We are a family business, owned by Ben and Kara Hanna, that values premiere, quality roses and the preservation of unique and rare roses. Located in the fertile Willamette Valley in Oregon, we are continuing the legacy of John and Louise Clements who founded the nursery back in 1972 on their own small farm. Our offices are still located in the farmhouse where they lived in St. Paul, Oregon. We are passionate about hand propagating each rose to ensure that we provide our customers with the best own-root roses available. We are committed to providing own-root roses that provide profuse blooms, are winter hardy, are disease resistant, and are true to variety. While own-root roses cannot be quickly produced, like grafted roses, we think the difference and quality is worth it.

Healthy roses arrived in excellent condition. I love the instructions on the box—nothing to complain about. I received the roses I wanted for my garden. Perfect time to plant them in my zone.

It's been many years since I've…

It's been many years since I've purchased a rose bush. My first rose bushes that I purchased were for my first house 30 years ago. My Midas Touch is still with me and still producing beautiful roses. I saw Strike it Rich in a local rose garden and had to have it. Thank you Heirloom Roses for being my go to source for roses.

Instructions that came with the irises…

Instructions that came with the irises I ordered were for planting time which was passed when I ordered them. No other instructions were given. Is their growing season supposed to be during fall and winter or spring and summer?

The roses are absolutely beautiful

The roses are absolutely beautiful. I already have them in the ground and they are already starting to get leaves on them. This is the reason I come back to heirloom every time I need a rosebush. They are absolutely beautiful and so healthy.
