Great transcript service.
I had an issue with a deal I bought but they took care of it in a few weeks.
I use it for subtitling my videos and transcribing podcast interviews. I have to change minor details in the outcome.
Highly recommend it.

The most accurate translation platform I've found. As far as I know, it's not much more useful than embedding subtitles or getting translations, but it's completely accurate, and they have several types of plans and ways to use their services, whether you're paying monthly or annually. For significant accuracy needs, especially if the language isn't as common as English or Spanish, I recommend it

Super helpful service! I had a video that I didn’t have time to manually add subtitles to and this solved it for me! Happy Scribe works really well and I will use it again whenever I need subtitles!

I paid first 9$/month and it told me that i cant transcribe so i was forced to buy a 29.99$/month subscription only to find out it cant translate the subtitles it generated. It just cant really do it well. Im sitting here for 7 hours due to the stupidity of this tool and have to a) increase the length of each subtitle part by about 4/100 of a second b) it splits every single 2 word phrase that it spits out. Not good dont.

Just a few days ago I bought happy scribe video language convertor tool as I was hoping that it will convert my videos in different languages. When I saw its free trial video, a 30 sec video got converted in it. After that I tried to convert another video in another language, then I started subscribing from it. I paid 29$ and bought it for 1 month. After spending a lot of money, I converted my video in another language. There again they started charging me extra per minute. They started charging me 42$ extra for a 28 minute video. I tried several times in different languages but every time it costs extra while dubbing the video. I contacted them several times for help but I did not get any answer. I am not at all satisfied with the tool. It is fake. I will try to ensure that my $29 is lost. It should not happen to anyone else. It is fake. No one should purchase it. A waste of money. Thankfully it wasn’t much ($29) for an 25-30 min of automatic transcription but I consider it money wasted and a good learning lesson.

Long story short (or not so hah): I used to love using Happy Scribe because it’s hands down one of the most accessible tools for working with subtitles (which trust me is a huge deal when you’re doing them yourself..). So the app is super intuitive, packed with useful features, and most importantly, you never feel like you’re "alone with the text." You’ve got built-in translation, AI support, and even the option to order human translation if needed. Basically, tons of features, but all actually useful in real life.
At some point, I had to contact customer support about my subscription and to my surprise my email wasn’t left on read for months. They replied within the hour and solved my issue right away (shoutout to Simon for that!). And honestly, that’s what inspired me to write this review—when a product has real people behind it who genuinely care, it makes all the difference. It turns a great tool into a great experience, and knowing that your experience can always be personalized if needed? That’s a win.
So if you were looking for a sign—this is it. Check it out, this is my honest review! :)

I just had a problem getting access to my account and they helped me and answered my email within less than 10 Minutes. The quick support saved me a lot of time and worries... Thanks :)

I went for the free trial. My meetings have a lot of background noise and I wanted to see what it could do. The background noise did matter and it made some mistakes. Additionally the upload time is very long, I think it was longer than 1 min of audio recording to 1 min of uploading.
I have five meetings to transcribe so I needed to see a full one for accuracy.
The real pet peeve is that it let me see the first part, of my free trial and then wanted to charge me $17 to see the rest.
If it isn't a free trial then don't tell me it is and waste an hour uploading.
This bait and switch of a free trial needs to stop.

I have used the paid plan for a month and I would not recommend to anyone this platform. I understand that AI subtitles are far from accurate and I accept that. But their user experience to edit the subtitles are very poor. Changes are not saved or reflected in the final files, so I kept having to revisit all my changes to see if they are all updated which were a lot of extra work and the tool did not help me save time. Also, the webpage kept refreshing every minute or two. Everytime it refreshed, it would take me back to the beginning of the video. Now imagine that you are editing the subtitles for a video that is 40 minutes long, with inaccurate transcript, the webpage keeps refreshing every minute or two, everytime it refreshes, you are at the beginning of the video and you have to find where you left it, and on top of that the changes you made resulted not updated in the working file. It was an absolute nightmare and I am so glad I did not get the yearly plan even though it was cheaper. I tried to chat to the team from my first day in the subscription, they took forever to get back. They asked me to do recordings for them (which I felt that they just didn't do their product testing before launching their product). I sent them twice the recordings, and in my end of the chatbox it said the recordings were sent, but it happened that they didn't receive anything at their end. Then they asked to email the recordings instead and the whole shebeng... I mean why would I bother after all if the product and even your chatbox are faulty? By the way, you do not have access to the chatbox when you are in a working file. I believe most users spend most of their time in the working files, not in the homepage LOL All in all, the idea of the product is good but with this particular provider, I felt like I paid money to help them test their product and on top I did not get a solution at the end. Their product is not ready, the support team is green and they have not thought through its UX. So it is quite disappointing.

very poor quality human translation, lots of mistake, lack of coherence. They don't take responsibility for anything. It's a waste of money and time.

Happyscribe is totally useless. They scam you on the payment side and the service sucks. Find something else.

The advertising is misleading, they say you have credits and when you finally leave your data and upload your file they say you don't have any.
