Good friendly staff and got products what I needed at good price

Went in to try on some climbing shoes, Nathan was great and grabbed different shoes and sizes for me to try and have me some helpful tips and suggestions

Just been to Go Outdoors in Stoke and I accidentally gave Josh £20 too much. He noticed, double-checked it and gave the money straight back to me. Really appreciate his honesty — it’s nice to see someone who’s genuinely honest and looks out for their customers. Thanks Josh

Really good experience and Theresa was very helpful & friendly.

Iv been to the same store around 3/4 times this week looking for a specific item, which seems to be hard to get hold of. Everytime, Iv been greated at the door by a lady, who I now know to be Clare, with a friendly hello, hope your okay. Super friendly but importantly not overbearing. Both me and my partner have commented about how happy and friendly she seemed on every occasion. On the third occasion, I asked her about the item, as it showed online that there was two in stock. She explained that a large quantity off stock had just arrived on pallets, and was due to be put out over the course of that evening, and the following day. But if she come accross the item, she would put it aside. Nathan another staff member who was trying to help also told me to ring the store tomorrow to check. The following day, I rang the store late afternoon, and spoke to a lady, who I don’t recall her name, and I heard Clare in the background say is that the lady after the orange yeti flask. She then come on the phone and said that there was still 10 pallets of stock to go through, but she would make sure that when the found the item she would call. 15 minuetes later, I got the call to say it was located, and put aside for me. Overall, all the staff were super friendly, helpful and were able to laugh about how desperate I was to get my hands on the flask. Clare specifically was noticeable friendly and helpful, and nothing seemed to big. Nathan was also equally as friendly and helpful, and aided Clare with locating and securing the item. Go outdoors should be proud to have staff as friendly and happy as Clare and Nathan working for them, as it’s often difficult to find genuinly nice, happy and friendly people, especially in the retail company. It was also clear from small talk with Clare, that she has a genuine passion for protecting the company name, and was actually happy to be at work.
Overall the customer service was above and beyond.

I had a great experience with Clare and the team at Go Outdoors. They were all really helpful and friendly when helping me find a pair of Moretta boots. Clare went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. Excellent customer service from the whole team. Thank you for all your help!

Well where does one even begin to start.

I headed out in my pj bottom with my fellow friends. I personally wasn’t look to purchase anything.

However, I saw a rather nice coat which is a proper walking coat, which is fitting as I had the NATIONAL 3 peaks challenge 2 days after this visit.

After pestering the wonderful Jess, who told me everything I needed and wanted to know, I thought it was a cracking piece of clobber to purchase.

This then made me think of my precious feet.

This is when teresa spawned in and took advantage of me. She saw I was splashing the cash and capitalized on this opportunity. She also managed to convinced me to purchase Marino wool socks. Yet again I thought sod it and did.

So from heading, not looking to buy anything, to spending 420 Great British Pounds. I was concerned. Not just for my bank account.

However, as the weather took a nasty change. This money spent came in very handy as I was warm and dry. So thank you to j dawg and t dawg.

And then there was Owen. It took us a while trying to sort the money out as we wanted to pay some it cash, as cash doesn’t count. He was very patient and understanding. So thanks to him too.

We did infant finish the 3 peaks in under 23 hours. Thank you.

This wouldn’t have been doable without the great help from the 3 staff members who looked after us wonderfully.

Where do I start. Tip top from start to finish. Shout out to Jess and Teresa absolute dream team went in for a pair of socks for the 3 peaks challenge walked out with £450+ worth of stuff. Mind you conditions up snowdon made me glad I had bought it.

Jess refused to give me employee discount after I begged her to for about an hour, a truly loyal staff member. And after I tried the coat on maybe 12 times to be sure.

Saw Teresa a while ago she sorted out mapping my feet but my review got lost and she didn’t see it.

Also incredible range of sizes in socks from XL for myself and some smaller ones for my friends (no judgement was passed by staff)

Even said hello to lovely gent who was trying to sell me some vibrums soled shoes - although not entirely sure he worked there.

3 peaks completed in 22:55:41 for those wondering.

Shout out the team. Shout out members discount. 2 hours and 1 paycheck well spent. I will be back when I get paid again to spend it all in one go.

Anthony the young man on the shoes is absolutely wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Rory on checkouts delightful and friendly. Clare was also very friendly and helpful. These particular 3 members of staff made our shopping experience great and enjoyable

Went in to purchase boots for my son who is climbing for charity. Teresa was amazing, explained everything and was really knowledgable. We will be back to deal with Teresa for the rest of the kit.
