THE BEST BUS JOURNEY IN LUTON TOWN EVER
28th June, 2.40pm, travelling from Church Street to Farley Hill, I have experienced an amazing time travelling with the most caring, respectful and gentle bus driver I have ever met in Luton Town. He deserves 5 stars as he had the patience to come ou the bus to help every mum with a pushchair or anyone on a wheelchair, and the same coming out. We was organizing everyone inside, making sure every back place was occupied before people start standing. With a big smile and very careful driving, he made it a special journey. Thank you.
PLEASE READ! Pathetic ‘service’, Greenline are scammers and will make you miss your flight!
Please anyone who needs to get to Luton airport from London (Finchley road) NEVER use green line! This happened July 3rd 2022 on the 757/755 bus.
They force you to use a pathetic app to ‘pre-book’ a ticket that in no ways guarantees you a seat on a bus that has available seats because of their illogical ‘first come first serve’ scam. Which goes against offering pre-booked tickets and makes zero sense for an overpopulated city and a highly trafficked airport route.
We pre-booked two tickets hours in advance for Finchley rd to Luton and waited for the bus to come and it ended up being a nightmare.
There was a mad rush and free for all as people shoved to the front. The bus driver didn’t call for prebook tickets first (like someone with common sense would and as national express and other coach services do!!!) and instead started to sell tickets to people who had just turned up to the stop 5 minutes prior. There was initially 12 seats and because of this POS driver and his idiocy that left four people with prebooked and activated tickets unable to get on the bus.
Activated tickets are also a bloody scam, they don’t explain it but if you activate your ticket thinking you’ll get a pdf/e ticket it’s actually QR ticket that has a 2 hour timer on it and also can’t be screenshotted. If the timer runs out you can’t get another bus so you are screwed.
The POS driver was aggressive and didn’t give a damn that his stupid and avoidable actions screwed over at least four people all trying to catch flights. He refused to refund the people who just bought tickets in the moment and allowed them on infront of us.
He said to ‘just get the next bus’ like the ignorant dumbass he was because 1) the next bus was in a hour 2) his bus was already late so this ‘next bus’ could in theory be just as late too 3) the next bus could have an equally as dumb driver who would again not ask for tickets first but sell tickets to anyone walking down the street and we wouldn’t get on that bus either!
What followed was the bus driver calling the police on us (Like I said he was illogical) shouting at us and calling his brother on the phone to ‘help’ him and other male passengers (who conveniently paid for a ticket in the moment) shouting at us and trying to physically assault one of the female passengers who had been standing at the doorway of the bus (who prebooked but couldn’t get get on).
The four of us (prebooked ticket holders) ended up having to share a taxi and pay an extortion amount of money on top of the bus tickets we actually bought. Imagine if you were on your own and had to pay for a taxi on top of that £11.50 scam bus ticket.
When we got in the taxi (after the bus driver had loaded and closed the doors on us while being on the phone the rest of the time after shouting at us) and like an absolute psychopath the bus driver then proceeded to tailgate our taxi, blast his horn and then overtake and drive on the middle of the white line over the lane our taxi was in and trying to stop our taxi from being to drive/run us off the road?
We ended up getting to Luton airport and getting through to our gate with 20 minutes to spare. We were so close to missing our flight and it was incredibly busy in security. The Scottish lady who prebooked a ticket and shared our taxi would have missed her flight if it hadn’t have been delayed which she found out as we got out in the airport carpark. The other gentleman who also got our taxi recorded the entire situation and we were all very distressed and shaken by the incident.
Please never use green line aka scam line because they care about money not about you and have messed up policies on their site to try to get away with screwing over people to avoid giving refunds and punishing people who try to plan in advance.
I hope this helps and saves people from having to go through someone equally as awful as what I did. Please please do not use this coach service.
Absolutely disgusting service…. First and last time I’ll use it!
Used the 757 green line service from St Albans Bricket wood for the first time yesterday 26/05/22 . Waited for the 10.30 coach, we had tickets for Kensington palace at 12.00 and thought we had allowed plenty of time, the coach didn’t turn up, there was nothing to tell us on the app, so we had to wait another hour for the next one. Were quite worried that there would be 2 seats for us. It tuned up 5 mins late and fortunately there were a few vacant seats. Got to the palace late & luckily they let us in 75
Mins late!
When we waited to get the 17.09 coach home at The Allsop Arms in London, it was 25 mins late I appreciate that the traffic isn’t always light but all I seemed to do was wait for coaches, ruined a perfectly nice day. Will never go by coach again, give me the train to Euston every time!
Angry
I took the bus from Victoria station to Legoland at 8:30 am. 1 adult and two children paid £ 31. if I would have gone by train it cost me much less. i looked on their website the prices were different not happy i asked the driver why he charged me so much and he said it depends on the time. but this is not written anywhere.
One star is too good for them.
One star is too good for them.
I just missed a Half Marathon I had been training hard for for several months because the bus (the very first service of the day) simply didn't turn up. There were several people at the stop as confused as I was checking on their phones trying to figure out where the Hell the bus was. The website is rubbish. The app is useless. What's wrong with this people?
Miss behave drivers
The bus services is good. It some drivers are senseless, I have a experience of two drivers while I was travelling from London to Luton. Drivers no. 179133 and 179048. They really don’t know how to respect women. Very disappointing.
