Our house was on the market for over a year, but still they didn’t know basic information about our property when showing potential buyers round. That’s when they even showed them around, most of the time we had to do it ourselves as they “were too busy”.
The icing on the cake? When we came to take our house off the market with them, they charged us £120 for the privilege despite our house being on the market for over a year. When we took out our contract with them, they failed to mention this which I’m told is now illegal but we’ve already paid the money.
Absolute joke.
Stockton Branch - Great service getting my property on the market. Everyone was friendly and professional and kept me updated at all times. They facilitated all viewings because the property was empty and I was fully aware of what was going on at all times. Event when things went quiet I got regular updates with progress and support. Tanya was lovely!
After the sale was agreed, they did go silent and progress reports would have been appreciated however, when I contacted them they were happy to help.
An all round solid service.
Awful customer service.
They did find a buyer for our property, but the process from arranging viewings & throughout the sale process was very poor.
I made reasonable requests for information, which were flatly refused but then subsequently that same information was provided to me...merely because I persisted. To be obstinate and refuse in the first instance was simply unreasonable.
If only they had provided what I asked for the first time, we perhaps would be at two stars or more...but their internal communication was terrible. Staff members were often left without basic information & at times I knew more than they did about viewings or the sale process. The Yarm branch manager wasn’t on top of the sale information & often provided conflicting and confusing information; this adds further to the poor review.
It felt as though everything had to go through one person, the manager, before it could be communicated to us.
As a result, it was a genuine shambles throughout.
