Disgusted with the service I have received. Wore the £46 flip flops twice and a charm fell off. Lost.
I sent photos and they said I needed to photograph the top the bottom and the fault. Which I did. Then they said I need to send a photo of the serial number
Eventually found this (picture of a watch on the underside, not very clear) so I sent a photo. They replied saying I’ve not sent what they require and as they are worn they can’t help me !!!

£46 for 2 wears!!! Joke

I went on the returns portal to log a return. “Email not found”. Even though that’s the email they sent my order through to.

Emanuele - you should not work in customer care if you don’t care about your customers.

I note 83% are 1 star reviews. Shameful.

How can a company of this size only give the option of printing in order to send a parcel back!! Who has a printer these days!

European distributor for Havaianas with speedy delivery

I thought I might as well give this store the review it deserved as I was shocked to see to many negatives! I purchased the loveshackfancy limited collaboration with the them and at first I even thought it was a clone / scam website! The copyright of the website hasn’t been updated (showing 2022) and the flip-flops I wanted wasn’t labelled with the same model name if you compare it to the model name on the US website. Because of this I did a search on google on the legitimacy of this website and made sure it’s the same link on their official European instagram account. Luckily it all matched so I felt confident. I don’t use a credit card so I’m nervous buying from websites in case they are scam websites since there are so many now!!
Anyway I ordered it with a little amount of anxiety thinking there’s a small chance it’s still a fake website. To my surprise it all went through smoothly and I got my order within 5 days to the UK! The other issue that I think is the reason why people give it a bad rating is sizing. This is a Brazilian brand so it’s showing Brazilian sizes, not Europe sizes!! Please take note of this but they do offer a handy size conversion on the page you are trying to buy them from. So there should be no excuses about assuming it’s Europe sizes and getting mad at this company for false advertising. I agree they could fix up their website to make it look a bit more professional since we live in a world of sophisticated online scams now. However it is up to you to read the description properly which would save a lot of time and money if this simple fact was understood. As for the product, 5 stars! They are expensive but worth it. The material feels heavy and made from good quality rubber. I am usually a UK4 but I purchased size 37/38 which fit me well especially with my wide feet

So upset these were required for my holiday tomorrow and have arrived today in a dreadful state, the holes are ripped and unwearable when I called they were not even bothered by this, no empathy or compassion, won’t be ordering anything from them again

The customer service from this store is awful

The customer service from this store is beyond pitiful… they sent out men’s size 12 in white instead of ladies red in size 4. After several emails they eventually asked me to prove their mistake with 3 more photos of said mistake.
I then received an email stating they cannot fulfil my order the original product has been sold out and that I can keep the white mens pair as a gift. A gift…I have no one in my life that can wear size 12.
Beyond disappointed and will never shop here again. I did receive the offer of a €20 voucher which doesn’t even cover the average price of a pair of flip flops.
Where has good customer service gone!!!

The worst customer service ever

The customer service in UK Havaianas e-commerce store is terrible. I have sent email inquiry 8 days ago, and the while time I'm being ignored. I provided all of the info and pictures of faulty product and customer service team still claims that there is some special manufacturer number on the straps, but it's not. I took a photos of the flip flops from every angle and there is nothing more I can provide. I believe they just playing with me so don't have to give me my money back or send replacement. My first Havainas flip flops ever and such terrible experience. I was better buying shoes from cheap brands.

Wrong sizing and terrible customer…

Wrong sizing and terrible customer service.
They send me the wrong size: I live in Europe, order a 37, they send me a Brazilian 37 which is EUR 39. I still have to pay for a change of size.
I agree with majority of reviews.

Terrible customer service and poor…

Terrible customer service and poor sizing.

