My experience with this ADHD Right to…

My experience with this ADHD Right to Choose referral service has been extremely disappointing.

The administration is shocking. Emails are constantly ignored, and when you do manage to get in touch, responses are either delayed for weeks or don’t come at all. Communication is virtually non-existent.

The most concerning part is that patients are being left without vital ADHD medication because of these delays. Medication should never be disrupted due to poor administration, yet this seems to happen far too often.

The lack of organisation, communication, and support has caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. Patients deserve a reliable service, especially when it comes to managing an ongoing medical condition.

I would not recommend this compamy/service based on my experience. Significant improvements are urgently needed to ensure patients receive the care and support they require.

This has no reflection on my clinician she has been nothing but amazing but constantly being let down by this awful company’s delays

Terrible

Terrible. I am so disappointed with my experience from first to last.
If looking for ADHD assessment please do your research.
Using RTC pathway I should have looked into why there was no wait for assessment with them and really wish I had selected literally any of the alternative providers.

Assessors were very difficult to understand due to language barriers/discrepancies. My assessment B was a waste of time, she did not take any of my points into account and basically wrote me off. I have been attempting to make contact since for a second opinion/ reassessment, however, have yet to have a response from my appeal/complaint I submitted a month ago.

This company is atrocious

This company is atrocious! Stay away from them! They start off very attentive and friendly. It’s all a lie. They Send you numerous text reminders and emails. Once you have the diagnosis they pushed my tablets onto me straight away. I was on a high dose and I experienced extremely high side effects. I contacted the clinic and they booked me in for a Saturday appointment which I was grateful for. However the gp was so rude and wouldn’t let me speak. She was rushing everything I was saying. I was very distressed and upset. The gp I think was called Vanessa, was not friendly or sympathetic. She left the phone bang on 11 for her next appointment. I hadn’t finished what I was saying to her. I was in mental health crisis and this is how I was treated. Absolutely appalling. Then I have ran out of tablets and I cannot get hold of the clinic by phone or email. I am now experiencing side effects as they are coming out of my system. My gp or pharmacy cannot help me because there’s nothing on my notes of my prescription. I have now had to call 111 then go to A&E because my mental health has got worse. This company is messing peoples lives around and I cannot believe how they have treated me. I am waiting to change my right to choose clinic. Do not use this company

Please save yourself and choose another RTC provider

The service is awful. Save yourself the stress and go to another RTC provider, even if you have to wait longer.

The whole operation is outsourced, their tele-support is a call center with people who cannot understand basic English. You can't escalate when you're out of medication and they don't respond to email...at all.

The clinician's rush you through titration in attempt to get you off their books asap...even if the medication isn't working...all in the name of £££££...

Whomever runs this company should be ashamed of how you treat vulnerable people whilst simultaneously billing the NHS for a below par service.

Avoid! Terrible communication, contradictory & confusing messages thus far.

The practitioner did not attend for assessment B, 20minutes into the appointment time she texted stating there were technical issues and to reschedule.
Had to wait three days for another booking link, that didn't work. Later finally managed to book assessment B for tomorrow and received email confirmation for this. I've now just received a text message stating "You've forgotten to book assessment B.." Impossible to get through via telephone. I've e-mailed again but I'm still waiting for a reply from last weeks e-mail. There's an ongoing theme of contradictory communication from them (e.g. we're still waiting for ..., when they have actually received the information already). Very concerning and unprofessional practice, causing undue stress.

Awful service

Awful service! Trying to get hold of them is like getting blood from a stone! Twice they have let me run out of meds and they couldn’t care less. Formal complaint raised today and I expect they will ignore that too!

Would give zero stars if that was…

Would give zero stars if that was possible.
Totally useless company. Communication is very poor, and extremely lacking, no links to join appointments, forms not sent, wrong forms sent, reminders to return forms that haven’t even been received. They say there isn’t a waiting time.

There is.

They just don’t ever get back to you.

During assessment the clinician was asking me about links between ADHD and ASD- surely that’s his job to know that?
Don’t touch this company with a barge pole - they are totally awful.

Would NOT recommend.

Why I recommend HHMinds

I chose HHMinds from the Right to Choose list through my GP for my Adult Autism assessment, and I am thrilled that I did.

Their entire process is outlined on their website, and they stuck to that process. Nothing was unexpected, and they delivered what they said they would.

My biggest fear in assessments - and I have had many in my lifetime - is: “will the assessor hear me?”. I can say honestly that both of my assessors did.

