Thank you to Lilly for your patience and advice when buying a new pair of walking boots recently. I took a while to decide and ended up surrounded by boxes. But I found a great boot that fits well and will last for years. You are ace!

I went hoping to replace my waking boots. Dan was right there with help and advice showing me how to spot the waterproof ones. He was so pleasant bringing out different styles for me to try until I found the right pair.

Didn’t have the boots I wanted but Kris said they could be ordered in at a matched price. He suggested I try on a different type of boot from the same manufacturer to ensure fit and sizing which was very helpful. Arrived in store couple of days later where I tried them on again under the guidance of Kris. All in all an excellent service many thanks.

We visited the Shrewsbury branch to buy new walking boots for my son. Rex, who helped us, was knowledgable, patient and very helpful. He also helped us save money on the purchase, which was much appreciated just before Christmas.

Ever since covid a few years ago the Shrewsbury store stopped putting out tents on display.
Having tents on display really helps decide which ones are suitable at my last visit I saw a whole new range of lightweight tents from the phoxx1 to the bandicoot even a tarp was listed but none of them were on show so I never bothered looking into it any further.
I can't stress how important it is to have this stuff out on display it really makes going to Go Outdoors so much different than any other outdoors store.

Needed a new fleece/soft shell jacket for work,and this kne from Peter Storm fr under £45 looks like an absolute bargain,I just hope it doesn't let me down when I'm wearing it

Visited this store on the 15th December, whilst staying over in Shrewsbury. Picked up a double CampingGaz stove in the sale, at an excellent price. Ian, Max and Kelly were extremely helpful and friendly, professional service with a smile! Even allowed me to leave it in store so I could continue my shopping. Thank you.

Went into the Go Outdoors Express in Shrewsbury today to look for a certain type of hybrid insulated jacket.
I was attended to by Kelly who went out of her way to try and find the right one for me spending at least 10 mins looking in the store and on the firms website.
Nothing was too much trouble she even asked another member of staff to try and help.
I was most impressed by her keeness to help so thankyou to Kelly and the other member of staff (male) whos name I didnt get.