Shouting on me the driver
I ve waiting for the bus 702 17:39 from Kensington Station d which you never gonna find with GPS not even on their website its 100 m away walk which you can't see anything ,I have to run because I see the bus coming, at the end I get in the bus .and the driver shouting on me because I didn't new yo scan the ticket correctly and because he was scanning 5 seconds the ticket for me he was very angry ...very bad experience not recommended this green lane .
AVOID at all costs.
AVOID at all costs.
Don't think you're saving money by using this operator, you will be losing more by missing you're flight if you're going to the airport.
I'm typing this review in the undrgound on my way to the railway station, hoping I won't miss my flight because the Greenline coach just didn't turn up.
If you want unreliable coaches, non-existent feedback, and useless operator altogether, then you have got yourself that with Greenline coaches.
Airport websites should be fined for having a link to this scam operator.
Very nasty drivers work’s for…
Very nasty drivers work’s for (GreenLine ) Arriva company
I bought a ticket to luton airport on line and I downloaded there useless app
I was at the nominated bus stop U Lyndale at 16:20 on the 19th/May around 5 hours before my schedule departure . The first 757 bus came to the stop was at 17:42 , although I sign for him to stop but he just drove passed me opening his both arms like I was not fast enough . never seen driver hated his job like him .More over there app so confusing and an acquired. it tells you the next bus are coming in 10,20,30 min but nothing comes and you have to keep waiting , in addition the timetable on the bus lamp are also the same . and what really made my journey from hell is there pathetic costumer service phone line is close at 5pm so I could not ask anyone
The website gives you fails information, and what makes the situation worse , some drivers follow their own time table . very unprofessional and careless .
Another driver was on Bus 755 from the same company, I stopped him by mistake due to the panic I went through .he was descent he picked me up and drove me to the next stop (Brent cross ) as it has better view and bigger chance for the next 757 bus will stop there . he advised me the next bus will come in 20 min. I end up waiting for 55 min .
Finally I got in to the last one at 19:25 after I lost hope that I will make it before my airplane departure at 9pm.
So consider yourself lucky if the next driver coming to pick you has some principle and thinks about passengers that it could be essential for them to take that ride on time.
I was using the national express for years , I never had any trouble before , just now the service was not running so I had to fine another alternative rout which is Green Line and it will be the last ever .If you don’t want to miss your trip and be on time
If you like the coach service to be reliable and have a clear website it tells you the correct time for the next coming bus on their app , just do yourself a favor and never use greenline
Best service between Luton Airport and…
Best service between Luton Airport and London!
6 STARS !
No Bus and solution was to wait 6 hours in a different location
I booked a bus trip for June 6 after midnight from Luton airport to Central London and when I arrived to Luton airport there was no bus. Only a paper saying to go to Central Luton and then take a bus from there to Central London at 6pm. When I request my money back and money to pay the taxi, they said they had information on their website and they were no paying anything. They provided a replacement. To wait 6 hours in the cold? Do they know what's the email is for?
My worst experience ever making connections to London airports with a bus company. I have hundreds of these trips.
Take other bus company or the train. The customer service is worst I have ever experienced!
scammers
living in London tier 4, we were forced to cancel our airport transfer made thru these scammers, via easy bus
when we went online to cancel, our booking was registered as "completed" although we never took a bus to the airport and London being in tier 4, probably the bus didn't even run to the airport.
so we coudn't claim any refund.
we tried to contact customer service but no reply, just an online form without any reference number or proof that you ever contacted them!
also, even you decide to cancel, the cancellation fee is 50%!! and it's no actual refund just a credit note for future trips.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience, as a resident this is not the service we should get. I sat from luton the driver allows with a student BRP and from london inspite of having the tickets they don’t allow and took £12 for the journey which I already paid for. It’s disgusting to travel like this. Miss understanding between drivers are a big issue in this coaches. I would recommend National Express instead of this. If you are travelling from Luton to London or vice versa.

I had a booking by Wizz and it asked my to buy bus transport to Luton I have paid on site and I got e-ticket with my name in the early morning when show my ticket the driver was dump and not speaking English and he did not biking list so I paid twice as he charge me £24 for two people I think you should get ticket fro national express at list that don’t charge twice. Re: Asadi Tajabadi, Shahriar G81PPY.
worse than useless.
i buy a weekly ticket every week. i pay over £3,500 a year to these muppets. and now i can't ge the app to work. i called at 6am this morning only to be told to call back later. when i need to speak to someone there is no contact number for 757. i can't get technical help for the app and i am not paying them cash to get back home. they really are worse than usless.

PHOTO OF DRIVER ABOVE!!!
Some drivers very rude
Terrible website. Hard to find what we are actually looking for. And some drivers are very rude to customers and not even listening to us. I have travelled many times with Greenline and this time I had a worst experiance with the driver and my overall rating is very poor.
Terrible website, charged but no tickets!
The website is horrendous, I first had to call up to confirm my ticket was valid in a certain direction, as only the reverse direction is listed on the website.
Then I booked that journey, was charged, but no tickets were sent.
UPDATE - A week and a half later I'm still waiting for any update as to what happened to my money, very disappointed.
Wrong bus stand but good experience
Bus didn't arrive to Stand E so I had to ask in other Stand If I can join, everything else is good.
