The owner is very arrogant and taking money falsely. The forty minutes checks he was supposed to carry out, never happened. Our car was in for two weeks during which time they moved elsewhere without our permission? Wires fitted had been pulled out, left hanging inside our car. Owner of the garage is the rudest person I have ever come across, AA should be ashamed of treating customers so badly. if a garage is AA approved in future I know to steer clear.
The AA are meant to be investigating our complaint, and you should be aware of that too. I am well aware you are Not Burnt mill, the AA told me originally you are. I trust Burnt Mill, Not Harlow autocentre. Even the mechanic who called to pick our car up found you extremely un helpful.
I will give you a refresh, after I put a complaint into AA about car not looked at by 7/7/25 you rang to say job cancelled? Every call I had to make to ask what was happening? Left more questions each time.
I rang on 8/8/25 evening to see if car had the forty minute check 25 mins before closing. Your un helpful self told me I had two jobs outstanding? One cancelled the other active no idea when it wld be done. Thirty minutes later you apparently managed to do checks? Type out invoice and send to AA who sent to me? Do i believe checks were done no, before you say no recollection I have told you numerous times I was recording, and still awaiting AA to be bothered to answer the complaint on going. It may refresh your memory our car was parked in the lay by outside your garage from 29/6/25 till 9/7/25. You may not remember perhaps because you took monies without doing th check we paid for? For clarity complaint was made to AA smartcare on 7/7/25- again two times since asking for clarity, still waiting for answers. Your attitude is the same as you come across on the telephone, rude and never your fault.

My car has just had a service and MOT for the first time at Harlow Auto Centre as i was ripped off by my previous garage after they got a new owner. My car was picked up and delivered back to me at the time they told me which i really appreciate. My car passed its MOT and i am very happy with the service i received. Thank you so much - see you next year!

I need to express my dissatisfaction with this garage. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but I believe it's important to share my negative experience to warn others.
This was my second time using this garage, and both experiences left much to be desired. The second time, my car had a major issue and had to be towed to the garage by the AA. The car was held at the garage for over 3 weeks, causing significant inconvenience for me in terms of work, upcoming holidays, and finances.
The person I believe to be the owner or manager was unhelpful, rude, arrogant, and showed no sympathy for the inconveniences I faced. There was a serious lack of communication between the AA and the garage, and I felt caught in the middle of it. Given the high cost of the repair, I expected much better customer service.
To add to my frustration, when I finally collected my car, the back seats were covered in oil or grease, and there were smears around the door, inside and out. The manager offered £20 for cleaning but didn't come close to addressing the overall lack of professionalism that I experienced.
After careful consideration, I find that while this behaviour might be deemed acceptable by others, working in a professional field myself, it does not align with my personal standards. Therefore, I feel compelled to initiate a formal complaint with AA regarding this matter.

I also think they are very fair with their pricing so I would definitely recommend them to others.
They always seem to be busy, so they must be doing something right !!!!!!!!!!

I booked my car in for a service using the online booking system on the Harlow Auto Centre website and the whole process could not have been simpler! Dropped my car off for its service and within a couple of hours I had a call from the team saying it was ready to be picked up. Really friendly and helpful staff. Will be recommending to family and friends!

Car booked in for service no where to park so rung the garage and was told park up even though i would be blocking the entire industrial estate by a very rude unprofessional individual.
Booked service with another garage absolute shambles of a garage AVOID !

I turned up at 9.05 your guy walked out shaking his head and turned away without saying a word leaving me blocking the road I’ve reported the diabolical service and i suggest you and your staff get some customer services training.

My car was recovered by the AA to Harlow Auto Centre. I have an EV, and it ran low on coolant and my car “told me” to stop urgently (I didn’t even know evs had coolant!). They were brilliant - isolated the leak, repaired, good as new. Great bunch of chaps (who even assisted me in getting my car out of a tricky (for me!) parking spot. Gary - the chap on the reception is an absolute gem too. I saw some bad reviews on here, so felt compelled to say what brilliant treatment I received at this garage… and they know their way around an electric vehicle too (significantly better than the main dealer I had visited a few months prior to get some warranty work done!). Nice one chaps! Any further sign of trouble from my ev and I’ll certainly be back! Would highly recommend 10/10 :)

I used this company for the first time when I had a sudden issue with my car. They were brilliant. Came out to me at short notice, at the time the specified, were polite and I got the results of the diagnostic test really quickly. Gary himself was really helpful on a call after to explain in more detail and honestly gave great service. Will use again. Thank you Gary and team.

Was Left waiting ages
Was quite ignorant
Lost me my sale due to a few minor advisories.
Never offered to rectify the few minor issuse before putting them on the mot which lost me my sale, i made it aware i was selling the vehicle so why not help instead of slandering my mot.
