Great hamper!
Great hamper, ordered in Italy and sent to my son to congratulate him on submitting a major piece of work at Uni in the UK.
He was delighted, enjoyed every morsel of the outstanding selection of cheese, the crisps, the pickles and the pate, and loved the bottle of champagne of course! Packed and presented impeccably, delivered with perfect timing.

Streamline service
It was convenient and easy to order from Canada to deliver in Scotland. I received email updates about delivery, which was great. Although the first delivery attempt was unsuccessful because the recipient wasn't home, it was delivered the next day! I received a lovely message from the recipient when she received the gift. I decided to use Handmade Hamper after reading the many excellent reviews and I'm happy with my decision!

Your delivery agent did not deliver to Tythe Barn, Addington, Buckingham MK18 2JR. They never attempted and mislead your company and myself. We have security camera evidence to prove imcompetence.
Your delivery agent did not deliver to the recipient as was requested and paid. Your delivery agent sent an updated electronic message saying the recipient wasn't home and that they would have to deliver on Tuesday. The recipient was at home and checked their security camera and your delivery agent was 100% lying!! They never attempted to deliver on the day which is disgusting. They should pay for my hamper as my friend birthday gift was deliberately not delivered!!

I am sorry you have felt the need to leave us a poor review on behalf of the delivery company before this could be rectified for the recipient. As detailed on our website the delivery date is only a preferred option and whilst ourselves and the delivery company work very hard to ensure gifts are delivered on the date requested sometimes we do encounter problems. The courier will keep you updated of this via email/text notifications.
We were in email contact with the recipient on Thursday when he advised us the delivery had not been made. Our tracking information did show the driver in the address area at 12.14 so we can only assume from this the delivery was missed. We passed on contact information for the courier so they had a telephone number. Live chat and watsapp information as they stated the contact they had as not working.
Unfortunately due to the Easter Bank Holiday this weekend the parcel had been rescheduled to be delivered on the Tuesday after Easter Monday. We did offer to arrange for the parcel to be dropped off at a local collection point so the recipient could collect over the weekend but he preferred to wait for a re-delivery attempt on the following Tuesday.

What a Rip Off!

The images, and that's what I look at were not clear to size of products. The words describe the image, but when it starts giving weights, I don't have a clue. So a picture of what looked like a large bag of popcorn, large bag of crisps, and a 'bar' of chocolate .... I went for the 'hamper'
Perfect for my mum for mother's day. Delivered to her door. What came were samples of popcorn, crisps and a freddo sized bar of fancy overpriced chocolate!! I should have gone to ocado! At Ocado the bottle of brandy would have cost £33, a large crisps, large popcorn, and large chocolate would have cost me in total about £42, and because I have paid in advance for deliveries to my home anyway, this additional delivery would have cost nothing!!! Instead I paid out more than £75, and only now that I have seen the items at my mums am I thinking iv been ripped off. If the 'nibbles' had been 'proper sized' I would not been writing this

I am sorry you felt the need to leave us a poor review instead of contacting us directly when you felt the Brandy and Nibbles Gift Box was not upto your expectations.
We definitely did not deceive you in any way or send out sample size products within the gift. The gift you selected is a smaller version of our Brandy Gift Hamper which in this hamper it does include full sized products, ie crisps at 150g - large family pack, compared to the Brandy Gift Box (your selection) which can include products like crisps at 40g - Individual sized pack.
The listing on our website gives a full description of the gift content including a photo and product weight and sizes so no confusion can be made as to the bottle size or nibbles that are dispatched. This gift also allows you to choose your own nibble selection so weights do vary as to your product choice. I feel it is very unfair to rate us a one star due to you not understanding the weights within the gift when you selected this yourself. Any misunderstanding prior to purchasing could have been easily resolved with us via a quick email.
You state that you could have purchased our gift products at your local supermarket for a smaller fee however, we try to use products that are taste award winners, gourmet or luxury so avoid the likes of Walkers crisps, Cadbury chocolate and KP nuts etc within our nibbles choice. We like our customers to feel they are receiving something luxuriously different and not standard products that can be obtained in the weekly shop. For example, the Love Cocoa chocolate you selected is a luxury chocolate range that is stocked in the likes of Selfridges and John Lewis.
The image on our website is clear and shows a full sized 70cl bottle of brandy and a sample of three nibbles you could have selected from our range.
When discussing the amount you could have paid in Ocado, you have also not taken into account the cost of the packaging, presentation box and what it costs us to make the gift for you. Our delivery fee is a standard fee we get charged from our courier for a next day service. We are unable to subsidise this fee any more than we currently do.
May I suggest for future gifts you have your shopping delivered by your free Ocado delivery and make the gift yourself to be hand delivered to the recipient. This way you can be assured you are fully aware what is included and also of the size of the products you have selected yourself.

We used Handmade Hampers to order Christmas gifts for our VIP clients ad not only were the products and hampers fantastic (great mix and quality of products) but the service was outstanding too - the team couldn't have been more helpful in terms of walking us through the best products to choose to make up bespoke hampers, and just lifted everything off us once the selections has been made including shipping and tracking.
