Absolutely fab service from Michelle today. Nothing was too much trouble, she was super friendly and took the time to make sure our boots were right for us. Also the product knowledge Michelle has for the footwear is second to none.
It was lovely to meet you Michelle and we definitely felt like we were in good hands from start to finish.

Tony was very helpful with advice and getting different sizes and models for my particular needs.

We came to Go Outdoors ,Penrith this afternoon 23/07/2026 to buy new walking boots.
I was wearing Sherpa Terra boots that I have had for 6+ years and worn out Ryan very kindly served us aware of my well worn boots and I bought a new pair ,perfect.Although other styles etc discussed ,Ryan was aware of my needs and no pressure to replace what I have found a comfortable and appropriate boot for me.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Tony at GO Outdoors for his excellent customer service.
I went in looking for a pair of walking sandals because I was struggling with blisters. Tony took the time to recommend the right pair for me and even convinced me to wear them with socks—which I never thought I'd do!
Yesterday I completed a 5-hour walk on the Helvellyn range, and they honestly felt like slippers from start to finish. I couldn't be happier with the recommendation.

Visited the Penrith store 18/07/26 to purchase some wide fit walking boots. I was served by Tony who was extremely helpful, and knowledgeable of the products he was selling. I eventually purchased a very comfortable, wide fit pair or Meindl boots, which Go Outdoors kindly price matched, which I was very grateful for as it was a fair saving. The checkout experience was pleasant and swift. Happy to recommend Go Outdoors Penrith.

Ive tried other stores that provide walking gear but I always return to Go outdoors for the quality and price. But most of all, the service I get from staff. This time I was served by Tony who assisted me with purchasing 2 pairs of hiking shoes and socks. He was knowledgeable about what was in stock, and the shoes that meet my needs. And although it was towards the end of the day he was still enthusiastic about his work, and was courteous and emphatic with a genuine smile. Keep up the good work Tony and your colleagues.

Had a problem with my gears changing on electric bike, called in and asked Philip if he could have a quick look to see what the problem was. He resolved the issue plus lots of other things that needed doing within a couple of hours. He explained to me what the problems were and how to look after the hub and chain. Outstanding service at a very reasonable price, won’t hesitate to return for routine maintenance and other issues with bikes.

I went into Penrith's go outdoors specifically to replace my walking boots. Michelle spotted me while working in the stock room, she came straight out and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She then offered me some maintenance advice and ensured that I knew how to claim some discounts that I qualified for. She couldn't have been more helpful or professional.