My Part A assessor was professional, engaged and resilient when we were faced with challenging internet connection issues. He encouraged me to have a break at any time, which I did, and it made all the difference for me.

My Part B assessor was kind, approachable and professional. She was really engaged with me and she was really affirming of the difficulties that I shared.

Both of my assessors made me feel heard. They were both fully present with me, and gently guided me back to the designated questions when I was wandering off course. And they both gave me space and gentleness to share parts of my story that were relevant to the assessment, but could not fit into the designated questions.

They both stuck to the assessment timings - 2 hours for Part A and 1 hour for Part B. I did not feel rushed or like I was boring them at any point. For me, that is what makes a good assessor, great.

HHMinds’ process is easy to follow for a complicated system: their process guided me each step of the way on what I needed to do. Fill in questionnaires, book appointments for each assessment. I let the system select my assessors for me, but there is a drop down menu for the option of selecting a specific assessor. My assessors were also both clinical mental health practitioners as well as trained autism assessors, and for me this made all the difference as I live with mental health conditions as well. They took my conditions into careful consideration when making their final diagnosis.

I consented to them recording my assessments which was an assurance for me and it meant that both of my assessors had the freedom to be fully present with me. They were no more than 10 mins late to my appointment, both due to connectivity issues, which personally did not bother me, particularly because they were so present and engaged with me.

My paperwork is clear, thorough and personalised to me.

I am glad that I trusted HHMinds with such an important assessment.

I referred my teenage daughter for both…

I referred my teenage daughter for both ASD and ADHD assessments. Once HH received the referrals I got forms to complete straight away. I sent the completed forms on a Friday and the following Friday my daughter had an apt for an ASD assessment for the next Wednesday. Georgie McCay completed this yesterday, she was amazing! She instantly made my daughter feel at ease and openly empathised when she was emotional. Georgie said she would f/up the ADHD referral in triage, within a half hour I got an apt for an ADHD assessment for the following week! All my contacts with admin have been nothing but pleasant and professional. They have been so accommodating and responsive. I have read some reviews in total contrast to this. I am hopeful the rest of my daughter's journey with HH will continue to be positive. From my experiences so far I highly recommend this provider.

Inadequate in every way

The doctors consistently fail to show up to appointments, undermine patients experience as well as belittling them. They forgot to titrate me and ignore calls. Terrible experience from start to finish.

Strongly advise against

Strongly advise against – administrative chaos, lack of continuity of care, and playing with patient's health.

I have been a patient at Health Harmonie Minds since July 2025 under a Shared Care Agreement (SCA). Initially, everything was fine, and my first clinician was engaged and actually listened to my needs. Unfortunately, since the beginning of 2026, my treatment has turned into an absolute nightmare, and my constant battle with this clinic has been ongoing for 6 months now.
I am writing this review as a last resort in hopes that someone from management will finally look into my case and stop ignoring me.

Here is what I have been dealing with:
- Endangering my health and arbitrary medication changes: Every appointment is with a different clinician who completely ignores the previous arrangements. Instead of the agreed-upon evening booster dose, a new clinician (without any consultation with my previous one) prescribed my medication for EVERY OTHER day. This completely dysregulated my body. Another clinician, instead of listening to my concerns, abruptly took away my evening medication, putting me through horrible and dangerous mood swings.

- Outrageous lack of professionalism: When I finally managed to get another appointment and asked the clinician if my severe symptoms were caused by taking the medication every other day, her response was: "I don't know, those are your problems, not mine".
- Absurd procedures: The clinic actually deemed me "stable" and tried to discharge me on the exact same appointment where they had just increased my medication dose! How can a patient be considered stable if they haven't even started taking the new dose yet?
- Total mess with the Shared Care Agreement: For weeks, I've been fighting for the clinic and my GP to communicate. HH Minds sent the SCA with the wrong dose, then claimed they sent the corrected one, while my GP saw absolutely nothing in their system. Currently, my GP is rejecting the SCA because they require a formal letter explaining the sudden dose change, which HH Minds claims they "already sent." Meanwhile, I am left without my medication.
- Zero patient care: Getting through to their reception is a miracle – you have to wait in the phone queue for hours. On Monday, a manager was supposed to call me urgently to resolve this 6-month-long deadlock. It is Thursday now, and nobody has reached out.

