Friendly but could’ve done the same myself at home
The lady we spoke with was friendly and overall helpful but when showing us the options on her screen I noticed several tabs open so questioned whether we had to book from that particular site (we were booking a package holiday) and the site was associated to an airline. I asked about another popular package holiday site which she then looked at and that is eventually where we found something that my family and I agreed was the best place and deal. I think overall we could have done the same ourselves at home and saved a little money by doing so but as we’d found what we wanted and spent the time there finding it, we decided to book there and then, particularly as it was a fairly last minute booking. The lady was friendly but didn’t have any particular knowledge of the area, only reading along with me what was written on the site website. I certainly don’t expect every employee to have knowledge of all places so that is not a complaint just an observation. Overall friendly but felt I could do the same myself which is why I’m giving 3 stars.

Superb customer service
Alison, the colleague from Hays Winchester who organised our travel for us, spent her time to find availability for the cruise we had requested. Alison was very knowledgeable, patient and sought the best deals for us. Everything was very well explained. The staff know us in the shop from previous bookings and are always very welcoming and helpful.

Staff approach
Always welcoming and attentive service from your team, particularly Claire who dealt with my travel plans patiently over a period of about a month. Her past experience as a flight attendant was somehow reassuring and useful.
