Fantastic service! The most efficient and least stressful part of the whole moving process! Three guys arrived on time and set to work quickly. They were friendly and chatty and happy to listen to any requests we had-nothing was too much trouble. Unloaded even more quickly at the other end, treating all our boxes and furniture with respect throughout the whole process.

3 friendly and polite guys arrived on time and filled the van quickly. They was ready and waiting outside the new property. They then unloaded the van carefully. I would recommend and I would use them again.

A great all round service with very friendly, professional and hard working staff.
Turned up on time and loaded everything quickly and carefully ( 1 big lorry and 1 large van )
They got to the new address promptly and were ready to move us in as soon as we could open the doors.
Unloading also went very smoothly with no damage or breakages what so ever and everything went in the rooms we asked it to be put in.
These guys made the last worry of any move go like a dream.
We highly recommend and would use again if ever we decided to move again.

We went in to storage with Grants 25/02/22 until 13/03/24 we were promised secure storage in a temperature controlled environment.The day of the move the driver was obviously having a bad day as he was effing and blinding at my wife when she expressed disappointment at the broken and damaged items as they were unloaded.Apart from the broken furniture which went to the tip and was part of a less than satisfactory insurance settlement with an insurer whose name was kept secret from us despite numerous requests to find out who they were, we have discovered that our goods were kept in a damp environment as doors won't open through swelling, everything is filthy dirty and we keep discovering new damage where stuff has been piled up and pushed together without protection.Our double bed has been thrown out as it was too dirty to use in spite of their attempts to clean it.Some items were actually wet in boxes. We have written to the MD MR D Grant by recorded delivery, seeking some recompense for the £6000.00 plus that we wasted on storage fees but he hasn't bothered to reply. We are both late seventies and have found the whole experience deeply distressing .
If you need storage go somewhere else. This firm take no responsibility for their total lack of service

From start to finish, Grants were fabulous! We moved with a broken chain so had to have our stuff in storage for a few weeks. We used their packing service too which I highly recommend. It took a lot of stress out of the process for us.
Both moving teams (moving our stuff into storage and moving into the house) were really friendly, very efficient and really careful. I can’t speak highly enough of how good they both were. And the office staff were also helpful and quick in dealing with queries.
We don’t pIan on moving again but if we do, we will be calling Grants!

Grants are simple brilliant. We didn’t get the keys to move in until 5.45pm. They waited rather than went away. They didn’t finish moving us in until 8.45pm. Nothing broke. No walls scrapped. Perfect move. Thanks to all involved

I would highly recommend Grants Removals. Gavin in the office was very understanding and kept my pencilled in booking open until I had my official completion date. With only two days' notice, Gavin was able to accommodate my move. The Grants removal team worked cleanly and efficiently. I have nothing but praise for the service they provided. Thanks guys.

The first time we moved we were happy with the service and decided to use them the second time. I agree with the other 1star review. Things are not carefully packed and protected.

Mattress was stained with footprints.
Chair leg was scratched to pieces. It took a while for them to admit they were responsible and then took a very long time for them to rectify my chair.

We put many items into storage and before Christmas we had all the items delivered back to us. However, a mirror is missing. Only one large box arrived and we thought both mirrors were packed together. Sadly, it was not the case and we are missing an item. They seem to have this “I’m right.” Approach. Only one mirror box arrived and something must of happened to the other in transit would be my guess.

On the day we moved into the house their driver reversed straight into my new house and damaged the roof with his huge lorry. Their driving was below standard and I grimaced every time they reversed. Bearing in mind I have a driveway that can park at least 25 cars! I would AVOID.

Carol in the office has been brilliant dealing with many changes of date. When the date finally arrived, the men had packed the lorries in no time. They unloaded just as quickly and were friendly, courteous and efficient. Would highly recommend.

Good communication throughout the booking process. Movers worked non stop. They were friendly and professional. Dismantling and assembly of furniture was done carefully and to our satisfaction.

We used Grants removals for our house move in March ‘23 and were fully expecting to experience issues similar to other people we’d spoken to. However, we had no problems at all. The whole process was so easy from the initial quote to move day. Clear communication, flexibility with move dates, swiftness of lifting our furniture and many boxes to the rebuilding of items like sofas and beds. Would definitely recommend.

Grants moved us from Surrey to Oxfordshire and their professional approach made a potentially stressful day a lot less stressful. They loaded 80% of our belongings into a large lorry the day before the completion date and then loaded the remaining 20% into a smaller lorry on the actual completion date. This meant there was less time pressure on the move date. Their removal team were helpful, friendly and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
