Disappointing service

Nice bold designs but poor service, confusing non-standard sizing, high delivery charges, no exchange policy, even higher returns delivery charges.

Poor quality

Delivery is quick but the shoes aren’t what they used to be. Had a pair of Brasil for 7 years. Fit perfectly and I’ve walked miles in them. Bought a new pair as they were getting tired and the straps have stretched after a couple of wears around the house. They are now unwearable. Waste of money.

I’d give it a zero if I could

I’d give it a zero if I could. Ordered online, these are terribly made, almost $100 worth of footwear I can’t seem to return. No one answers their phone, emails you back, and the return form online kicks you out as soon as you put your order # in there.

Not overly impressed

Not overly impressed. Bought my first ever pair around 18 months ago and the other day they broke (strap broke off at base and couldn't be repaired). Considering I only wear them when it's sunny (and I live in the UK) and we've been in lockdown a lot, I'm not impressed with the cost verses longevity.
They were very comfy, but all in all, probably not worth it.

Customer service couldn’t care less

Customer service couldn’t care less. Ordered two pairs in the sand size. Arrived completely different sizes snd was told different factory’s use different moulds! Will have to pay £5 to return!

I would give zero stars if possible

I would give zero stars if possible.
The product isn’t bad, but the “customer service” is HORRIBLE! For that reason alone I will never buy a product of theirs. I e-mailed customer service at least 4-5 times to see how I could return some flip flops I had just ordered and never received a response back, then I called the “customer service” number and was on hold for 20 minutes. I was also asked to take a picture of the merchandise I was sending back and then if “approved” I would receive a return label via e-mail. A lot of time WASTED on this return. Very frustrating.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. My item has been stuck in France for over 10 days and the customer service team (I spoke with Vincent) said that this was my issue to take up with FedEx and nothing can be done on their part expect wait for the delivery. Vincent failed to apologise on behalf of the company or made no suggestion to resolve the issue. In fact he said I could decide to no longer shop there after receiving my item? After much push back I contacted FedEx directly who seemed more attentive to the issue at hand.

I wanted to escalate this with a supervisor but the response was that they wouldn’t speak with customers.

I won’t be shopping with the retailer again and will raise a complaint.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Some items didn’t fit. I contact them on live chat and was told I could return free of charge. I then received email confirmation that I would get full refund. However when checking my bank account, they had removed a £3.90 fee. Tried to contact them and show that both chat and emails said something else but was told it was a little mistake. Very disappointing!

Do not ever order Havaianas online

Do not ever order Havaianas online, its a big scam! And worst customer service I ever saw! I ordered 12 pairs on 2 separate orders, got the email confirmation for both and when I went to check on the status I found out that both were canceled for no reason! The explanation, when I called the US office, was that the computer canceled the order by itself . What???? No respect whatsoever for the clients, no solution for my problem, as when they offered to re-order, most of the sandals I chose were not available! Next time order from Ipanema, much more comfortable flip flops and decent service.

Pleasant surprise given other reviews!

I was VERY nervous about what I would experience, having only read the (mostly bad) reviews AFTER purchasing, but I was pleasantly surprised, product as you would expect, good quality and fast delivery. Positive review from me! Thanks.

Poor..very poor quality

I bought 2 flops at your Westfield London store last year before the lockdown and due to poor quality they snapped. I paid over £50 and I feel very cheated and disappointed.

I took them back to the store where they said because it was more than 6 months old they CANNOT DO ANYTHING!

Such poor quality and such high prices..i will never ever buy again and ask others not to waste money too.

I asked the store assistant there to keep my broken flip flops to show your manufacturer and they REFUSED!

Please stop buying from them and wasting your money.

Ordered a pair of Havianas from their official website and they were too big. Returned them and had proof of mailing. After 6 weeks still had no refund inspire of making 3 telephone calls to them. Eventually got the refund less £5.00. Worst service I have ever received on any internet purchase. Don't use this company order from somewhere like John Lewis or Office.

Poor customer service!

I really like Havaianas flip flops and have worn them in the past. I ordered a pair on their website and they sent me the wrong size. I sent the shoes back unworn with the tags still on them. They received them six weeks ago. I've called them twice and I have still not gotten a refund. I'll never order from them again!

Broke within a month and when I complained offered me credit on their site which wouldn’t even cover the expense of a new pair. Bad quality item! Should have lasted much longer and I don’t think that’s a reasonable result so will not be buying from them

never ever again!

Wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Ordered two pairs and their flip flops arrived stained with glue or something and one of the shoes was bended! Not even one of them arrived in a great condition as they should! I have been told by Erika from customer service : If you feel that flip-flops are not usable, we recommend sending them back... Excuse me? They should arrive in perfect condition, not just in usable condition! Their customer service is absolutely rubbish! They do not care, all they say is return the product! Disgusting service for the shoes with disgusting price! Very disappointed, never will buy anything again from them and will refer this to all my friends!

Havaianas broke after just a few weeks…

Flip flops broke after just a few weeks of use. Customer services offered a 10% discount on my next pair?!! and will not exchange or refund.
Very disappointing. There are better made flip flops to opt for and for less money.
Havaianas customer service shocking and a waste of time, they do not answer any questions about the expected life span of their products, so dont expect long.
Will not be buying from this company again.

Terrible service

Since I posted the review below, I’ve received the money back, but not after 1.5 month and several calls.
Given my bad experience w the site, I would not change my review of one star.

After my own bad experience and reading the reviews below Havaianas‘ website looks like a scam and should be reported to the authorities for investigation. I bought 3 pairs on 11/7. They were never delivered. Custumer Service confirmed the warehouse received the Havaianas on 30/7 as UPS could not deliver or didn’t not find my home. It is unclear what happened. I work from home and receive deliveries all the time. Therefore, it is odd that UPS could not find my home. They said that it would take 10 business days for processing the refund after it arrived at the warehouse. Then after another call it was 15 business days. Today is 20/8, and I still haven’t received a refund and they cannot guarantee when the monies will be refunded to my account. I’ve called 6 times and always get the same customer’s service representative, which I find odd. He keeps giving excuses why the refund has not been made. Shocking that such a company can keep fooling customers and have a website trading. I can’t believe this is the real Havaianas, which is such a big company with global reach.
How can we report this to the authorities so they can investigate and this website stops stealing from other customers?

I bought a pair of flip flops on Sunday…

I bought a pair of flip flops on Sunday for my son’s birthday. The flip flops did not fit him and he needed a larger size. On Wednesday we returned to this store to get a larger size. They no longer had the style that we had chosen for him. So he picked out another flip-flop that fit. The flip-flop he chose was R$3 less than the first. The store would not give me MY money back or a credit to use the next time I come in. I have been a faithful customer to the store and many other Havaiana stores over the years. They are robbing thousands possibly millions of R$ from their customers every year. This is wrong! Neither the manager nor the office worker were willing to help. And when I suggested that I buy something else in the store so I could get my R$3 and then they give me R$3 discount, they said I was wrong. You see, they are not willing to give R$3 of their money but they will Force their customers to lose their own hard earned money!
