I started this process in early…

Update: had a good exchange with some of the receptionists/ front of house team (circa April 17th and May 1st and May 5th)- they have all been very helpful… however, I started the process of seeking an ADHD diagnosis via the Right to Choose pathway, in early October 2023- back when I was still based in West Yorkshire. I went back to the bottom of the assessment waiting list after moving house in October 2024, as I needed to change regions. On reflection I’m not sure why as my assessor is based in Birmingham and has conducted the whole process online. EIGHT MONTHS since my Assessment A… and I’m still waiting to have my titration restarted after numerous, dangerous errors by the assessors. Every step of the way, from the delays on responses and general lack of communication (with the exception of automated texts) incorrect assessment reporting (Assessment A and Assessment B reports had gaps and errors) the lack of follow ups,
Missing symptom reporting information whilst I was in titration, massive GDPR BREACHES- including details copied and pasted from another patients assessment (I’m sober & it contained sensitive information about their conduct & abuse of substances)… every step of the way, I saw a different assessor, no continuity of care, I was prescribed 50mg of stimulant medication without an ECG or thorough log of my family history, as a result I had heart issues on the meds & was referred to a&e. I’m still waiting on meds & if I could I would go privately but it’s taken three years to get to this point… it’s a desperate situation. I was so happy to go via Right to Choose initially, but this is just a joke. It’s not a service; it’s an endurance test & a health hazard.

Incompetent

Awful. Lady assessing was more bothered about the questions on her sheet than listening to/probing my answers. Minimal pre-form checks. Report had multiple errors. Had to be escalated for investigation. Corrections supposedly updated but STILL report showed factually incorrect info. Awful experience. Recommend Care ADHD who have been incredible…

Don't waste your NHS right to choose …

Don't waste your NHS right to choose referral here if you are looking for a thorough ASD assessment. No understanding of how to assess high masking females. Medical rather than psychosocial perspective applied.
Assessor wasn't listening and asked if I was an only child after I had been speaking about my sibling. Whole assessment was quite distressing.

ADHD assessment

I recently completed an ADHD assessment with this service and had a very positive experience. The waiting time was short and the process was thorough, well-structured and clearly explained throughout. My assessment was completed in two parts by different clinicians, who had very different styles but were both kind, understanding and made me feel at ease, which was really important to me.

What stood out most was how carefully my case was considered. Despite limitations with third-party input, the clinician was able to recognise inconsistencies and base the assessment on a comprehensive understanding of my past experiences as well as my current presentation. I felt listened to, taken seriously and the whole process felt very validating.

The assessment has provided clarity and a better understanding of longstanding difficulties I have had throughout my life and I feel more confident about accessing appropriate support going forward. I would recommend this service to others seeking an ADHD assessment.

I think the service should be audited…

I think the service should be audited and plan to make an official recommendation to this effect.
I dont believe they're following NICE Guidance, the titration process is extremely rushed and Ive had concerning side effects and now not sure I want to re engage. I suspect they are booming financially.

I wish I read these reviews before…

I wish I read these reviews before going through HH. I experienced unprofessional and inefficient service. Very poor communication and unnecessarily long delays. Diagnosed back in early December 2025, it’s now almost end of March 2026 and still no prescription! I was told one thing by a clinician, then asked to go through extra steps and appointments that contradicted that. The whole process has felt disorganised and extremely frustrating, especially when trying to access much needed treatment after diagnosis. Makes me wonder if the delays are deliberate! Avoid them like the plague!

Really feeling safe or comfortable…

Really not feeling safe or comfortable with this service. Everything feels rushed! Possible just making money scheme. It’s not reassuring or pleasant. I’m not sure how qualified anyone is as all referred to as clinicians. I just explained in my first titration appointment that I felt he was rushing me and the man started arguing back with me saying he had given me the most time he had ever given anyone in his career and I was on the call for approx 31 minutes and he was late joining!! I have anxiety which is written in all my reports and gp records! Ended up in tears throughout the appointment it was awful. I don’t usually like to take medication so it’s a big life changing thing for me but the experience has left me feeling so unsafe I don’t even know if I will take them now. Feel Im going to have to start from scratch or just walk away.

HH Minds Don’t medicate

Partly feel like this company is frauding the nhs…
I could be wrong but all video calls didn’t seem like they was from the uk .
Or just done from home . Blurred backgrounds, no work surroundings .. it seems as though the video calls are scripted with the most basic adhd questions, they don’t seem up to date on adhd … quick and easy to diagnose but seem to hide when it comes to actually prescribing medication .. I think it’s fraud. Awful experience!!!

I don't feel safe with this service

I don't feel safe with this service. I am thinking I need to start the process again from scratch with another practice as this one has completely failed me.
The diagnosis part was quick and timely, but after that the titration review and prescriptions have been hit and miss. They simply do not respond to emails, I have to call early in the morning to talk to a rushed support desk so they can book me a medication appointment for the next day perhaps. I have run out of medication for 4 days now, and I have sent emails this week and also 2 weeks ago to the previous doctor.

It appears doctors stay for 30 to 60 days and then rotate and the old one never responds again. I am assuming this practice is burning out staff, they quit and patients have to bridge the gaps in "care".

They do not seem to have any system to organise patient records, they can't refer stuff like an ECG from NHS, it is all a hot mess.

What makes it worse is that this practice is setting such a bad example of how to treat ADHD patients that will ultimately make things worse for ADHD in general in the UK.

Had too go through the same…

Had too go through the same questioner's more than once had to send in medical reports from diagnosis years ago. Then had have an appointment to go through questions then gave a second appointment thinking it was the next step. No it was the same one. No communication to be then called and told we aren’t going to help you. So thanks for sending me back in to a slump of rejection and feeling abandoned. No medication change just pure rejection no follow up care anywhere

No show appointments

Sat waiting online for an 8am appointment from 7.50-9.10am. Dr didn’t show. Had to wait until 9am for the office to open, to wait 20 mins to get through and be told it was my fault, I hadn’t shown and the dr was online for 15 mins waiting for me. Total lie. Now waiting for a callback “when they can”! Terrible customer service and really distressing experience.

Fast and reliable.

After my GP referring me to another well known company and after a wait of three months I decided to obtain a referral to Health harmonies minds. I have nothing but praise for them. Within a week I heard from them and everything was dealt with so well. I had my diagnosis promptly and the contact with them was always so helpful. Well done Health harmonies.

Assessments factually incorrect, no working phone, no answer to emails

I received my assessments and they were incorrect, leading to a wrong curse of treatment. I sent an email highlighting the issues and requesting a call to review them. After more than two weeks during which I sent 3 more emails requesting a response, I received a note which left clear that all my emails and request to review the assessment and treatment had not been even read. In addition they have no phone service, so there is no way to reach them, what has my treatment wrong and paralysed.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed. As many other reviews here, I was diagnosed fairly quickly, communication was great up until the end of assessment b.

I had my assessment b on the 9th of October, I have yet not received any report of the diagnosis, neither has my GP. I had my first titration appt nearly 5 weeks later, which the clinician wanted to refer to MDT ref the medications I'm on? Although there are MANY other cases of people using the same stimulant medications as per /r/ADHDUK, many of whom were quite surprised that a qualified clinician should need to refer for further information... Ironically, the titration report arrived over a week later, specifying that I should hear by the following Monday.. (ha what a joke, especially considering I don't have my assessment reports)

Either way, I was told it would be no longer than 1 week until I heard anything more... It's now been nearly 3 weeks and I still don't have a follow up appointment or any further information!

I've called and emailed, promised call backs multiple times, at least when I can get through....
