INEOS Kenilworth Road Solihull
Stumbled across this garage through endless visits to garages while looking to buy a new car. Very professional set up with very well presented cars, at realistic prices. Steven Palmer took us through the process including trading our car against the new car.
Never once felt pressured into buying, regarding the price of our car being traded in again I felt it a fair price.
With them currently moving into the old Aston Martin site in Hampton in Arden they have some big shoes to fill, they are definitely doing this.
Would recommend them for anyone looking to purchase a new/second hand car.

Extremely Disappointing Service at Grange McLaren Hatfield
I am compelled to share my profoundly disappointing experience with Grange McLaren Hatfield, which stands out as the worst customer service I have ever encountered from a high-end car dealership. This experience is especially disheartening considering my longstanding and positive relationship with Aston Martin Grange in Brentwood, where I have been a loyal customer for 15 years, purchasing five cars and consistently receiving exemplary service.
The contrast between the service provided by Aston Martin Grange and Grange McLaren Hatfield could not be more stark. My recent experience with Grange McLaren Hatfield has been nothing short of frustrating and upsetting. I felt demeaned and disrespected, and my concerns were met with indifference rather than responsibility or a genuine effort to resolve the issues.
My vehicle was taken in for repairs, specifically to replace the dash center air ventilation mechanism and the indicator stalk, both of which were malfunctioning. I was stunned to discover that the repair cost was nearly £5,000 for these components alone, which is exorbitant considering they are merely plastic parts. Over my 25 years of car ownership, including 20 sport cars, I have never encountered such a situation.
The service experience was marred by numerous issues:
Extended Repair Time: The repair process dragged on for 30 days. During this time, my car was left outside in the sun, leading to damage on my new carbon fiber spoiler from bird droppings. This damage was confirmed by your service department in an email.
Damage to the Vehicle: While replacing the dash air vent, the leather interior was scratched and peeled. This additional damage is unacceptable and reflects a lack of care and professionalism. The damaged was confirmed by the video of health car check conducted prior to the repair.
Inadequate Response and Compensation: After escalating these concerns to the manager, I was assured of an investigation and follow-up. However, after waiting 10 days with no updates, I had to proactively reach out. The compensation offered was £200 merely a token amount for a superficial fix and required me to handle the restoration myself, which is unacceptable given the extent of the damage and far from an acceptable solution.
Based on this experience, I strongly advise against using Grange McLaren Hatfield. They had custody of my car and failed to protect it, ultimately causing further damage.
This review serves as a warning to others considering their services. I hope Grange McLaren Hatfield takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to their service standards.

Mis-sold an add on product
Mis-sold an add on product at Hatfield? I added 'tyre and wheel insurance' to purchase of my brand new Defender. Supposedly covered 2x punctures p.a. Unfortunately got a puncture - went to see Grange and got told they would 'speak to the insurer'. Four months later, some 30 calls and 10 messages not replied to, head of sales ignores me and no answer as to cover. Now contemplating replacing tyres myself and taking them to court. I can only assume I was mis-sold a policy (making it impossible to claim) because how can they be this useless?!?
Edited to add resolved this by going to dealer in person. Eventually got my tyres but don’t try ring these people!!
Grange of Woodford - Atrocious Experience
Grange of Woodford salesman had very poor knowledge of vehicle and additional products such as Gard X. Vehicle was described as "brand new" but was actually eight months old and the previous year's model. Calls not answered and emails ignored. Didn't go ahead with the purchase in the end because of this, but trying to recover deposit was sheer torture. Will never touch this dealership again. Go to Sytner and get treated properly...
Grange Jaguar Brentwood...how it should be done!
I've been a customer of Grange Jaguar in Brentwood since 2019, when I bought my iPace (elsewhere at <1yr old). They have carried out all servicing and MOTs on the car and have been absolutely great each time. There have been a couple of occasions where I've asked if I needed work carried out (damaged tyre and 12V batteries), which would have been easy money for them to say yes, the car needs work done...but they didn't; each time they assessed and reported back that everything was working within accepted guidelines. It's this trustworthy service that keeps me with them. My car was also affected by 2 of the recent major issues with the main HV battery; each time they were totally transparent about what needed doing and how long it would take. They even fought my corner with JLR customer relations to ensure I had a loan car for the entire time I was without my iPace. I have to single out Sahabjit Sodhi for particular praise; he has gone above and beyond in terms of what I as a customer could rightfully expect. Quite frankly, an exceptional service, highly recommended.

Twice I've gone to the dealership and tried to talk to somebody about changing my car at the Hatfield branch and twice I've been completely ignored ... Its no wonder they've got such a poor rating on Trustpilot... I don't know what it is but they need to sort it out as they're giving the LR brand a bad name.
Grange Swindon JLR are rubbish
Grange Swindon JLR are rubbish.
My Defender, bought off them, broke down.
Not their fault.
Told them on 15th April.
Got it in to them on a tow truck on the 19th.
They’ll finally, “hopefully”, look at it on1st May.
A Land Rover assist engineer came to look at the car and said it needed a new starter motor but they “have” to do their own diagnostic.
They never communicate on the lack of progress.
Finding out when they might look at my car is like getting blood out of a stone.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This organisation has no regard for customer satisfaction. My July 2023 registered hybrid Epace was taken in on 2nd April for serious safety issues - twice continuing to reverse when put into drive and once for going into limp home mode without any warning when driving on a dual carriageway - and I'm told that they have still not had time to look at the vehicle let alone diagnose the problem. The company is a disgrace and should have its JLR franchise removed.
Grange Hatfield - Zero customer service

Battery fault since January 24 which we continue to chase for update on when it will be repaired. Not once have they called with update and when we called most recently told to take it up with Land Rover Jaguar direct.
You would think some customer service could be provided.

