Cancelled orders, poor customer service
I have tried to order a pair of sandals 3 times from their online shop and each time it has been cancelled a week later. I have complained to customer services and they tell me it's because they do not have stock - yet the cancellation emails say I can reorder them immediately, and they are in stock online. I have come to the conclusion that Havianas are just taking people's money and sitting on it to make profit, before returning it. What a swindle!
Two pairs of broken flip flops; customer service won't refund.
So, the 1 star rating I've given this company is generous, to say the least. I purchased my first pair of flip flops from this company in 2020 and they lasted for maybe a year and a half before they snapped irreparably. At the time I thought it was a fluke and I loved the shoes, so I repurchased in April of 2022. Cut to last week and this pair snapped in the same spot the previous pair did. I went to customer service demanding a refund (especially since I've been unemployed for 8 months and have suffered severe anxiety over financial instability, now knowing I need to spend money on another pair of flip flops for the summer since these were the only pair I had). Naturally, speaking with customer service was a nightmare. All because this happened outside of their warranty window, they stated initially that all they could do was offer me a 20% discount on a new pair (which is ridiculous, because I don't want to purchase from this company ever again knowing TWO pairs of flip flops have broken after one year of very light wear). After pushing with a supervisor, I was told they could send me a replacement pair (though that's pending approval). I reluctantly accepted that, but I'm in awe of how terrible this company handled a situation like this that is very clearly their fault/a manufacturing defect with the shoes. Rather than get my money back to spend on a new pair of flip flops from another company, I'll just have to shell out more cash because they were greedy and decided this happened due to "normal wear & tear." I'm sorry, but when we purchase shoes or clothing, we expect many years of use -- not one before replacing -- especially given the fact that these flip flops are $30 and way more expensive than most. Do not waste your money here. It's likely the flip flops will break and customer service will refuse to do the right thing. What a shameful, shameful company.
No free gift
I have spent extra money to make sure I receive their free gift at that time. They did not send it and send me an email instead saying "oops" they forgot, here is 15% discount code, we will post it with your next order. They usually have 20% of anyway. How cheecky and unfair. Will not buy again even thoug I do like their shoes. Bad service and wrong upselling.
Truly Disappointed
Made an order in Jan 2023- You Riviera Sandals. Upon receiving, the condition was not good- the skin/ rubber peeling off. Made a complaint, got a replacement. It was alright, no peeling spotted. Received in February.
Started using in March, the first 2-3 hours of using the skin/ rubber started peeling off. And, by the end of the day, it was already in a terrible condition. What is meant by QUALITY here? Is this sandals really worth the price? TRULY DISAPPOINTED HAVAIANAS.

I purchased 3 pairs of havaianas. I hardly wore them because I am not a big fan of flipflops. In the space of 1 year, the straps from all 3 pairs have broken.. hardly worn.. how is this possbile?!
returns are a nightmare
postage is expensive. also charged for returns. i returned my items 18th feb. has an email to say return accepted 1st march and 14 days max to receive funds. its now 15th march and i'm still waiting and have opened a paypal case against them. terrible service.
To top it off the flips flops were lovely. I ordered the same size as a previous pair so knew the sizing was correct

Generally a positive experience. I will admit, seeing all the negative reviews for this store made me regret placing an order initially. We often forget that people will feel inclined to leave reviews only if their experience is negative and not positive.
I placed my order on Thursday, and it had arrived by Monday. However, there was a lack of communication hence why I have given Havaianas Store 4 stars. I only received one email to say 'my order was completed' when I initially placed it. I was worried I didn't get any sort of dispatch email - but a couple of days later I got an email from Royal Mail saying my item would shortly be delivered.
Overall the experience was positive, however I did have low expectations based on the reviews. The quality of the product seems fair. My flip flops arrived with no deformations which I was happy about.
I had decided to use the size picker on the website to suggest what size to buy. I bought my usual size. The sizes on the website are Brazilian - which are typically +1 of the EU measurement. That being said - I would just buy your typical size (ie: size 39 UK / buy size 39 on website).
The one thing to consider about this is the costs of shipping are very high. For standard delivery I paid just over five pounds - which begs the question - 'why not buy elsewhere or in a physical store?' There's no way to check what Havianas stores stock which styles. So because I wanted a specific style - I decided to give the website a chance. The delivery itself was quoted as taking 5 business days - and to be honest it did take exactly five days. So I'm honestly satisfied by this.
So to summarise, the reasons I have given this four stars/five:
- There was a lack of communication from both Havaianas and the couriers used. GLS - the courier sending the package out from Amsterdam.
- The shipping time was quite a while and expensive

I haven’t worn them much as they give zero support and I feel like I’m gonna trip and die. But the biggest problem was getting the right size. I wear 41 euro size, but had to get Brazilian size 43/44 😱 and the sizing says I should do the opposite…

just had delivery, the quality of the product a joke, was told by adviser they are acceptable issues by Dagmar Havaianas Team. have using Havaianas for year's will be looking elsewhere for alternatives.
Half my delivery never arrived
Ordered 2 pairs of flip flops, both in stock. Received 1 pair, charged for 2, order said Completed. When I complained they told me the 2nd pair was out of stock and they would refund. I went online and they were showing In Stock, but now at a higher price. Customer service refused to send at the original price, offered me free shipping instead. The next day, they had a Free Shipping event on all orders, absolute jokers.