Instead of helping me, this clinic is causing me enormous amounts of stress. I feel completely ignored, and decisions regarding my body and health are being made by people who don't even bother to read my medical notes. I strongly warn anyone considering starting their treatment here.

I demand immediate contact from management to resolve this unacceptable situation and issue my medication.

Very poor customer care and no communication

It started off positive..I didn’t have to wait too long for Part A of my adult autism assessment through the NHS RTC. The assessor was lovely..she took the time to listen to me, and seemed understanding and compassionate.
Since then however, it has all gone massively downhill. I had already stated to HHM through an email, and also to my assessor that I do not have an informant, due to my age and my parents being deceased. I didn’t receive any response.
I had also asked about having Part B of my assessment face to face, as I had been told by the Hereford and Worcester ICB that they had a contract with HHM as a provider to conduct face to face assessments. HHM said they only do video calls. I asked them to please double check. HHM then sent me an email the following day saying that they will be doing face to face assessments as of June 1st (as part of a new contract) and that these will be held in my LOCAL area. I asked if I could wait until June for my second appointment (it was only a week away anyway). I had no answer. I have sent several emails asking the same question and have been ignored. No one reads any emails…it’s a waste of time sending them. I wasn’t very happy when I received a booking link to book my second remote appointment and also a link for my informant to complete. Out of sheer frustration I completed the informant questionnaire myself, and I phoned HHM to ask again about having a face to face appointment. No one got back to me, so I went ahead and booked a video appointment for Tuesday 26th May. I felt backed in a corner to book as the booking link was due to expire and I didn’t want to lose my space!! I got myself mentally prepared for my assessment, so I was thrown off guard to receive a voicemail over the Bank Holiday Weekend, telling me that this appointment had now been cancelled and another one made for Sunday 31st May..no email confirmation was sent, no booking link sent and no explanation was given for cancelling. I decided to call HHM on Tues 26th (whilst at work..no other choice as they don’t open until 9am) to explain that the Sunday appointment wasn’t convenient, I would’ve preferred to be sent the link to re-arrange my own appointment that was convenient, and I asked about a face to face appointment again. I was told I’d have an answer that day. Later on, I was told that I could have a face to face appointment in June, however it would take place in Bromsgrove. I explained that Bromsgrove was at least 90 minutes each way from Hereford, so that’s not local to my area at all, which is contrary to what their email stated. I was basically told to take it or leave it. So I decided to send an email marked as URGENT to the governance team and also to the complaints department asking for reasonable adjustments (to not force autistic adults to make a 3 hour round trip) and to consider the Worcester Barbourne Health centre clinic (that HHM already use) as an alternative venue for my appointment. Their own policy states that they will respond within 48 hours of a complaint; it should be of no surprise to me that no one contacted me, yet I had hope that contacting the governance team would make a difference. How wrong I was! I’m in a predicament now where I have absolutely no way of cancelling the Sunday appointment as there is no option to do so on the text message link they sent, and they didn’t send any email either.
HHM don’t answer the phone most of the time, let alone on weekends (yet will cancel appointments on the weekend)…so I have no choice but to attend my assessment, in my tiny home with 2 teenage girls in the house, and my ex partner will be knocking at my door during the assessment, as it’s his scheduled visitation time with our daughter.
How on earth am I supposed to relax and give my attention to my appointment in that environment?! I have no choice but to attend, as I’m convinced they’ll use my ‘no show’ as an excuse to penalise me if I don’t.
I’m so angry about this situation. HHM have failed me and my advice to anyone reading this is to use a different provider if you can. The waiting times may be longer, but HHM have no customer care whatsoever. I only chose them as I was told they had a contract with H&W ICB to conduct face to face assessments, but they’ve either done everything they can to prevent me from doing so, or they’re incompetent. I’m so disgusted by the lack of communication that i’m going to complain to the ICB about my experience.

