Poor returns policy
The company has a 2 weeks return policy which is much shorter than most retailers. When I sent my product back 3 weeks later I was told I will not be getting my money back and the company will send my door handle to be recycled with a local metal company and proceeds will be donated. Why on earth will they be creating more carbon footprint and recycling a product which I returned unused 1 week after their fictitious returns deadline I would not know. I try supporting small businesses online where I can but this company's returns policy makes it difficult to support them and I will not be using them again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. Our returns policy was based on distance selling rules which was in line with many of our competitors. We are a family-run company and cannot afford to take back products after a specified time and still offer keen prices.
I apologise this was not in your favour, even though it is clearly stated on the website. We have taken your comments into consideration and have altered our returns policy online without affecting our service. We hope this will help customers such as yourself have a better experience in our company.
When a product has been sent to us outside our terms, it would be unethical for us to sell it to another customer and profit from it twice. Similarly, we can't afford for the product to sit on the shelf for a year or more before it gets sold again, since, as you can appreciate, handles and knobs are very specialised and do not turnover as quickly as other products.
The local metal company have an agreement with us and will take on any brass/steel from unwanted or old handles, and the money we get from that is donated to our charity partner: Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. We believe this is the best and most ethical way to dispose of products that do not belong to us.

Many thanks for the update, it is appreciated. Thank you for the offer of sending the 338mm version. I have sent the 98mm handle back in the post so that should be with you soon. Can I please ask that the 338mm steel version is sent and not the satin nickel version as I ordered. I have looked at the 98mm one you sent, which is steel, and it matches the handles that are in place; (so I have actually ordered the wrong item as well as it being the wrong size!!!). Many thanks. I don't know if you are notified of this update but I'll send an email as well, just in case. Happy New Year.
I ordered a Fingertip Design 338mm curved cupboard handle in satin nickel (FTD450F-SN) and I have received a FTD 10mm BOW handle 96mm in steel (FTD450ASN). Lol

Great products but new website rubbish…
Great products but new website proving troublesome. Credit cards not always get approval, had success on 4th attempt, after speaking to their Customer Service who said they could take the order over the phone, but couldn't get the prices inc vat to match those on the website. Agent had to go away and call me back, but never called back, so tried website again, and thankfully worked on second attempt. Bit of a shambles, but arrived eventually.
