Tom at Gym Equipment Superstore made all of the difference to my experience shopping with the company.
The item I bought was on back-order but Tom communicated this to me clearly from the start, along with the ETA and when shipping from the EU had been undertaken etc.
I experienced a few issues with my order, but Tom always responded promptly and was very reasonable and supportive. I felt he genuinely cared about my transaction with the company and was keeping on top of things the best he could.

While my experience was not 100% “smooth”, I cannot fault anyone involved for this — they were unfortunate and often unavoidable logistical issues, and everyone from Gym Equipment Superstore (including their technician who undertook install for me) were so accommodating and seemed to be working hard. So, overall, I am very happy :)

I ordered the DS913 Home Gym and I am delighted with it. The whole experience was hassle free and a big thanks to Tom for all his help. I did pay to have someone build the gym and have no regrets about this ( money well spent )

I purchased a Nordictrack Commerical 2950 Treadmill during lockdown around Feb 2020 and like all equipment it was delayed as expected but Gym Equipment gave me regular updates on the delivery date. I paid for installation service which was great highly recommended. Unfortunately this machine packed up and I called Tom at Gym Equipment who quickly spoke to Nordictrack about a replacement for me. Unfortunately Nordic nor Gym Equipment had stock to swap like for like so I upgraded to Nordictrack X32i wow what a great machine. Tom at Gym Equipment has been brilliant over the past few weeks arranging the replacement, he pushed through the collection of the broken unit and arranged the replacement very quickly and kept me updated. Personally I cannot fault them I have had great service. I think we have to accept in post Brexit times it's not always possible to get items in quick times like before and sometimes we have to work with the companies to resolve our issues. I am very pleased with my new X32i highly recommended and whilst my machine broke I have upgraded to a better machine and so glad I did, I use my machine everyday cant wait to explore the world each day on my runs. The service and communications from Tom has been great. I would buy from Gym Equipment without hesitation.

Excellent customer service and very quick delivery. Arranged for different payment type to avoid unnecessary delivery charge that the website was showing. The spin bike is great quality and well worth the money.

Very impressed from first putting the order in, the updates, the delivery times and the man who erected the equipment for me. Will definitely buy more from them in the future.

I just wanted to set record straight after some of the poor reviews below. It may be that earlier on GymEquipment Superstore hadn't established communications about their delivery times.

My own experience was that they were really helpful, gave regular updates on timing, returned calls and were very polite on the phone.

They are shipping from Europe, with all the supply chain problems that we are aware of, but within those constraints were great.

In the end, I had to cancel my order shortly before it was due to be delivered - for reasons that were nothing to do with the service provided, but related to my own personal circumstances. This was also handed promptly and efficiently, with no fuss.

Ordered online over 4k, was told the 2 items are not in stock despite being advertised on the website.... and the funds being taken from my account. A replacement was offered, this did not arrive. It has now been 3 weeks, I am chasing daily and keep being told this will be shipped. The email address clearly is not based in the UK despite the company claiming to be based here. This appears to just be a website for shipping goods from overseas.

Service was great and product was brand new. I should have got the more expensive model of the rebook treadmill as the model I got has some annoying features you only find out after using the machine - but not serious enough to go through the hassle of swapping. Regardless service has been good.

Problems with this company since I purchased a treadmill from them. Late delivery, not answering to emails, passing the blame for the broken treadmill to the manufacturer and put me as their customer to chase the manufacturer. Tried to put a former complaint towards the company and a guy...apparently the UK manager for the company is not even bother to answer to email.
I would avoid this company at all costs.

From order to delivery 1st class service, would certainly use again.

Delivery didn’t come on the day stated. Delivery men made a fuss about carrying the treadmill to the shed although I am a woman on my own. And then had to wait two weeks for the technician to come and put it together. Also, emailed about the free mat that was supposed to come with it and never got a response.

Well - this appears to be my second review as my first one has been deleted - says it all.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I went through my credit card company to get my £1.6K back for the powercage that never arrived.

Funnily enough, once I'd pursued the claim having waited 2 months after the delivery date I was given (so 5 months in total), I was told it was ready for delivery.

A little too convenient after unanswered emails, contact forms completed and all the phone lines being taken down.

Please save yourself the hassle and order from a legitimate company. We've all done these reviews for a reason.

There is no excuse for taking people's money and not communicating.

So, I ordered this product and the delivery person (Dachser) called me to tell me that these guys gave them the wrong postcode and that the delivery wouldn't happen when it was scheduled. Then the next week on Monday I was called again by the delivery company to tell me that the delivery would be happening that day. Then they called me to tell me they had the wrong postcode AGAIN! Mind you I already called these guys to tell them about the postcode issue and was told by them that they had emailed Dachser to make sure they knew the correct postcode. Clearly this never happened. At the same time, my gf ordered a similar product off of Amazon for half the price and got it delivered no problem within just 2 days. If you are going to outsource the logistics, then you need to select a provider that is competent. In this day and age, this level of ineptitude is unacceptable. If this continues I am simply going to have my credit card company contest this entire purchase.

I had an excellent experience with Gym equipment superstore. I placed my order on the 8th April 2021.
On the 12th April I was contacted by them to let me know that my order was in their warehouse ready to be dispatched. They warned me that the delivery date could be up to 25 working days (which was visible on the website when I ordered) but that 2 weeks was their current average. Then on the 13th april I received an email from the shipment company dachser to let me know it had been shipped and from this point I could track my order. I received my order today, the 20th April so within 8 working days on my order.

I truly believe that the low ratings/poor service received from other customers is largely due to problems they have experienced due to COVID and Brexit. Although I appreciate that I may have been unique case! At the very least, I think the claims its a scam company are extreme.

If I could give no stars I would. Ordered treadmill 14th Feb which was delivered 19th March. Unpacked the treadmill and built it. Went to plug it in and noticed the plug does not fit UK mains which is odd when I ordered it from a .Co.uk website. Been requesting since someone comes and collects. To date nothing. Thankfully paid on credit credit. Beware of these guys.....

I was worried about the negative reviews here, but we got our treadmill today, (was offered Friday 5th March by the courier).

This company is not a scam company, but seems their delivery times to the UK are longer due to the UK leaving the EU and causing hold-ups from Spain. We ordered 31st January, so lead times for us was about 5 weeks. The treadmill was easy to put together, but weighed a tonne, so in hindsight I may have opted for installation, just to get it to the room we wanted it in.

Also, the plug is for EU and not UK, so you'll need to buy an adapter, think this should have been provided, personally.

I bought a treadmill from gymequipmentsuperstore.co.uk and subsequently read these reviews, which terrified me. I wrote to the company and they replied within a day with when I would receive the equipment. They also followed this up with a telephone call and then the courier texted me for a delivery day. I am pleased to say it arrived sooner than they said and the treadmill is the model I ordered. Absolutely no problems and delighted with the service and product.