Flip flops are small fitting and do not match standard sizing. Website charges £6 for delivery and then another £5 for you to return them yourself. Website returns are very difficult - instructions tell you to click a button that doesn’t exist and you end up having to use the chat functionality just to get a return label. All in, paid £11 to buy and return flip flops worth £20…

Rubbish service

Paid for order, havaianas said order was not paid for, provided proof, got an apology, new order created, been waiting nearly 2 weeks now, not likely I’ll ever use this website again, customer service is rubbish and take around a week to even get back to you.

They robbed me of my money.

I had a very disappointing experience with Havaianas and their customer service. When ordering a pair of flip-flops, the website did not clearly differentiate between UK and European sizes. As a result, I mistakenly ordered a size larger than needed, despite selecting what was stated as my correct UK size.
Upon receiving the sandals, I realised they were too big and requested a return. To my surprise, I was told I had to pay £4.90 for the return – even though the sizing issue was not my fault. When I raised this with customer service, a representative named Ciara initially assured me that if I returned the item, I would receive a £15 voucher. However, after I completed the return, she backtracked and claimed it was a typo, offering only a 15% discount instead. This felt misleading and dishonest.
Overall, my experience with Havaianas was frustrating, and I would not recommend shopping with them. Their lack of clear sizing information, return policy, and misleading customer service make them a company to avoid. They robbed me of my money.

Incorrect sizing and poor support

Mapping for sizing online shows EU and Brazilian Havaianas sizes as identical. The flip flops then arrive showing Brazilian 43/44 and EU 45/46.

Customer support refuse to take any ownership of the issue and simply tell me the online table is a 'recommendation'. They even provide a completely different table via email.

How is it this hard to show a mapping of footwear sizes.

Returns cost £4.90.

I placed an order for 2 Flip Flops on…

I placed an order for 2 Flip Flops on December 16th. It's now January 1st and my order has not even been shipped. I called customer service 5 times to find out what's going on and they hardly speak English and keep telling me they will file a ticket. The tracking info they give clearly says label created and package not shipped. They refuse to issue a Refund. I now have to file a claim with my Bank. There Feedback is 1.4% out of 5. My fault for not reading the reviews about this terrible company.

Customer Service and Product Quality

I've been a loyal Havaianas customer for years, always choosing their flip-flops for their comfort and style. However, my recent experience has been incredibly disappointing. In the past two years, I've had **five pairs** of Havaianas flip-flops snap in the *exact same place*. Out of the three pairs I currently own, **two** have already broken, and I’ve been left frustrated with the poor durability.

What’s more disappointing is the response I received from Havaianas’ customer service. Despite providing photographic proof of the faulty flip-flops, I was dismissed because I didn't have proof of purchase. I’ve always bought my Havaianas from their stalls and paid in cash, so holding onto receipts wasn’t something I thought would be necessary, especially with a brand I’ve trusted for so long. Still, I provided evidence of the repeated defects, but their response offered no real solution or support.

I expected better from a brand like Havaianas. Instead of addressing the quality issue and offering a resolution, my concerns were completely brushed off. It’s disheartening to see a brand I once loved handle their loyal customers this way.

I hope others don’t have to deal with this, but sadly, I can’t recommend Havaianas anymore due to this experience.

AWFUL

Not what I expected, quality wise, awful. I have a pair of havaianas for sooo long, still going , but I wanted a black ones. Have to send them back as size is so off, extremely tiny.
Such a big, well known company to charge 4.90 £ for return, is disgusting!!!

Awful experience no order delivery then…

Awful experience no order delivery then they told me they had gone to deliver shop so I ask which one oh they could not say then they told me someone had picked it up. Very bad communication will not be buying from here again. Still waiting for my refund they promised and they said they would send me a voucher for compensation but that hasn't come either.

Ordered these in June still going on.

Love them

I ordered 2 pairs of flip flops on the 26th of June, and they arrived in the correct colors and sizes only 5 days after (I live in Denmark). The quality is great and I am so glad that I didn't listen to all the bad reviews on here.

But with that said, due to the many really bad reviews I don't know whether I would order from them again or not.
