GO Outdoors - Sunderland Reviews 

I visited the Sunderland (Pallion) Branch with my Grandson to buy some maggots and fishing equipment for his fishing trip and Nathan assited my Grandson to select the correct equipment to fish the Stephensons Lake in Hetton-le Hole, which Nathan actually fishes himself, this was a very pleasant experience and my Grandson was made up with the help and assitance from Nathan :-)

Went today to buy a sleeping bag and wanted to get the best value possible. The two assistants that help me were outstanding and went the extra mile regarding customer service.

I had a fantastic experience shopping at the GO Outdoors Sunderland store, all thanks to Ruby. I was looking for a complete camping set, and she assisted me every single step of the way. Not only did she help me pick out the perfect gear, but she also went above and beyond by helping me carry everything out and loading it safely into my car. Excellent customer service. A member of staff was friendly, helpful and took the time to help me find the T-shirts I was looking for. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made my shopping experience quick and easy. Thank you for the great service.

Just been into the Sunderland store and it was like being in a child’s play ground. The staff were running round the store giggling like children taking photos of each other and just generally messing about. Couldn’t find what I was looking for, so asked a member of staff if they had the item in stock (I have previously purchased the same item from a different go outdoors store, but would like another pair) the staff member told me “oh I wouldn’t know, we have so many different brands here”. Left the store disappointed but will go home and try to purchase the item on-line from a different supplier.

Visited three Go Outdoor stores today searching for an item, Team valley staff we’re extremely helpful as was the Metro Centre, the same can not be said about Pallion, the staff we’re carrying on acting like children in the store, laughing and giggling loudly and very unprofessional.. when i asked the girl on the checkout if the had any Mens North Face trousers, the response i got back was” I wouldn’t know we have that many” atrocious customer service, and again very unprofessional.

Today I visited the Sunderland store with my kids. Nathan was absolutely amazing, so helpful with all things fishing. Answered all our questions & helped us out with what we needed. He even gave us advise & tips on where to find examples on you tube of setting up our line up.
Nathan showed myself & my son how to do the loop to loops.
Excellent customer service.

My experience at go outdoors was very easy, this was due to the immense help from drew, in the footwear department, poppy with the till service snd ruby's exceptional recommendations with styling myself! :)

Item I wanted wasn't on display but Nathan went to check the store and came back with what I wanted.

Came in for a lightweight waterproof coat to go to the matches in and walk the dog in. Had looked at 2 Berghaus coats online and wanted to try them both on in the shop to see how they looked on me. Shaunnxa was absolutely brilliant at helping me decide which one would be best suited for my activities. She was very patient as Id tried multiple sizes but was no bother for her!
Will definitely be returning 👍

We were served by Karen who could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were buying shoes and she got at least 12 different boxes out She was very knowledgable about the different makes and gave us sound advice. I was really impressed by all the staff Thank you
