GO Outdoors - Nottingham Reviews 

I am absolutely appalled by the way the staff are being treated in Daybrook Arnold Nottingham store it’s probably the hottest day of the year with RED warning to life on the weather and the staff are working in half working air conditioning units that blow nothing but hot air and yet they are still working with a big smile and ready to help attitude it is disgusting that go outdoors are allowing staff to work in such terrible conditions in what I call a green house. It’s far to hot for me to even shop in there never mind work a whole 8 hour shift. That being said elena and Francis were amazing and did such a great job in helping me and my mum shop for our trip to the peaks but go outdoors needs to do better and treat there amazing staff to a gift or incentive especially given they are working in a horrendous muggy Green house build ing this surely is against health and safety regulations.

Got followed around the store like I was going to pinch something.myself and my daughter were going to buy a tent and was looking at other things we needed but after this we shopped elsewhere

Went in for my mother’s walking boots met a brilliant lady Maria she managed to find a lovely set of boots after trying 10 different boots Thank you very much

In a world of bad and co fusing online AI representations of camping gear, we really appreciated the setup at the Nottingham store. Seeing the product in person is what sells it. Obviously this requires renting a big unit, but it worked for us and I think that's your usp.

Our experience was excellent due largely to the service. We were assisted by Nicole on footwear who ended up escorting us around the entire shop until all our needs were met. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and definitely needs a raise. Maybe turn the heating down in the shop though!

Went to go outdoors today,they was very good very helpfull Dan on camping help me around the shop giveing me good advise and Elias on till was also very good quick no waiting around and gave me some good advise on the equipmet i brought 10 out 10 for both of them thank you

We visited the Nottingham store today to get some things for my daughter’s forthcoming DofE. The service was really great. I’d like to callout Evie for helping with walking boots. Really friendly approach and gave good advice. I’d also callout Rowan who helped with a rucksack. Again super-friendly, gave good advice and recommendation. Well done both of you Go Outdoors are lucky to have employees like you.

Roman did a super job in finding us ideal walking shoes, even after several trying ons and some more than once she was still happy to help &lovely mannered, perfect customer service.

Went in today for some new walking trousers, found what I needed from a good range of choice, in fact ended up buying 2 pairs. Very helpful service at the till from Francis.

Came in to get stuff for DofE the staff (Francis) was amazing, helped us when one of the shirts was scuffed and got us a discount. Nice lad and good staff

The man who assisted me and my friend to buy walking boots at your branch in Daybrook, Nottingham was fantastic - helpful, patient and so friendly- it took us a while to try on so many boots and he was brilliant- we both got exactly what we wanted so thank you. Just sorry I didn’t get his name but he worked in the boot & shoe department, so hopefully this feedback will get back to him!!

Popped in today to see if I could find a comfortable camping chair that wouldn't exacerbate my back condition. I asked a member of staff (Elias) if they had a chair that would recline but also raised my feet. He took me straight to have a look at a Berghaus Freeform chair and footstool. Having tried them they were perfect so Elias took to where they were in their 'travel bags'. I also ended up buying a portable camping fridge and when Elias saw me struggling to carry everything down the stairs he immediately asked if he could help by carrying something to the checkout. Elias remained whilst Frances was professional and courteous on the checkout. Elias then offered to help me take the 3 bulky items to my car which was much appreciated. Thank you Elias, you were knowledgeable, affable and supremely helpful.

Went into store for 2 wetsuits found what we were looking for straight away, took to the checkout and wow what a breath of fresh air Frances was, helpful, happy and full of smiles! Thank you so much 5 stars to store and Frances

Needed some advice on some items, was helped by Maria, who took time to find out my budget and what would be useful for my needs, friendly and helpful.

I was helped by Maria to choose some hike boots, she was very helpful and kind and even taught me an amazing way to tie them. 5/5