Customers not important here
Terrible experience caused by one employee whilst waiting for service. Nobody else in customer area but employee insisted on the tv being on. I respectfully asked for it not to be on as it was too loud but told it was going on regardless. Volume made the area unusable as seating right next to tv. Seems like customers are not important here.
A small friendly company …
This small friendly company have great staff that listen to your needs. The retired owner got my Sunbeam Alpine going in the 1970s. His son Peter is a chip off the old block and is keeping my classic MG going. The work is first class, the price is very reasonable. I have absolute trust in the professionalism of the garage team.
I have a modern car and I feel no need to worry about repair charges. My trust in the team is very high.
I cannot recommend this company more highly. I am privileged to know every single member of the team.

Seems like they dont want my money
2 years ago i tried arranging to view a car listed for sale at brentwood. Went in to the showroom twice, first time i was told it was a "pool" car and wasnt currently with them. Went back a few days later as i was advised to do, "apologies its not here again" we will email you in 2-3 days when its back - never heard anything so bought a car elsewhere. Yesterday i see a nice looking XE on the forecourt, got home after running some errands and completed an online part ex valuation for my car. Got a phone call within 10 minutes, stated they would send over the details on the car - never received an email from them. Popped in there this morning, they served the person who walked in behind me and ignored me like i didnt exist. This afternoon, managed to pop back as i had some time, got told someone will be with me and to take a seat - 1 hour later, still no contact with anyone. I appreciate its only a £15k car im looking at buying and not a £100k car or brand new car but to be constantly ignored is disgusting and disrespectful. if they're like this before they take your money - what are they like after theyve got your money?
Georgia has been great
Georgia has been great. Have a 3rd party warranty and she’s been dogged in pursuing the claim (I’m sure you can imagine what the warranty company service is like). The dealership itself runs ‘lean’ (hence four stars) so it means it’s hard to get through on the phone etc etc, but it clearly motivates or recruits people who are good. Thank you Georgia.
Fantastic service
Fantastic service from John who ensured we had the car back in time for Christmas. Still needs spraying, but road worthy and usable over the holiday period. No fuss, straight forward and honest advice and extraordinary value for money. We had John recommended to us and now I will not use anyone else.
I am incredibly disappointed and…
I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience trying to purchase a car from The Grange. I made the decision to buy a car from them, excited about the prospect of owning a new vehicle, only to face a series of insurmountable issues.
To begin with, after finalising the purchase and eagerly anticipating the delivery date, the promised day came and went without any sign of the vehicle. No notification, no explanation, just utter silence, this happened three times. This lack of communication was utterly unprofessional and left me in a state of uncertainty.
Attempts to contact their customer service (Chris Meeks and Danny Hunt) were futile; it was like shouting into a void. Emails went unanswered, phone calls went ignored. It was as if they vanished into thin air after taking my money. The level of disregard for a paying customer is appalling.
I cannot emphasise enough the frustration and inconvenience caused by this complete lack of follow-through and accountability. It's not just about the absence of the car, but the absence of any semblance of customer care or responsibility on their part.
My advice to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from The grange is to think twice. The total absence of professionalism and disregard for customers' time and money is beyond belief. Save yourself the headache and seek a reputable and responsible dealership elsewhere.
This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I sincerely hope that others can avoid the distress and inconvenience that I've had to endure due to The grange's incompetence and neglect.
Poor experience
Bought an approved used iPace from these a couple of months ago. A really poor experience from start to finish. Found some faults with car before I completed purchase which they partially rectified but with an attitude like I was being a real pain expecting a 2yr old £35k car not to have a leaking front boot, not have MOT warnings about the front tyres and not have updated software. To top it off once I travelled to pick the car up it couldnt be registered to my Incontrol account and the reversing camera wasn't working. So much for the supposed 165 checks on approved used Jaguar. Now had to wait 8 weeks for my local dealer to fix under warranty. Avoid these guys if at all possible.
An exceptional customer experience at Grange Jaguar Brentwood
A totally unparalleled experience all round dealing with Grange Jaguar Brentwood. Bought my first Jaguar from here back in April. Since then, I’ve had various things that needed sorting. This is where Grange Jaguar really showed me their true colours. Huge shout out to Bill in service, Lee the service manager and Dan the sales manager. Without question, anything I needed sorting got sorted immediately. I’ve bought from many car dealerships and I’ve never experienced such a high level of customer service. Without question, I would buy from here again and will continue to recommend them. A premium car with an exceptionally premium customer experience.

Purchased a 2023 Lamborghini Tecnica last week, the most terrible hand over, the ppf was all damaged and the car wasn't even washed that well! I had better service when purchasing my Ford transits from Ford!
Will definatley be moving dealerships as this is not the first time we have received disappointing service from Grange!
