Disgraceful

Disgraceful. We visited the Warrington site on 31/8/21. The place is filthy, the toilets are probably the worst I’ve ever seen. This is in desperate need of investment and refurbishment. I can’t believe how dirty and run down this place was. Miserable staff running the place. I will definitely not be paying this place a visit again.

A day ruined wasting time here.

A day ruined wasting time here.
It is dirty, not well maintained and in some cases dangerous. Staff are young and look demorilised. Reported an incident where I was injured and little one hurt response was poor. Reported again on leaving and attitude from a supervisor was appalling , no care or concern for the situation.
Impossible to get a hold of but hopefully the local authorities will have more luck.
It is clear that there are serious issues with staff. Rides kept stopping while in use, staff member panicking as young and noone came to her aid, pressing lots of buttons seemed to do the job in the end.
It could be a great place if there seemed to be any care for it. Management is clearly lacking. One ride had live wires out of ceiling and not appropriately protected and a huge leak in the ceiling next to them.
Apparently staff on the ride had reported it many times and nothing had been done not even a basic mop up or wet floor signs, little one slipped on the floor but didn't get hurt as had his hand.
It was very unsafe during that queuing process being indoors for that ride.
Even had non pat tested plugs in sockets easily unplugged by a child and next to a pool of water!
Spend a few quid more and go to Alton towers as the cost difference is minimal.
A day we all looked forward to was very much spoiled by the state of this place and the owners should be ashamed but by tye look of the place doubt they even care

Really bad

Really bad, not poor but really really bad. Not exactly a cheap day out for a family and the place is the absolute pits. Toilets are frequent but disgusting, definitely not Covid compliant as queues were in areas over an hour for a 2min ride with absolutely zero social distancing or masks compulsory.
Cannot comment on food as took our own but all rides and attractions are seriously questionable, not a glimmer of health and safety all staff teenagers.
Electric wiring exposed in a wet water ride cabin, shambles. Honestly the place should be closed down.
Either inject a serious amount of cash, train good quality staff and do it right or don't bother

Dirty, poor staffing level, queue due to staffing level

Dirty, Bad smell near ice cream unit, poor staffing level, one staff in each ride (feel sorry for them), means he/she is responsible for everything, before ride, checking, finishing, walking from one end to another end to letting inn & out to all riders, NO HEALTH AND SAFETY in place, staff has to close the ride to go to toilet, it’s great there is an opportunity for youngsters (16 years old), but how come 16 year old is own his own as an operator fully responsible for everything including H&S....I did not feel safe for my kids to go to some rides due to young operators (16 years old operators), (I asked them their age because they looks soo young)…..
*You seems to be busy in each ride!!!No you are not, you guys are lacking of Staff and there is no productivity or resilience from your team and it’s not their fault, get more staff inn please….

Absolutely ridiculous… went to the one…

Absolutely ridiculous… went to the one in Warrington, paid almost £150 for 3 adults and 4 children, only to see minimal rides, the lines were over an hour long, litter around, some food places shut very early, long wait times for food to, went in the gully’s grill and only seen one person happy to be there the rest looked miserable, someone washing pots with hair down,
Honestly not worth the money and honestly wouldn’t recommend to anyone as there is so much better around for cheaper
Completely overrated

Disappointed

Took grandchildren to the dinosaur park in Milton Keynes. Staff had bad attitude 1 clearly hates his job that much he seemed to get pleasure from upsetting my 2yr old autistic grandchild as that is the only time he cracked a smile. Paying £2.95 for 1 lousy scoop of ice cream is bad enough then being told lactose free ice cream is extra I wasn’t aware that it was acceptable to penalise people for having allergies.

The staff were very friendly and…

The staff were very friendly and helpful however I felt the staff at Warrington were over worked. I genuinely felt sorry for them. there was only one staff member serving breakfast . Dinner and tea.
They did not catere for vegetarian or vegan and this would stop me visiting the hotel and park as I could not eat anything but chips.
The Breakfast was terrible.
The food in general was diabolical.

Customer Service is terrible

Customer Service is terrible! Alison to coin a phrase " well if you let me finish and speak!" in particular from head office or sat on her phone more like! Do not use kids pass for any discounts only saved £12 to be told can not cater for a party of 3 as booked up but you can pay full price and still get in!, do not try to reason with these people as they do not care and are still using Covid as an excuse after sitting on their back sides being paid for over a year! "its on the website if you read it" I was told, guess what Einstein its not on Gulliver's or kids pass that you are using all those passes that were booked before the pandemic! I would not mind but I am trying to book for August! and these fools are running family entertainment! joke!
Only 1 star because you can not leave a zero, wait until your kids are taller I say.

Absolute rubbish places to visit

Absolute rubbish places to visit. More parks than rides. Rides last about 20 seconds. Took my 8 year old daughter and she was bored after 1 hour. Total waste of money and time. Over priced food and drinks. Off to Blackpool to have a better time. Wish it was possible to give 0 stars. The ridesare like hand me downs from closed down theme parks. They need 2 spend some money on this run down place

Don't bother with the hotel, just do Gulliver's world

On Sunday we arrived and got wrist bands to go to Gulliver's World. Lots of rides were closed, those that were open let customers down by saying they had to close to go for lunch.
We went to the hotel with 2yr old and 8 yr old to be told to go upstairs, but the lift didn't work and tired 2 yr old was in his pushchair.
We were shown a route around to get upstairs to find our room was actually downstairs. Finally in the room off for dinner.
Service took for ever and the choice was burger or pizza.
Room was actually quite nice, we had a pirate themed room.
Most TV channels reception was too poor to watch.
In the morning the only breakfast is sausage or bacon bitty.
Needless to say our boys don't eat that.
Second day at the park was brilliant, Al rides open and good service..
Pity the hotel is the pits.