On December 19, 2022, I both a Flip flop as a Christmas gift to my son. The problem is that it was delivered to my old address. I called them to ask for help and they said that I should call FedEx and request to send it to the right address. I did it and FedEx told me that only Havaianas could do such a request, Fedex said that they needed to contact FedEx and authorize it.
Havainas keep saying that they can't call FedEx and Fedex keep saying that only Havainas can do it.
I'm trying to call Havainas customer service but no one answers the call. Right now I'm about 28 minutes waiting in line.
I'm feeling like an idiot, I made a purchase at a store that claims to be reputable but no one is able to solve the problem. This is disrespectful to the client. One simple call to FedEx could solve the problem. Again, I CAN NOT REQUEST IT, ONLY HAVAIANAS CAN.

First of all your slippers are so comfy. I wear them daily and I have several pairs.
Recently I order charms for my flipflops . But because of a mistake on the website the posted one picture with Havaianas slim fit with pineapple charms. The displayed one wrong picture , so due to that picture I assumed the would fit my slim fit Havaianas (and they didn't) So I contacted and I sent the screenshots of the article and the pictures displayed by the item and they responded asking my adress. And today I received 3 packets of charms . I am so greatfull and happy. My feet are so happy. Havaianas you are the best . I never want other slippers and I will keep coming for more and I highly recommend Havaianas. 👌

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced!
I purchased a pair of flip-flops from the Bondol store in Var France.
Once home I noticed that the strap across the front is twisted and rubbed my foot. After heading back to the store to exchange them the store assistant and manager agreed they were a faulty product but laughed us out shop saying we are not Louboutin or Doir & do not provide an aftercare service and refused to help at all.
Once contacting their online customer service their response was equally unhelpful, telling me to pin the shoes back into shape and if this doesn't work to use a hairdryer on them to mold them back to the shape they should have been in when I purchased them.
Not what I expected purchasing a pair of shoes from such a reputable high street brand. Considering the shoes cost them about 20p to manufacture some sort of exchange for the bent flip flops purchased would have been something I thought to be a reasonable request.
Support another shoe brand! I will never purchase use this company again.
Terrible customer service!
I recently purchased 2 pairs of flip flops and chose a 39/40, as I am a size 6, and according to their website this was the correct size. I also have other pairs of Havaianas and they are also 39/40. However, they have clearly changed their sizing and are refusing to take any sort of responsibility for this. The new pair are definitely a bigger size, which would make sense considering they say EUR 41/42, which would be an 8/9 and not 6/7. I have emailed them about this, with images of other pairs that are clearly smaller, and the image of the size chart stating 39/40 is a 6/7, but they have stated that the size chart is only a guide and based on a survey, and that show sizes are subjective (?).
Also that the difference between the new pair and my previous pairs is normal as they change the moulds they use (?).
The only thing I requested was to return for free, and they have refused every time and still keep giving very confusing and quite frankly ridiculous responses.
I would not recommend using them and will not be again!!

Really bad quality Havaianas products
As many of the reviews state below, their quality is very Poor. I had 4 faulty pairs, I near snapped my ankle walking in them, as they were falling apart after less than 2 months, that's a shame for the price you pay for their Havaianas products, such a bad qualitiy. My last shoes was the wrong size on their European website... The ones I've recieved are too small. Furthermore I have spent £40 GBP and their customer service wants to offer me £35 for a voucher. Why £35? If I have spent £40 GBP, yes GBP as their customer service are confused with the Euro. I don't Want to buy ANYTHING from them anymore, after 4 pairs of faulty shoes, different models, clearly their products are very very poor on quality. Why should I get the voucher if I have been clear to them I DON'T WANT TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS ANYMORE SO I WANT MY MONEY BACK, I WANT £40 THE AMOUNT I SPENT. Flip flops peeling apart before even wearing …
Ordered a pair of flip flops and saved in closet until my other flip flops wore out. Wore once fir 10 minutes indoor to break in. The flip flops are literally peeling apart from bottom
And top. Write to CS - offered to send pic where you can clearly see they are brand new and literally falling apart. Not even interested in seeing just said not eligible for replacement and then closed case and then asked how they did !
