Very poor cleaning and no honest reaction to feedback in my opinion. Had much better cleaning for less money from other companies. Haus Maids don't even do the basics well from my point of view. Save your money and go somewhere else is what I would recommend.

We have just had our house cleaned by Haus Maids, Ware, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The house looked great when they’d finished and the service before and after could not have been more efficient, professional and friendly. We were originally considering a one off clean but they have done such a good job we’ve asked them to visit regularly.

Used Haus Maids for the first time after been recommended to use them for a deep clean pre putting the house on the market. I couldn’t fault them, they were professional and left the house looking amazing. Communication was great and very prompt. Will 100% be using them in the future

We hired Haus Maids to clean a small kitchen and bathroom, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The cleaning was subpar — visible oil stains were left untouched. When we raised this with the cleaner, we were told that for £120 (cash only - No bills), the service only included a “normal clean.” If we wanted a more thorough job, we should have booked a deep clean at an additional cost. This was never made clear upfront, and I was genuinely shocked.
Just a day earlier, we had an end-of-tenancy clean with XXX Services for a 2-bed, 2-bath flat, including carpet deep cleaning in a large hallway and bedroom, full kitchen clean (hob, drawers, etc.), and even windows, furniture, and blinds — all for £260. The quality was excellent and comprehensive.
In contrast, Haus Maids charged £120 for just a small kitchen (excluding drawer interiors), blinds(3X4 size), and a small bathroom — and spent less than 1.5 hours on the job. I would not recommend this service at all. For better value and transparency, I’d suggest opting for an hourly cleaning service, which typically costs £12–£20/hour and delivers comparable or better results. I rewrite this review as my first review was made removed due to the cleaning person name mentioned in it.

I do not agree to your statement that i behaved in an aggressive way. That is not true at all. I left 2 of your cleaning staffs and left from my house in 10 mins and returned later around 1hr 5 mins. the cleaning staffs were waiting outside near their car when i am back and demanding money outside itself, as you have other appointment, I asked you, have you completed the kitchen, toilet and blinds in 1 hr 15 mins? You said yes. I said, let me quickly have a check, then I found many places have not even cleaned properly, the blinds were just dusted with dusting brush. One of your other cleaning staff as you claim is not even a staff, a very small girl from school, you said that the kitchen exhaust was not cleaned as she cant reach that height, hence it cant be cleaned. When I pointed out the issues, the staff said in a hard tone that, for the cost given(120 GBP) this is what can be done and if you want better cleaning, you need to pay more for deep cleaning. Then i said mam, i just cleaned my other house 2bed 2 bath, kitchen, hall way with carpet deep cleaning for 260 pounds, you are charging 120 pounds just for a kitchen and one small bathroom, and you say this what can be done for this cost, this is very unprofessional. The staff started shouting that, you first give me money only then I will clean the spotted point, it made situation very uncomfortable and I paid the money immediately as the staff shouted makes us feel very uncomfortable. Later, the staff took a wet cloth and just wiped those stains in about 2 mins and just flew away. I don't see anything professional from this experience,
Why would i write a negative review if the service experience is good. I want to register again that the cleaning staff was the one aggressive and we handled it very professionally understanding immediately, the way they responded when i spot the cleaning issues, that this service is not run by a professional network. For the other cleaning service person, I even gifted a wine bottle for the professional and excellent work they carried 1 day before this incident, I could not hire them for this house as they said that they should have min of 160 worth of cleaning activity to book their service. And the booking process was completely online and standard price in detail for every cleaning activity. I see that is professional work and not the one Haus maid did.
Hence I write this review. Its a genuine experience with Haus Maid and i wanted to share about my experience, that's it. I am the one who paid for the service, though my brother requested the service, all we three are in the same page on the request, my concern after your service is that the request agreed upon was not done properly, we did not asked anything extra at all. I request Haus maid to show the professionalism in work rather than reply false information to justify showing of being professional.

I have used Haus Maids (Chandlers Ford branch) for over 2 years in 2 different properties for regular (fortnightly then monthly) cleans and 2 one-off deep cleans.

Danielle and her team have been lovely to deal with, with the cleaners arriving at the scheduled day/time and providing excellent cleans.

If I ever needed to alter a scheduled clean they have always been easy to contact and responsive.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use Haus Maids in Chandlers Ford again and recommend them to others.

