Kingsley (spark) and Tom (plumber) were fantastic at their jobs and explained everything as they went about this week long install. Everything worked first time, no issues / leaks or problems, everything cleared up, plastered boarded any holes and ready for a quick lick of paint. Colin, Ollie, Brayden were helping along the way and again thanks to those guys.

Thanks to those in the office, Sally & Nicky for keeping me up to date and thanks to Rich for all the technical questions that I through at him which he answered very easily.

Fantastic firm, don't hesitate to use them, all certification and docs handed over straight away, they made it look so easy.

All staff are friendly and helpful, from my first phone call enquiry to the final phase.

All the installation team were pleasant, polite and happy to answer any questions I had. At all times they were cheerful despite having to work in sub-zero temperatures. The installers cleared up after themselves each day so that disruption was minimised and they provided 2 heaters to offset the lack of heating. I had been told installation would take 3 days but in fact it took longer than that - in all 6 working days although this might have been due to travel problems due to the cold weather. When the heating was finally installed the boiler needed tweaking in order to give the required temperatures. I received prompt attention to this with a visit on New Year's Day! The heating is now operating smoothly and I'm looking forward to receiving smaller energy bills.

Very good experience from inception to operation of our solar panel +batteries installation . The process is clear and the survey allows clarification of possible upcoming technical challenges. The team would support through and find solutions for any challenges ( material availability , timing). There is always someone you can talk to.

We are very happy with our system, the simplicity of it.

This is an incredible company. The installation of solar panels and batteries has transformed my entire relationship with energy and electricity in my home. To say that I have become a little obsessed with checking my app to see how much charge my battery system has, is an understatement. I love it. It is really empowering as a homeowner, especially at these times of rising energy prices and climate concerns to understand how you are using energy. As for the service provided I can not fault it. It was flawless. From the initial assessment of my property by Harriet, who was able to answer all my questions to the aftercare service – it has been fantastic. The installation process was so quick and so pain free. The installation team were polite, friendly and again able to answer all my questions. They worked non-stop throughout the day and were even able to fit more panels on than I first thought. I can not recommend this company enough for the level of knowledge and service they offer. Prior to engaging with Green Building Renewables I’d had several negative experiences with solar companies' sales teams but from the very first interaction with this company I felt cared for and most importantly I trusted them. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Battery system and inverter installed in a day. Its use during August and September reduced my electricity consumption by 90%. Nice people, quick installation, fantastic performance.

Our heat pump (previously installed by Bright Green Renewables) stopped working during very cold weather. Phoned them at about 4pm and they sent the same engineer that installed it round by 9am the next day. All fixed that morning. It was a problem with the electrical cabling (work done by someone else) rather than the heat pump.

Good teamwork, got on well with all personnel

Great service from start to finish. Mark came out and did a detailed quotation for our solar panels and battery storage and the written quotation arrived within a couple of days. The panels and batteries were installed a couple of weeks later - everything about the installation was professional from putting up the scaffolding to setting up the app so we can monitor usage and energy generation. The necessary documents to enable us to apply for Outgoing Octopus were supplied promptly. Altogether a great experience - would highly recommend.

Tom and team arrived before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
They worked with care and diligence only taking a short break at lunch time. This was repeated on Wednesday and today, Thursday.
All were pleasant and helpful and IU have NO hesitation in recommending the firm and its workforce.

The whole process from start to finish was very well planned and everything happened on the day they said it would.
The lads doing the fitting were excellent. Polite, worked hard and knew exactly what they were doing and they were tidy. Great job well done.

Excellent service from start to finish, despite some challenges with the way our roof tiles are attached.
The York team were great. They did everything when they said they would and managed the installation very well. Costs were as quoted with no hidden extras. We are very happy with our solar and battery installation and have already recommended their services to others.

Mother and father in law have just had solar panels and batteries fitted. They are so pleased, the workmen are lovely, very polite, tidy workers who have done a very professional job. Visited my home to make the assessment, no other company did. Assessor was very thorough. Installation was quick and efficient. Staff worked hard and resolved any problems that arose with good humour and tenacity.

We write to thank you and your team for such an efficient and professional service. We are very pleased with our new heating system. You have an amazing team, Antwanette and Emily in the office – efficient, responsive, knowledgeable and friendly at all times. Matthew Cowley – don’t know what we would have done without him he has been a true ambassador for Green Building Renewables. Additionally, he has been there with us every step of the way, always available and responsive to any queries we had. The rest of the installation team worked so hard to ensure that the installation was completed by Friday last week.

It is so refreshing (given we have faced so many difficulties following our flood in December 2020) to work with a company who has always delivered on time and work so well together as one team, and keeping us up to date with progress and communicating exactly what is happening. After many delays with other companies associated with the flood we experienced; we were able to request the heat pump installation for late 2021. You worked with us and accommodated our needs excellently given the problems we had been facing.

Our home has now been fully reinstated and redecorated. The air source heat pump system is doing its job perfectly - what a difference from oil fired heating!

Company was recommended by friends and they lived upto our expectations - responded quickly with a site visit, panels were fitted within weeks of accepting the quote.

Work was carried out and completed within the day by a polite and really helpful team.

Excellent communications throughout a long lead time for a Tesla Powerwall and Gateway installation to complement the already installed solar PV. Engineers arrived as planned and did a very professional job during the install and commissioning. They were able to answer all my questions and always asked my opinion on siting of items prior to final fixing. They also did a very thorough job of tidying up before they left. Would definitely recommend.

We had a problem with our 12 year old solar PV system last August, essentially it stopped working.
A friend suggested Green Building Renewables in Dunnington York as the original installer had ceased trading. An engineer came out the next day and fixed the problem. Subsequently we had a replacement inverter, a new hybrid inverter and batteries fitted. The engineers came when they said they would, did the job and left the place looking clean neat and tidy. Subsequently we had a problem with the original system (a faulty connection) and Green Building Renewables came out the following day and fixed the problem at a very reasonable cost. We are now back generating and storing electricity and are very happy with the company and would thoroughly recommend them
