Very quick and efficient. Excellent to deal with.

I had a very disappointing experience with Harvey Donaldson & Gibson. The surveyor who visited my fully refurbished home was quite rude and abrupt throughout the inspection. To make matters worse, the valuation they gave was significantly below what the property was worth.

When I raised my concerns, the manager refused to take my call, which only added to the frustration. I had to go to great lengths to get in touch with a director directly via email. After a lot of back and forth, I was eventually issued a full refund, but only after a considerable amount of time and persistence.

I then had my property valued by a different company, and they came in £12,500 higher than Harvey Donaldson & Gibson’s figure. I went on to sell my home and achieved this higher price. Had I relied on the original valuation, I would have lost that money, as most buyers cannot afford to pay far over the home report value in Scotland.

Would not recommend. Poor service, poor attitude, and a poor outcome

Home report was carried out in a very professional manner and communications between myself and stuart was excellent.

Worked with this firm in carrying out a home buyers report, and Andrew came to carryout a valuation. He did a very thorough job in ascertaining with his cladding department as to what the category would be for the main walls, and was diligent in carrying out the appropriate checks in advance and liaising with me through the process.