I have a larger than average home. My normal cleaner is having a baby. She explained in great detail to the director what was required. We booked to have two visits a week. I was promised the whole house would be cleaned on both visits. They promised 100% satisfaction. Two ladies arrived - it was clear that they were untrained and expected just to hoover (knocking into the skirting boards and chipping the paintwork), throw a dirty mop about (leaving puddles of water), wipe around a bit. They didn’t even know how to clean a toilet or a sink I sent through photos of their attempts. They left after 1.5 hours. I paid £62 per hour! The company would not give me any recompense.

The ladies who came to clean my house were punctual, friendly and did an excellent job. I needed help with the cleaning following recent surgery and hospitalisation and Haus Maids provided an excellent service.

Fantastic experience using Haus Maids, right from when I made the initial enquiry, through to the cleaning itself and the great team who provide you with full communication throughout the service. Use on a regular weekly basis and will continue to do so.
Highly recommend.

A two-person cleaning team came for just 45 minutes to clean my 1-bedroom flat. The cleaning itself was well below standard; the kitchen worktop, splash-back, and sides of the wall cupboards were left with visible oil stains, and the overall attention to detail was poor.

More importantly, after they left, I noticed deep discoloration stains on the bathroom brassware, which appear to have been caused by the use of unsuitable chemicals.

When I raised the issue with Haus Maids, the director dismissed my concern and attempted to evade responsibility before even looking at the photos I had offered to send.

Instead of taking accountability and investigating the issue properly, they disclaimed all responsibility for the actions of their unsupervised cleaning team.

Very disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend Haus Maids as a company. Please try and find other services in your area if available.

Had our first visit from Haus Maids, Horsham. They did an excellent job - exactly what we had requested, and it was very good value.

We have worked with Haus Maids in Farnham & Guildford for multiple properties. The service has always been fantastic and the cleaners do an excellent job.

This is the first time we have employed cleaners, as we have always cleaned our own houses.
Kyley was very helpful in getting everything organised for us and the standard of cleanliness after their first visit was excellent, we also now have a very clean oven!

UPDATE 22 APRIL 2026
After over year House Maids has replied to say they are looking into what happened! This is no more than they said a year ago, and is presumably just for people reading reviews, so that it looks as though they take criticism seriously. Clearly they don't, or else they would have done something by now - 14 months later, and communicated with us. They haven't!

Don't go near this shambles of a company, that relies on slick marketing and wealthy clients to hide a monumentally poor service.

They've replied to say they're going to review what happened, and yet they don't know which branch we were dealing with and they don't know who we are (and they haven't even asked), so how can they look into it? Yet more evidence of why Haus Maids should be avoided. Don't fall into the trap of nice words that don't mean anything when it comes to taking action.

UPDATE 17 FEBRUARY:
We emailed Haus Maids some days ago to let them know about our experience. Not even an acknowledgement, let alone an apology.

These people are to be avoided at all costs.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Absolutely terrible. They gave a quote of £120 for a regular clean, but said it was about the clean and not about the number of hours spent. Well, that set alarm bells ringing, but we thought we'd go with it initially.

We were told the first clean would be a "deep clean" and would cost £180. Two people came, confirmed it would be an "initial "deep clean" and that thereafter it wouldn't be as thorough.

It's a four bedroom house that two highly efficient cleaners in the past have taken two hours to do a "regular" clean.

After 90 minutes, the two Haus Maids cleaners told me they were finished. I did a cursory scan round before they left and pointed out a couple of things that hadn't been done. Later on, we did a more thorough review, pulling out sofas the cleaners had said they had moved and cleaned under, only to find clumps of dust. There were many other things that hadn't been touched, that would have been routine in a regular clean, let alone a so-called deep clean.

They appeared to have moved sofas just slightly, to make it look as if they had cleaned under them and not quite put them back properly.

Haus Maids is very good at marketing and likes to make itself look professional by talking about a "marketing team" and a "scheduling team" etc. but the actual cleaning is abysmal.

They clearly have made their money operating in areas where some people may have more money than sense. I'm ashamed to say we very nearly fell into that category, but fortunately came to our senses.

I'm very pleased with the excellent service I have rec'd from both management and the cleaners themselves. I would not hesitate in recommending them at all. Well done

Excellent cleaning team that are friendly, very thorough and always punctual. Also, the head office team are always friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend Haus Maids!

I have recently used Hausmaids for the first time and was delighted with the exceptional service that was provided by two very polite and friendly young women. I have a large house that has needed a deep clean since we moved in in March and they did a very thorough top to bottom clean with great attention to detail. The three showers were gleaming inside and out, stubborn limescale was removed, bins were emptied and even my compost caddy was spotless! I wish I could afford to have them every month!
