The staff were friendly and helpful and the product was the good quality I've come to expect from Go Outdoors.

Called in the york express store to collect my online order , Yvonne was very knowledgeable and her customer service is first class🌟this store is a great find well laid out lots of stock and a great team of experienced colleagues.

Express outlet of the GO outdoors in the city, essential items for camping and outdoor activities. It is convenient to have an outlet in the city as it can be a traffic nightmare getting in to their flagship store. Membership option is helpful for keeping tab of interests. Very helpful staff, Emily was particularly knowledgeable in the area we were looking for . Highly recommended

Very helpful staff

Yvonne was very helpful finding my discount account when I had forgotten my card. I also saw her handle a very rude customer with patience when he threatened her with a complaint to Trading Standards for 'mis-pricing' an item he wanted to buy (he had simply misread discount price). Yvonne is not responsible for the Go Outdoors pricing policy. I wish people would understand that individual members of staff are not responsible for company policies and stop being abusive to individual members of staff.

I went to the Go outdoors in the city centre which used to be owned by Millets. The staff are very friendly and informative as I was buying walking shoes for my husband. Got a great deal by signing up with their membership card which even with the £5 sign up fee I still.saved £15 of the shoes.
I must admit I'm glad they have a smaller shop like this too as sometimes the bigger shops even though they are jam packed full useful stuff, it's just nice to go into somewhere that you know has more of the everyday stuff at hand.

I visited the York branch and purchased a Berghaus jacket and zip in fleece. They were good quality and comfortable. The staff were friendly and took time to ensure what I purchased was suitable for my requirements.

Ashley was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
As I am of short stature and a novice planning a walking holiday, she gave me excellent advice and helped me to find a suitable backpack that would be a comfortable fit and big enough for my needs.
