Hang on a minute...£100 off a £140 down jacket? What a great deal! So I paid my £5 to become a "member" and handed over the £40! Just as importantly, the staff were great, not pushy or in your face but polite and extremely helpful, particularly Kris, Laura and a young man who was really informative about camping gear upstairs. They're simply a credit to the company.

Kelly was very helpful and new her job at Go Outdoors Shrewsbury express found what I needed in your shop .

Extremely helpful at till. My GO card was not recognised so searched and issued replacement to ensure I got members price.

We called in on Sunday and Kelly was extremely helpful and courteous

I just bought waterproof bottoms. All a bit pricey for me but had lots of help from Kelly and ended up with the right pair for my budget / requirements. She gave us some useful info about hand warmer products too.

Fantastic Service from Laura over 2 visits and Will yesterday ! My husband was quite indecisive about the walking boots that he was trying on and tried on lots !
In the end we decided to return the next day to further the indecision ! In the end REALLY pleased with the very good walking boots and a couple of hats that we purchased . Laura and Will very very patient, good humoured and made sure we were ok with the eventual purchase. Thank you .

I popped into today knowing what I wanted but Kelly still made sure that the product I purchased was fit for the purpose I needed it for. I've always found the staff in this store (as with others) to be friendly and helpful. There are usually some good offers instore too.

Back in November 2024 we visited the GO Outdoors Shrewsbury branch to purchase backpacks, ahead of our travels to South East Asia!

We had done our research, but Kelly was extremely kind and informative in advising my wife and I to purchase Osprey (Farpoint & Fairview 70L) bags.

As DofE leaders, Kelly also helped us to receive useful and fair discount.

The branch was clean, tidy and supporting staff were all very friendly.

I would certainly recommend this branch to others.

We were served by Rex who was very attentive without being pushy. He fetched and carried numerous boxes of boots and at the point of me giving up, he pointed out a pair I hadn't noticed. They were perfect!
