Found what we needed easily. We were served by Emma who was very helpful and cheery. The car park is beyond bad though!

My discount card had expired. I was buying some things anyway so Emma on the till renewed my card for me. Emma was very cheerful, polite and smiling while she was doing her job. Excellent service.

Great staff , always there if you need help . Good selection of outdoor gear . Definitely my go to place for hiking equipment.

Andy C at Wakefield Go Outdoors was very helpful. He went and found us the gloves we wanted, which were stored away in the back due to them being out of season. Much appreciated.

I was helped by a lovely young lady called Emily she was very helpful, she took time to ask what i was looking to purchase, she helped me choose the item from my requirements. very helpful and professional would definitely return again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, in particular the chap in the boots department who helped me with laces and Ruth who helped with looking for a new fleece. Could you pass on to Peter Storm (fleece manufacturer) a request to make the sleeves of their fleeces more roomy? I bought a lovely fleece but the sleeves are too narrow to wear a sweatshirt or chunky sweater underneath. Thanks!

Warm welcome upon arrival, store us always well laid out with plenty of good offers. Served at the checkout by a very friendly staff member called Evie who made sure we had everything and was very polite.

We did click and collect from our local Wakefield store. Very friendly and helpful.

We went into the Wakefield store today and due to an issue with some walking boots we spoke to the manager on duty Reece Lockwood. After explaining the issue with the item my husband went out to the car to bring in the boots. During a conversation I was told that all boots need to be " Broken in " and suggested that my husband walk around the house in them and remember we hadn't bought a pair of carpet slippers .
I would just like to point out when I'm trying to reinact the Tryfan North Ridge on my carpeted stairs and landing for next week I'm pretty sure this is not going to help as you say "Break them in ". Please remind your manager that he is speaking to competent and experienced walkers and with today's technology "breaking boots in" as you say shouldn't happen it's a give.

What a great shopping experience. All staff lovely but special thanks to Emily and Bertie who helped my husband and I. There was such a choice and price range on boots and waterproofs and they enabled us to make the best choices for our needs and budget. We got waterproof trousers and a coat, gloves and boots at the quality we needed at a good price. Love the location too, feels very rural and outdoorsy. Much nicer than more urban outlets xx

Came into store today , looking for hiking gear for a trip im about to go on. When i walked in I was very overwhelmed , I knew what I needed but there was so many options. I approached a lovely girl called Emily, who assisted me perfectly. Emily talked me through what was the best options for my hike and wished me luck.
