Flip-Flops are smaller than the ones in Shops - fake?
I orderd 2 pairs of Havaianas, both identical to pairs we own but were a bit worn out. The new pairs were both about one cm shorter than the original ones we had bought here in Germany in an official store! Also they are shorter than what their sizing guide claims. Still they don't want to offer free return and deduct 15 EUR from the refund - toal rip off. DO NOT BUY here!!!

Agree with previous reviews- wish I had seen this first. Similar story. Ordered 2 pairs online, unfortunately unsuitable. Wasn't expecting free return in fairness but equally was not expecting to have to shell out for INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY back to Italy where the product was sent from (cost £7) Not clear on ordering- the website gives no indication that you are purchasing from abroad and had I known this was the case I would have ordered from another retailer. 2 and a half weeks later after expensive trip to post office (sent by airmail), no refund had issued and no update on my online account. Phoned the UK telephone number for call centre- international dialling tone- customer service centre based in Germany. Agent had very poor English, confirmed that they had received my order back but couldn't confirm when I would receive the money back in my account - sometime this week.... Not acceptable. Avoid at all costs, great product but purchase elsewhere.
BEWARE RETURNS!
Havaianas is a respected worldwide brand. Having purchased a pair at Gatwick Airport (but not the pair I wanted due to limited holding of stock) I was delighted with quality and comfort. So on my return I order three more pairs online. Fortunately having tested at Gatwick I knew my size. 2 out of three perfect. The premium linen pair sadly came up larger as well as having a minor defect. So I wrapped up package and followed online instructions for returns. No FREE return. The product came from Ireland but returns are to Italy. The post office informed me that normal post with no tracking and insurance value of up to £20 would cost over £5. The option with tracking and insurance cover of up to £50 cost over £10. The product I was returning cost £35. Do the maths! So reluctantly rather than lose nearly a third of the cost I have chosen to keep shoes that don't fit and have a minor defect. I telephoned the company but apparently all lines were busy. I left contact details as requested and still have not heard from them. So BEWARE! Great product if you know your size. Any issues with your order and frankly you will lose out with time, effort and money. Not acceptable at all to run a successful online business! Order in a shop if you can find the right size!! I shall never order online again with this company!
The worst customer service experience! NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN
I wanted to buy a pair of shoes for my husband for his birthday, and liked the Urbis from Soul collection. There was no size chart on the product, even though a message saying to look at the "the chart below" was displaying. So, I contacted them via email.
The first reply I received they obviously did not care to read my question close enough. I emailed again and asked what size I should choose "the European or the Brazilian" and even said I had bought shoes in Brazil before, and knew the sizes were different.
The second reply I received they mentioned the flip flop chart and even put a print screen on the chart.
Here is what they said on the last reply prior to purchasing:
"We confirm you hereby that the size charts for the Soul Collection sent the 19.04. is correct. Furthermore, the same chart will be visible again on our online store during the next week."
Well, I made the purchase and they shipped me a 39 instead of 41 - they sent a European size, and I ordered a Brazilian size, FOLLOWING THE CHART THEY THEMSELVES EMAILED TO ME.
To my surprise they called it "a point of view" and even after I sent them back all the emailed I received from them, they refuse to admit they made a mistake, and refuse to reimburse my shipping costs. Below is their last reply:
"Dear Paula,
Thanks for your mail and this information.
It seems there has been a mixed up between the "flip flop" collection and the "Soul" collection.
Indeed, Flip flops are mentioned in Brasilian size, Soul products are mentioned in European sizes.
If you take the "flip flop" chart in account to order an article of the Soul collection, the shoes will never meet your requirment.
In this regard, we have to remain on our point of view concerning the refund you are asking for.
We remain at your service."
