Really great service. Ordered a blanket as a gift for Christmas which arrived the next day. The recipient decided they would like a different one so we arranged an exchange. It took a while for the replacement blanket to come in to stock so to make up for it we were sent some Alpaca socks! The socks and the new blanket are lovely. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love my blanket and pillows. I used them the first weekend we were allowed outside to sit with other people and they worked perfectly, even though it has rained earlier. The water resistant backing worker, and the bright colors really brightened the mood.

Quick delivery and very good initial impressions
Ordered the red check picnic blanket on a Sunday. Arrived just 8 days later here in Hong Kong. Easy purchase and delivery. Not used it yet, but quality seems top notch. Definitely feels like a premium product.

The pink checked wooden picnic blanket I ordered has just arrived.....only took 2 weeks to get to NZ. It is gorgeous..... cannot buy anything like this in New Zealand and am so happy about it

A tad expensive but very nice looking and great quality. An option with a washable attached strap would be nice, since you would not be able to loose or forget it then (we have two little kids, this happens).

We manufacture all our picnic blankets at British mills, which means higher cost, and our belts are made in London. We try to be as competitive as possible but keeping the manufacturing local has an impact on pricing as I am sure you know. We did think of a belt that stayed attached, however, it meant that a corner of the blanket would have an uncomfortable part due to the belt attachment, and we really wanted to make sure that every cm of the blanket was enjoyable for a family picnic spread. Also, as the belt is made of real leather, making it washable was not an option.
It really helps our brand when we get review/feedback, thank you very much for that. We do hope that you and your family will have lots of lovely picnics this summer and enjoy the picnic blankets.

We are sorry to hear that the packages did not arrive safely to Switzerland. The 4 blankets were individually packed in 2 boxes to ensure safe passage. If you did take any photos when the damaged package arrived, can you please forward them to us so that we can follow up with UPS. We always ensure that we pack our products as safely as possible without over consuming on packing material, trying to be as eco-friendly as possible. However during transportation if any damages occur, we always take it up with the courier.
If you do have photos, please let us know.

Damaged in transit
Horrible packaging. Package was thin plastic, poorly taped, and ripped upon arrival. Blanket was dirty upon opening. Please consider sturdier packaging for international shipments.
Update: Heating & Plumbing contacted me to address the damaged item, explaining that it was likely damaged in customs and offering a replacement

Thank you very much for your review. We were unaware of the situation and really apologise for the issue.
We have changed our packaging from cardboard boxes to 100% recyclable bags during Summer 2020, as we are trying to limit the brand carbon footprint. The bags are eco-friendly and this also reduces the weight and the impact of the transportation on the planet.
There is usually no problem during transportation and we had only one issue with a bag slightly torn before your issue came up. We suspect the packaging was damaged in the courier’s conveyor belt.
We will send you an email privately to discuss the issue. Once again, we really apologise for the inconvenience and we hope that this will not prevent you from enjoying your new picnic rug.

25/03/2021 Update: After being in touch with Lauren, we have come to the conclusion that the US customs have opened the package, very most likely to check we were not sending plumbing spare parts, as the customer found an invoice for plumbing supplies (not ours obviously) which seemed to have been mixed up by US customs from another package. We love our tongue-in cheek name, but it has some small drawbacks :-)!
We are sending Lauren a replacement, so she can fully enjoy her new picnic blanket.