Gullivers Meadows campsite

This applies to the campsite. This site needs new staff, in particular a new warden. From the start, the unbelievably rude and short tempered warden made our arrival the most unpleasant unwelcoming experience we have ever had at a campsite. As a group of 9 caravans and tents, we experienced constantly changing site rules that made sticking to them incredibly difficult, a rude warden that actually made one of our group cry (an adult). The bank holiday caused the warden a lot of problems, but don't take them out on the people that pay your wages! Problems with the site included lack of toilet paper, dishwashing area with no light bulb (problem washing up after dinner), locks missing from toilets and showers that were mostly cold. All of this would be forgivable if it wasn't for the warden who treated us like dirt. After a long time unable to take a holiday, the customer service here was nil and was not what we needed for our highly anticipated first group rally. We have stayed here as a group before but agreed that we can't go back.

UPDATE 16/07: To make matters worse, I received an email from Darren, the Hospitality Manager of Gullivers fun which despite me sending 5 replies to I have not heard a thing.

His email :
"I have been tasked to undertake a full investigation that covers the feedback that you submitted.
Can you please supply me a contact number a good time for me to give you a call.".

So not only was my camping experience bad, but there has been further aggravation and time wasting caused by their 'follow up' and lack of action.

Impossible to contact these people.

Made a booking. Needed to contact someone to change the booking. Rang multiple times - sat through the same 3 minutes of music before being asked to leave a message, but couldn't because their mail box was full. Sent messages via website also go no reply. Perhaps they'll notice this?

Worth visiting…

It's so useful going to a kids theme park when the weather isn't absolutely perfect. Infact, I recommend it. I went to Gulliver's Kingdom, Matlock.👌🏾 I was my first time there. It's was really clean, staff were friendly, and all the rides were accessible for me and my 7 year old. I don't know what anybody else thought about the place, but this was just me honest experience 🤷🏾‍♂️
During the rain the rides stay open, so there was hardly any queuing, and you get to cover the whole place.
It's worth a look. They have theme parks scattered about. Pay once, then everything in there is free. They even have dodgem cars. And they design it that parents to can join the kids on the rides too (or think of an elaborate excuse why you can't, like for some of the rides she went on alone 😆).
But be warned. They said I was very lucky. In good weather they said some of the rides I went on would of been a hours wait. Also fortunately, 50 percent of the activities are undercover. Also when going on rides (not when walking about) kids are required to wear masks.

Litter litter everywhere!🤮

Queues were not too bad. Kids got a long time on the rides but not sure if that was a good or bad thing as makes queues take longer
The main thing that stood out to me was the amount of litter everywhere. Can’t completely blame Gullivers for this. There were plenty of bins everywhere but unfortunately the place was full of lazy scruffy people who couldn’t be bothered to use them. Still, Gullivers could have had a few staff tidying up after these tramps.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Children over 3 expected to wear face masks, they don't even have to wear them in school so why is Gulliver's any different?!

We had to queue for half hour to get in, fair enough I can deal with that. However on entry, it was clear that there were no social distancing measures in place, the place was rammed!!!! If you didn't have you're own sanitiser on you then you are knackered, no sanitiser in their stations, toilets are an absolute disgrace, no soap, loo rolls etc.

6 of the rides were not working, so if you have younger children like us, then be cautious, there was only a handful they could go on, even then though the queues were horrendous, 20 to 30 minutes to go on a ride for the sake of a minute or 2.

I would highly recommend taking you're own food too, again a nice 20 to 30 min wait for food only to be told they have run out of food, the slushes that we ordered were not even frozen properly and my 5 year olds daughter, who's birthday it was, ended up with a big spider in her slush, absolutely disgusting, staff was not bothered, couldn't offer a replacement as they had ran out of slush bottles, couldn't give me refund without waiting for a manager, never got the money back as we gave up waiting.

The staff are seriously miserable, didn't speak a word to us. I understand it might be a difficult job, but it isn't hard to at least smile is it!?

The place is an eyesore, the whole place needs doing up, I remember going as a kid and it was all so magical, the people, the place and the rides, not anymore.

For the sake of £80 - it isn't cheap! Not to go on a handful rides and not come across anyone smiling either!

I have sent a complaint through you're online platform but surprise surprise you haven't acknowledged it never mind replied. Going by these comments it looks as though you won't ever reply. So much for customer services, something needs to be done about that, money grabbing monsters.

Until I hear back from you I'll not visit and I will be sure to tell as many people about our shocking experience as possible.

Absolute disgrace that this company are…

Absolute disgrace that this company are requiring children to wear face masks. No scientific papers have ever been produced on face coverings preventing transmission. Draconian measures such as this are not only physically harmful but psychologicaly traumatic on our children. A face covering is a medical intervention one of wich should never be forced on people especially children. Businesses such as these need to understand that they are complicit in putting the health and wellbeing of children at risk.

Genuinely disgusted

Absolutely horrendous experience. Not covid secure at all. The place was beyond filthy and run down. So disappointed with the entire experience and would never return.
If you don't want COVID, then I wouldn't go there. Breeding ground for COVID and misery.

Dirty and definitely NOT covid secure!

Dirty. Unsafe! Went yesterday and felt really unsafe. No regular hand sanitizer stations. Food areas disgusting. Tables were not being wiped down. Food was cold and the burger I had appeared to have been reheated. Staff were not very knowledgeable and although I welcome covid secure businesses being open this is NOT one of them!
