Wanted to return a coat my grandson didn't like.
And i turned up at the til and Teagan made everything quick smooth and friendly. Always a pleasure at Swansea whether its buying or refunding.

I called in today with my grandmothers wheelchair, with the hopes of getting some advice as the brake on her wheelchair had snapped. (I thought it looked the same as a bike brake) Sara was able to direct me to Brian on the bike department who was super helpful! And assured me that he could fix it there and then much to my surprise!
I’d like to say a huge thankyou! My grandmother is over the moon! She was panicking that it couldn’t be repaired and that she would need to buy a new wheelchair. You’ve put her mind at ease knowing it was fixed on the spot.

Travelled from Haverfordwest to Swansea go outdoors to try walking boots for a trek in Madagascar in April. Recommended by my wife to visit as I have had numerous issues with walking boots; when it gets hot my left foot tends to get swollen and my small toe will always feel pinched and makes trekking difficult. Have bought online before;it's been a right hassle with getting boots I haven't tried on, sending them back and having to try another.

I saw staff member Tim. He knew what was on about regarding boots. We went through several boot options, taking into account of the above. Gave me considerable time with trying different boots and different sizes. Was very approachable and patient with me. Also gave good advice on how to be double sure that the boots will definitely be right for me once getting home.Came away with a pair of decent boots with the Go outdoors reduced membership price and then put me in contact with another staff member as I was seeking advice on sleep mats, sleeping bags and backpack liner options. I wasn't purchasing the mats, bags or liners today, but got very good advice on what to look at before deciding what to type/brands to get. Another approachable and friendly staff member. Same with the checkout staff member.. The travel to and from Go outdoors was worth it

Nicola server was lovely. Also the young girl in shoes dept. Not a lot of staff there so had to wait 5-10 mins which meant they were inundated with customers who had waited

Question > Whats it for ???
Answer > It is for a 2 year woodland survival course. Im about to embark on and wanted to be warm. As we are expecting minus C temperatures.
Bryans answer
1) Rab Nebulus would be warmer. But not very robust for scrambling through woods collecting fire wood etc. likely to tear.
2) Rab Pile jacket would be more robust. But not quite as warm. But survival is about layering clothes to stay warm not 1 single layer. and building camp fires. So should be more than warm enough.
Decision made.
