My experience with Greenline was…

My experience with Greenline was excellent. I took the 757 from Brent Cross to Luton AirPort. The coach was a few minutes late but the driver was very polite and professional. The ride was smooth as silk. Thanks Greenline!

Coach didn’t show up

Waited at said pick up location 15 minutes before due time. Another 2 ladies joined also. They had a printed ticket with location confirmation, we had it on a text message. Called the office number 20 minutes in to waiting as no sign of coach. Spoke to a gentleman who quizzed me with questions then advised he would give me a call back once he’s been able to locate the driver. Another 15 minutes went by and no call back. Called again and was reassured he was struggling to get hold of the ‘transport manager’ and hadn’t forgotten about me. Another 20 minutes or so went by, no sign of the coach and received a call from a lady from the office this time who quizzed me with the same questions and repeatedly stated they can’t get hold of the transport manager and they haven’t got the contact number for the coach driver!!
We got a call back from the gentleman who stated he had checked the drivers system and the driver had confirmed he attended the pick up point meaning we had missed the coach and we weren’t even there, claiming we were liars. I asked if this was the case how come in first instance you had offered to reimburse a full refund?!
We again spoke with the lady, we asked if there was any chance alternative transport could be arranged, she kept saying that isn’t a decision that she should or could make. Unfortunately when booking, the transport fee and the ticket fee to the venue are all rolled into one. We didn’t wish to risk being able to get there but not be presented with an entry ticket and potentially be turned away.
Refund underway and vouchers ‘for good will’ have been granted. It’s a shame these vouchers won’t be put to use as I wouldn’t trust this company again. Ruined our whole day to just get told ‘I can understand this is an inconvenience’.

Awful

Awful. The staff is rude and they hiked their prices on BOXING day because there were no train in order to profit from people being stranded. Disgusting.

We bought tickets to get from London…

We bought tickets to get from London Luton Airport to London via Internet.
When we arrived there we sat in line, but îndoit tubatley the bus left without us, because an emplyee sold more Tickets than there were sita avalabile🙃
So we had to wait outside to get to London with another bus.

How the company treats potential customers

As a member of a group scheduled for a 5 day trip to the Esplanade in Scaraborough. I was horrified and devastated that my holiday was cancelled 3 days before the start of the trip because of a rooming blunder by Green line coaches. Devastating!!!

Be very careful about any declined…

Stay tuned about any declined payment, be careful when making a payment by Visa card directly on the bus. I made 2 payments which resulted in a decline, then I made a third which was accepted. Later I went to check my bank account where I noticed that the decline transactions were also charged..I sent emails with receipts and proof of that payments , the Green Line didn't respond, I had to open a dispute through my bank. Always check the payments you make with your card....

Racist coach drivers

Racist coach drivers. Driver/manager manning the K bus bay at Luton Airport said I couldn't buy a hip-hop ticket on the coach but allowed the driver to sell one to someone else within the next few minutes! When confronted by an acquaintance on the coach, who had seen me refused but someone else accepted, the driver rambled unintelligibly.

Covert racism at its best!

Amazing coach comany

This coach company is absolutely amazing 🤩 I went to Eastbourne in August with my sister. It was the first time we had travelled with them, Our driver Pete was fantastic. He went above and beyond to help people. The coach was immaculate and very comfortable. Will definitely travel with them again. Thank you Greenline.

The Manager is disrespectful.
They're thieves..they stole from me a whole 1500. I spoke to the manager who the most arrogant person I've ever met. He judged me by age and said that the young generation is spoilt and did not refund my money do I had to leave the bus station...leave my money and pay at another bus station.!!!

Green line 757 LUTON AEROPORT-VICTORIA-LUTON Drivers rude aggressive and unprofessional. shame

The green line 757 drivers are unprofessional, arrogant, ill-mannered and careless, they behave very badly and do what they want. they stop when they want where they want they don't respect timetables they don't respect the stops. no control on the part of the state and the municipality or whoever is in charge of LutonInside. In the buses there are no rules, the passengers who get on first occupy the chairs full of luggage and bags and lie down to sleep. no one intervenes from the staff to tell them to only occupy one place because people have to sit. we pay money to have comfort and transport, normally we are in 2024. we don't pay to be treated in an arrogant, aggressive and offensive manner by drivers like animals. bad service. . really crap service from the drivers. this evening bus number 757 which arrives at 7.10pm at luton airport from victoria, did not even stop at the HOLYDAY INN stop,( one stop before luton airport). he didn't even ask if there was anyone who needed to come down here. we were standing near the door of the bus to get off. he didn't stop and went straight to the airport. This evening it was raining as well and we then had to walk from the airport to get home. and a service with disgusting drivers, animals of unprofessional education, culture and behavior. This line sucks. we pay money to be treated like slaves. se era possibile darei - 5 stelle.

One of the owners drove us to and from Gatwick airport very polite and couldn’t do enough to help.The car was clean and to a high spec.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service to anyone needing long distance driving and the price was good

Rudest staff I have ever experienced

I can't believe how rude the member of staff was at Luton Airport (evening of 25 June, older Asian man) to his customers. Utter contempt shown to anyone with a question - this man clearly hates people and is in the wrong job. I was genuinely shocked by what I saw and really embarrassed to think this is what visitors to our country can expect. Shocking. Serious investment in customer service training needed.

Big thieves and they don't accept bankcards

When I got in England they couldn't accept my card from the Netherlands and it costed me 15 euros more because I needed to get cash from a ATM, know I'm going back missed the bus and needed to go again to a ATM to get cash and it costed me 20 euros more... never again will I ever come to England or drive with the Greenline, they are big thieves and really brutal.😡🤬

I had the most stressful

I had the most stressful, agonising and emotional morning of my life. I had an extremely important Court Hearing in Luton at 11am,

Arrived 2 hours prior to my departure just for a good measure.
London Victoria - Luton was my destination. The bus arrives 15 mins late (07:50am instead of the original ETA 07:41am), upon arrival, informed by the driver, “mate that’s National Express and this is Greenline” I feel quite stupid, so I apologised and hoped off

After few moments of scratching my head, it find out that I was in fact right and had just missed my bus.

I bought the ticket from National Express and informed that it was with a third party operator: GREENLINE.

Searched for a new ticket on the National Express, but the earliest alternative coach was 11am - 1pm. At this point, my entire head is spinning, stomache churning and a wee of disorientated when it dawned on me that I’d miss my court hearing and potentially face imprisonment. I tried to get in contact with their customer service, but it is completely useless.

By the grace of the Higher Up (God), I was able to plea my case to the next Greenline (757 time: 02/05/2024 08:35) and he was very understanding and let me hop onto his coach.

So, so close to losing everything because of this unscrupulous Coach operating Co.
