I made an order online to pick up at the daybrook store.
It was ready to collect after two days.
Easy process
They took a while to find my order onsite though.
Overall good service

All of the staff that served me from the lady on the shoe department to the girl on the tills were super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is always organised and tidy as well.

Came in because my tire came off my wheel and got helped by Francis - he took care of us and got the bike fixed in seconds. Helped me and my dad get the right multi tool and choose a pump. Great lad and was super positive 🙌

Fantastically tidy and organised shop. Alex on tills was lovely and sorted out our discount friendlily and efficiently :) Went above and beyond and is a credit to the shop.

Called into the store on Monday to enquire about trekking poles. We were approached by a member of staff who I have later found out is named Maria. Although there were three of us, this did not face her at all and we were all instantly impressed with her obvious and encyclopedic knowledge on the stock from how to adjust each one to the appropriate height the rubber bones on the bottom The additional things that stop the stick sinking into very soft soil. One of us wanted to buy some socks and her knowledge on even those was impressive.

On Thursday we returned with The person who needed the sticks we were importing our knowledge to him and we noticed she became free and once more not only did she have the most engaging personality but was able to show him how to walk with the pole and it was like watching a miracle curb before my eyes. His gait was transformed.

Her advice to the same person on hiking boots and sandals was 2nd to none including how to properly put them on and fasten them so that your feet do not slip forward and toes touch the front of a correct fitting/fastened shoe.

As I wanted a new backpack she even offered to take the chosen items and put them behind the tills so we weren’t lugging them round the store.

The store itself was clean, cool tidy and an Aladdin‘s cave of outdoor related items

I became a member on Monday when socks were purchased and on Thursday was able to get my bag discounted saving £65 on the purchase on a £5 membership fee. I’m converted this is a fantastic store with members of staff who are friendly knowledgeable and a credit to the company.

I was very impressed by the ambience of the store,the range of goods and the way that they were displayed. The staff were friendly and helpful. In particular Maria was very patient and informative both on the subject of walking poles and shoes, displaying not only a broad knowledge across the range but also how particular medical conditions could be helped . I recommended the store to others based on my experience.

Always great choice, tidy and easy to find sections you're looking for. Great membership discount too 🙂

Went in to buy a few items on one of the hottest days of the year and was grateful for the professional and speedy service I received from staff. Served by Nicole at the till who was very upbeat and made sure that I had everything I needed and that any discounts had been applied. I know I was one of many customers, but Nicole’ approach, enthusiasm and engagement made me feel that my custom was genuinely wanted by Go Outdoors. Great job.

Elena D was very helpful and amicable in helping with my purchase. Good customer service skills and a smile 😊.

Very helpful staff member when selecting and trying on sandals. Nothing too much trouble and excellent communication skills. Same at checkout. Recommend visiting store rather than order online!

I went into the store today and everyone was so helpful. The woman who helped he was so patient and explained everything to me, I don’t remember her name but she’s a manager and deserves a pay rise!!!! My son was very chuffed with the items she helped choose!

Nicole was very helpful on footwear. Helped me find a good pair of merrells.
And elena on tills was very friendly.

I am absolutely appalled by the way the staff are being treated in Daybrook Arnold Nottingham store it’s probably the hottest day of the year with RED warning to life on the weather and the staff are working in half working air conditioning units that blow nothing but hot air and yet they are still working with a big smile and ready to help attitude it is disgusting that go outdoors are allowing staff to work in such terrible conditions in what I call a green house. It’s far to hot for me to even shop in there never mind work a whole 8 hour shift. That being said elena and Francis were amazing and did such a great job in helping me and my mum shop for our trip to the peaks but go outdoors needs to do better and treat there amazing staff to a gift or incentive especially given they are working in a horrendous muggy Green house build ing this surely is against health and safety regulations.

Got followed around the store like I was going to pinch something.myself and my daughter were going to buy a tent and was looking at other things we needed but after this we shopped elsewhere

Went in for my mother’s walking boots met a brilliant lady Maria she managed to find a lovely set of boots after trying 10 different boots Thank you very much
