Served today by Josh T and Josh K. Both were helpful when in the process of renewing my membership I realised I had misplaced my bank card so had to return to the car. I had actually left it in store when trying on shoes and luckily it was still on the seat in store. On my return they kindly continued with the process with sympathy and understanding without embarrassment. Thank you.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding customer service at GO Outdoors Loughborough

I don't often leave reviews, but after the experience I had at GO Outdoors Loughborough, I felt the team deserved some recognition.

I first visited the store to purchase a Berghaus Air 400XL Nightfall tent, and Josh served me on the till. He was friendly, welcoming and easy to chat to, making the whole experience enjoyable from the start.

It's always nice to be served by someone who genuinely seems to enjoy helping customers.

A short while later, I needed to return to the store to discuss my purchase and asked if I could speak to the duty manager. Henry came over and was absolutely brilliant. He listened carefully to my query, took the time to understand the situation and worked hard to find the best outcome. At no point did I feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. He was professional, patient and genuinely wanted to help.

While we were there, we were also buying a Cadac cooker, gas cartridges and a few other camping essentials. Henry even made sure my Blue Light discount was applied where possible, which was a lovely extra touch and much appreciated.

What really stood out throughout both visits was the atmosphere in the store. Every member of staff we came across was friendly, approachable and happy to help. There was a genuinely welcoming feel, and it was clear that customer service is something the team takes pride in.

Josh gave me a fantastic first impression of the store, and Henry's excellent customer service reinforced it. Both are a real credit to GO Outdoors Loughborough.

A huge thank you to Josh, Henry and the rest of the team for making what could have been a stressful situation so easy to resolve. I'll definitely be returning for future camping and outdoor gear and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this store to family and friends.

The member is staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, when choosing a new pair of walking shoes.

I’d been looking for an E bike that was foldable and a friend suggested Go Outdoors.
So after reserving a bike I’d then seen on their website sale, I went to the Bike 365 section to get more details on my chosen purchase. Unfortunately it wasn’t suitable because of the battery set up.
But, the young man who served me, Lochlan….. talked me through other options and I chose a much better quality bike.
A good purchase made, also with a safety helmet and security chain.
Lochlan was very professional, patient and helpful, advising me of the 6 week bike check up and other services they provide at bike 365 and completing a full safety check before completing the sale.
Very happy with the service I received
I love my new bike, it’s fantastic to get out and about and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.

This store is on my doorstep so I use it quite a bit. Staff are always really helpful (especially Emily), whether buying products or using the parcel shop. Top marks all round 😁

Very efficient refund service on store when I returned shorts that were a poor fit

Lochlan was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient, a real credit to the business. No hard selling practice, just friendly professional service. If only all retailers had a this level of service!

Came in to buy a tent and some general camping gear, Lochlan was a great help in choosing a tent and steered us away from buying something unsuitable for our needs. Also ran around the store with us giving us advice on waterproofing, trekking poles, sleeping bags, etc. Overall really sped up the process and was very friendly.

As always great help from Emily and a good range of gear given we’re not super close to a national park you’d be surprised at how much is catered for!

Ordered and paid on line, click and collect. All very simple and easy to do. The woman at click and collect was friendly and very helpful. I would give them 5 stars but the click and collect point has been moved from the store entrance where the tills are, right to the very back of the store. Stupid decision that.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, I didnt have a clue what I needed but they made everything so simple and easy and Luke on the desk was next level!
Will definitely be going back!

Bought a tent today,Henry was incredibly helpful. He quized my choice of tent and saved me from buying a pop up tent which I find very frustrating to pack. At the till Emily was efficient and friendly. She stayed friendly even when typing my membership card 4 times as I kept finding things to buy. The price I paid for a display tent was outstanding value. Very satisfied customer. Thank you!
