Very knowledgeable and friendly service.
I was very pleasantly surprised by my visit. I was greated by very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Aron helped me find the best hiking boots that fit me perfectly. And to top it all off, it was cheaper and the staff were friendlier than other outdoor shops I'd tried. Would highly recommend them! I hope to visit again soon.

Great customer service
Visited a few weeks ago, very friendly staff who will go above and beyond. Was served by Aron who contacted another store in the area to see whether they had a product that wasn’t available in the Porthmadog branch. After checking they had it in stock and then reserving one for me, he gave me clear directions to the store and helped me set up a membership to save time. Would highly recommend and will be using again when I’m in the area.

Do not bother sending anything back via this store to ups ! Terrible service and extremely rude.. I was told that my I would receive a txt verifying that I had returned my item within the hour .I did not receive the verification txt , called the store , The person on the phone was Not the person I dealt with in the store !
This person was totally unhelpful and rude ,He then put the phone on hold intentionally for ages so there ended the conversation! I had to phone New Balance ,the parcel was sent to them , who sorted it out immediately without any issues

Expedition shopping list!
Visited Sunday 5th July with a list of 40+ items for daughters trip to Kenya. Was dreading it! It Ended up being a really lovely experience! Had help from a few, but in particular Alfie really helped us! He knew the store like the back of his hand and advised us on sizes/make’s and suitable gear! Thanks Alfie we really appreciated your help. The guy at desk also excellent customer service, but didn’t catch name.

Have previously been happy with the store but this morning I found the staff uninterested in serving or answering a query. No ‘ good morning and renewed the membership card with asking’ . Obviously been out Saturday night and didn’t want to be there. Not good customer service.

Helpful staff member called tyler
The shop worker tyler helped me with a cooker i was having issues with even though i hadnt purchaced it at the store. I ended up buying a new one.
He spoke wkth me abiut the local area and also reccomended a coffee shop.
