Carys at Naylor's in Go Outdoors expertly helped my partner with another session on the horse simulator. She is continuing to work on her position and stamina and Carys provides just the right amount of help and encouragement each time!

The wrong item was sent to us, it got mixed up with another order. I took the item into store to return it and they told me that they had issued a refund. We have still not received the refund and therefore we have no item and no money.
You can improve by sending out the correct item in the first instance.
You could refund people when you said you are.
Or you could send out the correct item out to me now please.

By using Go Outdoors price match policy (with my membership card) I was able to make a massive saving on the advertised price.

Andrew the section manager was particularly helpful throughout the process and transported my purchase to the car!

Item ordered was showing in stock but you decided it wasn’t!!!!!!
And when looked to order again it was still showing in stock!!!!!!!
So not impressed with my first time ordering from Go outdoors.

The York Vanguard Go Outdoors is absolutely incredible. The store is huge and very well organised and maintained.
I had a great experience here yesterday. I'd like to mention that Lewis on the checkout was very polite and professional, he helped with an issue on my membership card quickly and is a fantastic member of the team.

On 14th August 2026 we visited the York store regarding an issue with an air tent , the matter was dealt with by Clive Izzy and Kelly, Quickly and efficiently with highest customer care I have ever received .i cannot praise the staff enough for there care and consideration , These staff members were a credit to Go outdoors absolute credit to the team ,Their professionalism,dedication ,and friendly approach make every interaction a pleasure They consistently go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly.thank you for your hard work and stellar service.

The product that I got was good and was easy to get and delivered with good timeing and on schedule with in the time frame

We were served by Mark in the footwear section and he was absolutely brilliant. It brought back the good old days of customer service as he did everything he could to make sure we went out with the right size and trainer. Go Outdoors and other outlets are nowhere near this stress free and customer focussed in other locations! Many thanks.

Not great service. All of my items arrived separately from different delivery providers and at different days and times. I’m still awaiting my sofas which
I was told would be here today. We go away tomorrow so now we’ll be without them and they’ll just be left at my door for 2 weeks no doubt which is not ideal.

Not only is this shop in general very overstimulating all the time, our visit today left us empty-handed. We wanted to try on some shoes which need to be fetched from a staff-only area and tried on. We waited around for an age at an unmanned desk with no staff members in sight, and we're about to give up before a young lad finally appeared and offered to summon a more qualified coworker. Said coworker (a nice enough lad himself) arrived, brought us the shoes we wanted to try on, and then completely vanished again so we couldn't ask for more sizes or advice on our purchase. We left without buying a thing, fed up of waiting around. In the past we've also dealt with staff members who sound like they're frankly fed up with having to speak to customers, which leaves a sour taste when you have to ask to have your feet measured etc.

A lovely experience. I went in for some swimming shorts and a picknick blanket and the assistant Lauren was so helpful and kind. Store was clean and tidy.

I have to be honest, personally I have been extremely disappointed with my latest experience with Go Outdoors! My husband and I were unable to purchase what we consider, basic camping products in store so ordered on line for collection in store and every time we did this a few days plus later I received an email to say they’d cancelled my order and then another to say they’d issued a refund! Needless to say we’re very dissatisfied with the service from Go Outdoors and ended up buying the items we needed elsewhere for equally competitive prices with free delivery :-)
