I was enrolled on a visual line of sight course with Heliguy, week beginning 14th October 2024 (work related) and was immediately impressed with how developed the company was.
I have little to no experience with drones and what organisations are out there teaching piloting therefore was impressed to see Heliguy so well equipped and how professional they came across.

The course itself was interesting and I learned a lot, I would like to note that the power point content was a struggle to get through and feel future courses would benefit more with practical sessions between presentations e.g. setting up and dismantling the drone, going through its features or even generating a notam or going through a flying session and what is required.

The trainers were excellent and very approachable. I spent the majority of my week with Lois who was a fantastic teacher with an excellent teaching style and was very positive towards everyone and their abilities. This I found was particularly good as anyone who is completely new to the drone world would feel right at ease with Lois who encouraged everyone and made the week fun.

Overall 4 stars to Heliguy the only criticism being the amount of powerpoint input (although understandable).

Bradley was an excellent instructor. I had a days worth of tuition in the run up to my assessment and his insight and instruction was spot on. Very knowledgeable and full of hints and tips to improve my flying and successfully pass the final assessment - which I did. Thanks a lot to Heliguy and especially Bradley. 5 star

I Ordered a Dji Mini 4 Pro Flymore Combo from Heliguys yesterday and it has just arrived fantastic service from them item factory sealed and cellophaned not everyone does this ordered from them before it's the place to go if you want unused items that have not been sent out returned and then sent to you I have been caught out with other companies in the past but never with Heliguys i will continue to purchase from them everytime many thanks for a really easy purchase.

The training course was great. Brandon and Lois were very helpful and informative. Our group was split and I had Lois as my instructor and she was amazing. Really supportive and was able to keep us calm. We had lots of laughs along the way!

Our groups split into 2 and Lois was an absolutely fantastic instructor who was able to keep everyone calm (which with us lot was a challenge) lots of laughs and learning and we all thankfully passed!

Just did the GVC course with Heliguy having never flown a drone previously. Great initial communication for the theory e-learning and on attending the practical training Tom gave a great introduction as to what to expect, and top marks to Chris who carried out the actual training and explained everything in a friendly and methodical manner. Highly recommended!

Recent completed a VLOS course with Heliguy. The course was organised very well and was presented without complaint. Louis who was my direct trainer will brill!!

Highly recommended Heliguy for training. It has been a long time for me doing anything like this, but the layout online and the support you get online from the whole team is fantastic. It made the whole process run so smoothly. Book with confidence through Heliguy and you won't regret it.

Simple to work through, help always on the end of an email or phone call, never any rush to do it.

Assessment very calm and relaxed with any nerves or pressure quickly taken away.

Great depth of knowledge with plenty of online resources.
Our trainer Lois was very informative and taught in a manner that was easy to understand.
She tailored the session to the gaps in our knowledge/ skills.

I wish I had completed the course in person. The instructors are very knowledgeable, and the reviews are very good. But I can't recommend the online course. I'm giving it 2 stars because the reviews indicate they are great in-person trainers. The Learning Management System is awful to use and not designed from a learner's perspective. From a person who has designed online training systems.

I purchased a DJI Neo fly more kit off Heliguy on the 6th September, I paid extra for next day before 12.00 delivery.
As I did not receive the package I contacted them via email with no response, the next day my parcel still did not arrive so I emailed them again still with no response ?
I am now on the 8th with no parcel no information from DPD and no correspondence from Heliguy, I will not be buying from them again, terrible service.
Update 9th: just had a message from DPD stating that my delivery will be made today ? Three days later.
UPDATE: 9th September, Today a gentleman called Mike contacted me from Heliguy and discussed my issue, the communication issue was because my emails was going to DPD not Heliguy which resolved that issue, the delivery problem was not really resolved as there was no reason by Heliguy or DPD for a four day delivery instead of next day before 12.00, Heliguy refunded my postage and apologized.

Training is made flexible and learning is structured to be active. Learning aids are professionally organised and delivered succintly.

If you need a UAV/Drone licence then Heliguy are certainly the company that can get that done for you. The Learning Management System which hosts the online training courses is well set up and the training videos are clear and easy to follow with 'tests' at the end of modules to solidify your learning. The Heliguy staff are helpful and knowledgeable. I would use them again. The onsite practical training was also very good but slightly less well organised.

Completed my A2 CoC and GVC with Heliguy last week. Having only flown a drone once in my life and having very little experience, this was a really positive experience. I can't recommend Heliguy and the specific instructors (Brandon, Ody and Lois) more. The course is very detailed and there is a lot of information to get through but the instructors helped break this down and make it manageable. Would definitely recommend.

I have recently completed my A2CofC/ GVC qualifications with Heliguy and it was a great experience. I had O.D, Brandon and Lois as my instructors (I was part of a group of 8 from my company) and I was coming from a background of having no experience at all with Drones whatsoever. The course was very detailed and professional and i couldn't fault the instructors at all. I would certainly recommend these guys going forward.

The whole process was simple to follow with their online training tools. The lessons are very detailed and provide everything you can need to become a qualified drone pilot. The exams were run very professionally.

Big shoutout to Mark at Heliguy! Super helpful on the phone this afternoon, super knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend!
