Gavin who helped me find my ideal hiking boots was most helpful and professional. He knows the extensive stock thoroughly and quickly understood my needs (and feet!). I’d recommend this store highly.

Fantastically helpful staff
Fantastically helpful staff. Tim was brilliant - I had the feeling he was really listening and figuring what I needed. Upstairs, the lady was very helpful. I left, having joined the GO club and telling people at work. Great positive experience!!!

Great service
I went in to buy a new pair of walking boots. The ones I had previously are no longer available. Gavin was so helpful, measuring my feet and suggesting other makes that would suit me. He even gave me advice on tying up the laces to prevent my foot slipping forward in the boot. I have been to other Go Outdoors stores, and with the exception of one, have always found the service good, but Gavin was outstanding

Great service despite no purchase
I'd really recommend Go Outdoors if looking for a wide range of stock and excellent staff. I went into the store trying to find a pair of trainers which actually fitted. Gavin was really patient with me, measured my feet accurately and patiently tried about 10 pairs of trainers. Unfortunately none actually fitted, but I never felt rushed and was offered great advice. Cheers Gavin and other staff at Go Outdoors.

Very customer focused - a great experience!
Gavin, at the St. Paul's branch, was super helpful and advised me about the best shoe fits for my feet. He provided information about how to choose the right width shoe for my feet, given that I have slightly wide feet and provided a wealth of other information as well. I wholeheartedly recommend this store!
