Bike came with several damages on main frame the color is scratched, the discs for breaks are bented, pedal screws are also damaged and it feels very weird while cycling. In general, main problem is with breaks, where the frame and "break holders" are badly manufactured and the breaks are useless, thus you need to replace them with another ones. The Bike is also smaller than was the product description. The communication from their side was very poor, I barely received tracking number (i had to ask for it twice). I wish I could give bigger rating, however, the whole bike is dissapointment... I have to invest at least another 100€ to make it at least properly working bike.

Ordered a scooter (order #17476). Told it takes 2 days to deliver. It took 5 days. Box was ripped wide open behind the plastic wrapping (appears it left factory in that state), the box itself was held shut by one single piece of clear tape (opened at customs and excise UK) and parts were MISSING (charger, assembly screws and allen key). Contacted helliot for support only to be ignored. I have had to source another charger and assembly screws from Amazon. Helliot are unreliable and once they have your money they don't care. I paid £200 for a £300 scooter, brand new, and now I know why it was cheaper because parts are missing. Not a good deal. DO NOT BUY FROM HELLIOT. I will be submitting a claim for the lost money on buying extra parts. I think an extended warranty on the battery would be a goodwill gesture should this charger that I have had no choice but to buy 3rd party damage the battery then I can send them the old for new (I have made absolutely sure the charger is correctly rated as close as possible to the manufacturers standards as stated in the instruction manual taking into account the availability on a UK plug (wattage is 71w in the manual yet I can only get an 84w charger). The assembly screws are above rated ISO standard).

The scooter itself has power (50%) but I am unable to road test it due to it being unsafe and partially charged. If there is anything wrong with its motor or battery then I think its safe to say that it will be dead in the water to the tune of £200+ and no way of getting any parts or help under warranty.. Frustrating to say the least.

Edit: having bought a new charger and screws the scooter works but performance specs definitely do not match the product for range and durability is questionable as the foldable joint creaks after just a few hours use.

25 March 2019: Still no reply even though they have acknowledged the problem. No communication. Review disputed for no valid reason except to hide the problem.

May 7th 2020. Helliot are abusing the trust pilot system by constantly reporting this review just to hide it. Trust pilot are condoning this behaviour when Helliot should be outright banned from trust pilot for abusing policies. Still no response from helliot. Once they have your money they don't care.

my bike is everything I hoped for and more the only issue I had was it tuned up a little later than planed but it was coming from Spain to the uk no duty to pay was a big help as well have recommended them to friends who are looking for good sturdy bikes with fat tires to use all year round thankyou so much guys I love it

Delivery took almost two weeks, our tracking details did not work so we could not find out when the package was arriving. The pedals were double threaded which was a pain.

Fabulous design, the quality is not impressive but it's worth for the price. I will probably buy another one for my son,

I bought the electric scooter for use with the motorhome. It isn’t particularly good uphill but I guess that is down to weight it’s carrying 🥺

Cheapest, but the quality is not impressive, never the less, it is worthy for the price, especially if you need something that you will use ocasionally.

Bike came according to timeframe.
Once assembled, breaks squeak very loudly and the slight bump and the handlebars and wheels completely mis-align, so have to stop and rest them
its been complimented as a very good looking bike by a lot of people, but the break and handlebar issues are increasing by the day

customer service disgusting has I was charged for a return that didn't make it to my door.
tracking number from the company was totally wrong and communicating through WhatsApp or email is a waste of time.

Got the bike according to estimated delivery date. I bought the Helliot urban (the yellow and black one) and it is really powerful and has a quick start. you can feel it is very strong and solid, meaning a bit heavy but not too much. the wheel is of a good size (20') when you use the bike without the battery support. It folds easily too.
Cons: a bit too powerful start, so no very practical to use in middle of busy places.
Battery doesn't really last the 30km (maybe in flat roads)
No taillight, and as the front light uses the bike battery, if you run out of power, you'll also get without any lighting. Overall quite happy with this purchase!

not moving a person of 115 kgs and person of 60kgs only reach 18 kmh very poor power.

to begin... Front fork of very poor quality, when i brake, the fork moves forward dramatically and if I'm not careful I can fall. The saddle is of very low quality. The rear wheel is a little crooked and the rear pinion has bent after 10km. The chain will lock the links and I will have to replace it. All the rest is of a very scarce material. Don't buy it, it's a scam.

Dear helliot, im loving the fatbike i bought from you!!! The bike has got 21 gears, butt i van only use 7, can you help me out please???!!!

5 stars only. Delivery was really fast from UK to NL, packaged well, tools inside, everything what you need. The bike is great, i almost ride 400km in 1 month, everything is great. I recommend this bikes e-shop.

I orderd a rear weel for my fixed gear bike. The weel was really well packed but when I opened it I noticed that the paint was badly scratched. I tried to get into contact with helliot-bikes but after two weeks I still did not get an reaction. The tire that came with the weel shows wear already after 30km cycling. I also noticed that the rim is not perfectly round, when cycling on a smooth surface you feel a wobble.

slow and heavy... but it’s soooo nice!

Ordering and recieving the goods went great. The ordered item did however seem used and not brandnew.

Fast delivery and exactly what I wanted.
