Jessica was very informative friendly and made us feel very comfortable. as this is our first family holiday and we were so unsure of best area etc she gave us some choices and helped us pick the best one

From walking into the shop and leaving you are made so welcome. I was so pleased to see Chloe back as I like to deal with her as she goes into everything and is a great help nothings a bother for her.

Helpful friendly staff. They answered our questions and gave us all the information we needed

As we are fairly regular visitors we have a good relationship with the staff. We have never had any complaints with the way we are treat or the holidays we have booked

The travel advisors are so helpful and full of ideas. I have used Hays travel for a few years now and I find it by far the best way to secure my holiday. They always help me to get the best deal with time and patience.
They go above and beyond to make the booking as smooth and easy as possible and explain everything on the way.
I much prefer to book my holiday face to face with an advisor as, if l have any problem, I have that contact who can reassure me. I will always use Hays!

After over 10 years booking with Hays travel in jarrow we won’t ever again. My family have always went to hays travel in jarrow for many years now, we’ve never had problems until I booked a solo trip to Australia. During my time in Australia I’ve had several problems with transfers. I’ve had drivers from transfers contact me letting me know that my flight numbers aren’t correct. Drivers have contacted me confirming my booking and it has been stated on several occasions that I have no luggage. There have been occasions the transfers have turned up to collect me unaware I had luggage and struggled to fit my suitcase in the vehicle. I’ve had drivers collect me from airports and have incorrect information about which hotel I’m staying at and I’ve even had the transfer company send me rude messages because Hays travel have told them to drop off and pick up from a hotel that was 27 hours away. The contact number they gave me for the transfer company was also a disconnected line so I couldn’t reach anyone to change times for transfers. Some of my transfers were collecting me 4 hours before a domestic flight. Australia requires you to arrive at the airport 2 hours before departure for all domestic flights. The journeys between the airport and my hotel were from 6-25 minutes. I’m lucky I had family at home that could contact hays to resolve these issues as for a solo traveller this can be quite scary when in a country so far from home. This can be scary for parents as their children are travelling around the world and encountering problems because the travel company hasn’t done it correctly. If anyone is wanting to book solo travel especially if you are a young adult I wouldn’t book with hays travel in jarrow. The staff were very reluctant to admitting they had messed a lot of things up with the booking. My mam had to provided evidence from drivers and on the paperwork that they hadn’t done it correctly. Layla who booked my holiday provided no apology and nothing for the inconvenience has been done. I will be taking this further as I’ve spend over 5k with you and these type of things aren’t acceptable especially when booking with a travel agent. I booked with you because I felt like everything would be done correctly and nothing would be forgotten or mixed up and it’s actually been a lot worse than if I were to book everything myself. I won’t be booking another holiday with you as your staff don’t know what they are doing when it comes to basic things and they don’t know how things run in other countries. My family will no longer be booking with you either.
