Worst ever terrible customer service ever. Nobody knows what they are doing, including mistaking your name for someone else's. As an apology, they gave you a code for a free pair valid until the end of 2023, but it turned out to be invalid when you tried to use it.

They advertise “easy returns”, unfortunately the opposite is the case! The return label is not included in the delivery and must be printed out yourself and you have to pay another 4.50 euros return postage.
This is what I mean by very complicated, time-consuming and disproportionately expensive. My goods are worth 12 euros.

Their "What is my size?" size guide is wrong for UK customers. They appear to output an EU size and then don't make it clear their sizes of their products are actually Brazilian. The products themselves have EU sizes printed on them, with Brazilian sizes on the labels. Customer services will not help you if you get it wrong and will charge you for the return.
Slim range not for slim feet??
Me and my mum have very slim feet so when I saw they had a slim range, I was over the moon as these would be perfect for us both. However, on arrival of these flip flops, they weren’t in fact slim fit. I called customer services because I didn’t think it was fair to have to pay to return an item, which was wrongly advertised, to which they told me, it’s called the slim range, but not for a slim foot???? How misleading is that?? Disgusting and patronising customer service. Definitely would not buy from them again.

Warning! Do NOT but anything from this shop. The customer service is literally the worst I have ever been in contact with, regarding their sizing problems of the flip flops. I finally hung up the phone after a loud angry discussion with the customer service guy (and a few emails before that). He didn't consider anything their fault, rather me as a customer who bought the wrong size (even though I have had the same model and size for years and also if I buy in a store here I will get the same size).
They claim that each size will differ a lot because they are handmade... Doesn't make sense to me why it can't be consistent even though they are handmade.... Which makes it totally impossible to buy the right size, no matter their sizing tables they will point you to. It's like gambling. And to embrace the size difference you get this stupid message trying to hide their own problems with the manufacturing/sizing problems: "It's all about spreading our Havaianas love, no matter the shape or size of our products (#SpreadTheLove).". It's totally the opposite feeling than spreading love.
Compared the same size on two pairs from the shop and they differ with 15mm on the length and also differ a lot in width and straps length.
So, buy your flip-flops elsewhere!
No concern for cancelled order
I bought a pair of Farm Rio flip flops in the store at the suggestion of the cashier who said they could easily be shipped due to my size out of stock. That was 11 days ago and still no flip flops.
I never received a tracking number on the receipt or by email. Then after calling, the rep said “Upon checking, it was found that your order was canceled due to the unavailability of the Top Farm Rio Toucan Flip Flop at the time of processing. Our stocks are subject to availability, but due to the volume and high demand for certain items, some orders were affected and this was one of them.”
No offer to replace, no discount for the massive inconvenience, nothing. I actually bought the flip flops on my birthday as a gift to myself so this entire ordeal has left a sour taste in my mouth. They acted as if I should’ve been ok with things happening the way they did. Never buying from them again.

My family wanted to surprise me for my birthday with flip flops and ordered a pair online.
But I don't like these flip flops. Got a message on my phone of a deduction of my credit card account and asked my wife what is was for. She told me and I contacted the customer service within 1,5 hour after the purchase. I choose the option 'cancellation request'. Since the expected delivery was 2-3 days, I assumed that clearly would be on time.
But the next day I already received the order. I contacted the customer service again (didn't receive an answer on my cancellation request by the way) and tried to explain my situation. I asked them to return the order without any costs. But this is not possible they say. If you want to cancel an order, you should call them (an expensive foreign telephone number) within 5 minutes (!) after your order.
Then why do they have a 'cancellation request' option on their website, I asked. No answer to that....
Maybe they should change the name 'customer service' into something else. Because serivce to the customer is something they don't provide.

Havaianas taken money but no product and can’t contact them
I ordered flip flops on 16th July. Heard on 20th July they were on there way. But this is a lie. The courier hasn’t received them.
I’ve contacted them by the online contact form. No reply. I’ve phoned them 8 times and been cut off before being able to speak anyone. Absolute disgrace and feel like my money has been scammed. What am atrocious company.

Horrendous Customer Service
I have been trying to cancel an order for a few days now. Customer Services do not reply, phones are never answered (and are very costly) and whatsapp & FB messenger are automatically operated answers that always direct you to an online form - which again is never being replied to! I wish I hadn’t bought anything from them because there is no way of contacting them. The only positive is that if you pay with PayPal there is actually a high possibility of getting the refund (thankfully I got mine). However, I DO NOT recommend using Havaianas website for any purchases. It’s one of the worst Customers Services I have ever dealt with.
Terrible sizing tool and even worse…
Knowing that there is a difference between Havaianas/Brazilian size and EU size, I used the ‘what’s my size’ tool on the website havaianas-store.com before ordering. The advice was to order a size 45-46 (my EU size is 44), so I ordered that. This was on the Dutch language version of the site, so I assumed that I was ordering EU size 45-46, which is the same as the pair of Havaianas I already have. Package arrived quick, but to my surprise, they sent me Havaianas size 45-46, which is EU size 47-48 and WAY too big. I assumed a mistake was made when packing my order, so I requested a free return label and asked them so send me the correct size. The quite arrogant response from customer ‘service’ (Miguel) was that I had ordered the wrong size, because the sizes listed are the Havaianas/Brazilian sizes. BUT that is not mentioned anywhere on the product page OR in the sizing tool, and I had followed the tool’s advice when ordering. I replied again explaining this and asking for the option to return for free (normally €3,90) as the mistake was not mine, but got the same quite arrogant response. Even though Havaianas has an office in Madrid and wants to sell to European customers, they don’t bother to be clear about sizing.
If they would have allowed me to return for free, I would have ordered the same pair again in a smaller size. Now, I feel treated badly and will never order again. You do the math, Havanaias!
Please follow my advice and do NOT order from this website because you will likely receive the wrong size and customer service will not help you.
Poor quality flip-flops
Flip-flops used to be very good, but the last 2 pairs I bought were poor quality and lasted 1 year each.
The first pair is still good, but I wanted different colours; I will buy another product.

Their website is terrible! I wanted a pair of flip-flops I'd seen in one of their outlet stores. They didn't have my size so I took to their website. Filtered to my size and saw a pair I liked even more. I placed the order, all done.
The package seemed to sit in the Netherlands for several days, and no explanation to why.
When the order arrived it was clear they were too small. You get no documentation in the box with your order, so it leaves you routing through emails to find your order. They had sent what had been asked for, a plus for them.
As I'm inquisitive, I looked into what I'd done wrong, as it would bug me. The filter on their website doesn't work correctly. I told it Men and the size I require. It says items are in stock for your size when it's not, leading you to think you're viewing your size, and order the incorrect size.
It had returned kids versions.
I tried to contact support, and got no response what so ever. After looking at their FAQs it said to log in to get a returns label. SHOCK horror their website fails again. The log in doesn't work. It errors silently. I tried several times still the same. So I tried to do it in person, I would have to go to London over 200 miles away. My local outlet store wasn't listed.
I went again to their outlet store to try my luck. They said they have nothing to do with Havaianas they are a franchise. If they had the product I wanted I could switch it out which was nice of them. Sadly they didn't have the product.
I browsed the store to find that some of products where damaged and they'd only just got them in. The assistant seemed really embarrassed as every single one seemed damaged and they had not noticed.
I went on to get a picture and info of the flip-flops as someone I know was interested in them. They seem to have fixed the filter issue. You still can't log in the same silent error of "For technical reasons, your request could not be handled properly at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience."
