I needed specific walking boots for foot problems. Pedro was very helpful and informative without being pushy. I came away with socks and insoles as well as great Merrel boots. Will be visiting again and recommending.

Michael MC was absolutely superb. Very knowledgable, approachable and helpful. Couple of other members of staff also helped me get fully kitted out for a family camp. Would recommend!

Terry on the fishing counter was so helpful and friendly. As someone who’s only ever learned from my grandad who can’t fish as much, he really made everything so easy and understandable for me. Honestly would love to be served by him again he was amazing.

The service from Go Outdoors is exceptional. Although we had an issue with delivery (courier fault) the staff were fantastic at resolving it. The staff were very friendly and personable, both in store and on the phone. Will absolutely use again and again.

I visited the shop in TVTE, Gateshead to purchase a replacement Map Case. Asked at the reception/Payment Counter and was immediately shown the location of where they were kept. I selected the type I needed paid for it and thanked your very efficient and helpful assistant.

Anthony helped us pick out our tent and genuinely made the experience so much better than expected. He was very knowledgeable, without being overbearing. Weighed up the pros and cons of models and shared own experiences. My dad is a well known outdoors YouTuber and I feel like Anthony’s advice and helpfulness was of a similar ilk to him. Great customer service.

Andy was the most patient and helpful person which is very much appreciated. We were trying to find suitable hiking boots for my daughter’s Gold D of E expedition and he took time to advise us properly, go back and forward to the stock room (about 6 times!) and still kept a smile on his face. He also juggled other customer too at the same time. Great customer service!!