I am writing this review to warn people…

I am writing this review to warn people who may be referred to Healthharmonie for ADHD assessment.
If your healthcare provider refers you here, I strongly recommend asking to be referred elsewhere. There are plenty of alternative providers.
Despite the wait and anticipation dominating my life for the last five months, I never actually got the opportunity to access Healthharmonie’s services.
I was referred in January. I completed all of the forms — which was not easy for someone struggling with possible ADHD and executive dysfunction — only to be discharged tonight, 26th May, eight weeks later, because Healthharmonie supposedly believe I am struggling with suicidal ideation and should “take the time to get better” before returning for an assessment.
That decision is DUCKING bizarre for two reasons.
Firstly, every time the forms asked about suicidal ideation, I explicitly stated that I did not want to discuss something so serious online and would rather explain it once I had actually spoken to someone from Healthharmonie.
That conversation never happened.
Secondly, if they genuinely believed I was unstable enough to discharge, why wait so long to tell me? Were they not concerned about my welfare?
I could have spent those weeks pursuing alternative providers instead of waiting in limbo.
This is also from a company whose website proudly states: “Your Safety Is Our Priority.”
Healthharmonie claim they can assess ADHD within one week*.
*If forms are filled in promptly.
Even with the asterisk, I find that immensely doubtful.
And yes, I did struggle to complete the forms quickly. But surely that is exactly what you should expect from patients seeking assessment for ADHD-related executive dysfunction?
Instead of accommodating that reality, Healthharmonie bombard you with repeated SMS reminders — five separate texts every few days — all sent from a no-reply number, leaving patients with no meaningful way to communicate back with their own service provider.
For people already struggling with overwhelm and executive dysfunction, this approach is not supportive. It demonstrates a staggering misunderstanding of the very people they are supposed to be helping.

Back in January, I summed the experience up like this:
“Hi thanks for reaching out about your challenges around completing tasks and potential Attention Deficit.
To get your phone call please complete and return these HALF A DOZEN FORMS.”
Ironically, during the months Healthharmonie kept me waiting, I actually improved significantly on my own. At this point, I no longer care whether I ever receive an ADHD assessment. I only care about getting better.
For me personally, the SNRI venlafaxine has helped enormously with mood, focus, and functioning. Obviously speak to your healthcare provider, but I have benefited far more from practical treatment than from endlessly chasing an assessment.
Finally, I would just like to point out that the word is spelled “harmony,” not “harmonie.”
Unless, of course, the name is meant to suggest putting patients in harm’s way to save money.
Which, based on my experience, would be surprisingly accurate.
Jack Wall, Hampshire

Experience of autism assessment

I used right to choose to be assessed for autism. They got back to me after my referral in the same week and my first assessment was around 6 weeks later. Their communication was good except I didn’t receive the video links for both assessments but when I emailed for the link I had a response the following day. Both assessors were patient and made me feel comfortable and in the end I was given my diagnosis and told the next steps. My mum couldn’t attend the assessments so they gave her a form to fill out instead asking questions about my childhood.

If zero stars was an option, it would be for Health Harmonie Minds

If zero stars was an option i would be giving this company that.

Assessment A went well - as a patient i was told that yes i was clearly showing symptoms of ADHD and would proceed to Assessment B.

Well, Assessment B arrives and what an absolutely diabolical service - i can't actually call it a service because it wasn't - nothing but a dis-service! The "healthcare professional" and i use that term very loosely as there was nothing professional about her, had made up her mind before entering the video consultation what the outcome of the call was going to be. I was not listened to. I was interrupted. I was spoken over. My dad also supported me in the video calls by providing further information and he was nothing but INSULTED by this woman. The call ended so abruptly our heads were left spinning.

How can someone make a clinical decision about someone's health when you have not listened to the patient? When you have not listened to their parent? When you spend less than an hour talking over and interrupting your patient?

I would avoid this service at all costs and now i'm navigating my way through to get a second opinion by a service and a team who are professional and who will take time to listen to their patients.

Shocking experience

Ladies all really nice in the office but had my autism assessment A on 3/5/2026 and was told two weeks later I would have my assessment B and today 17/5/2026, I was supposed to have my Assessment B the nurse who was doing my assessment wasn't even slightly prepared beforehand despite it being pre booked, she hadn’t checked to see if she had the report form Assessment A beforehand let alone read it.

Then she put me on hold for 10 minutes only to come back and tell me the previous assessor hadn't actually uploaded it yet, and when I got really distressed as this was not what was meant to happen here, she then put me on hold again for another 10mins only to come back and say it needs to be rebooked and I should complain if I'm not happy

I was inconsolable as now it's longer than two weeks i don't know where my personal information is and moreover neither did she, She said she had seen it, then she said he hadnt uploaded it, she didn't really make any sense, then she said she would need to rebook and asked for my availability for this coming week, I'm so upset its disgraceful they can do that to a person pure disorganisation someone should have checked when booking the second assessment that the first assessor had actually done his job properly and the second assessor should have had everything she needed prior to starting the call
