In reply to your belated , standard apology. Although appreciating your minimal effort have waited a month 2c if appropriate compensation was forthcoming. As I expected nothing. Take your money ruin your holiday and wash your hands of responsibility. Please be forwarned. Book with this agent at your own risk.
Update 26/9/24. My contract is with Hayes travel. Your issue is with a secondary travel company. Take ownership of the issues raised, compensate accordingly and seek redress from Mercury. You proport to be a large travel company stand up for your customers

I have always been happy with my dealings with Hays Travel and this occasion was the same. Very helpful, charming agent Chloe could not have been better.

I wasn’t sure where I wanted to go and the Sandbach staff were very patient and knowledgeable. I didn’t book a holiday until the next day and yet they were still as helpful. Your staff are a credit to you - in my experience they great all customers like old friends!

Alex really listened and understood what i wanted, and she achieved it in about half an hour. Went home to confirm that all travelling were happy, i rang her back and booked and paid. All done within an hour. Will definitely use Hays Sandbach again

Rachel was very quick at responding and very helpful. She was answering all of my questions and patient with me when changing my options and asking for more quotes.
She also gave me some personal tips for my trip based on the trip she's taking which was very nice.

Hays have accepted my booking, and payment in full, for a holiday they subsequently advised they cannot provide. More than a month on, my money is yet to be returned. I paid Hays, Hays owe me the refund.
I am told Hays senior management are in discussion with the ultimate provider and they hope to repay me "in the next couple of days". This message has been repeated multiple times and my patience is wearing very thin. Hays' recovery of costs is an issue solely between them and the provider. In the meantime Hays have not discharged their duty to return my money. One star is being generous.

Update 29 Aug: I have now received the refund, so I'm feeling much less cross. Rating consequently relaxed to two star.
