I wish I could give them 0 stars. I ordered a parcel from a website which was using them to deliver their items and after 3 failed attempts (where I wasn't given a time slot either) they said they will send my parcel back to the original retailer, I can't edit their stupid delivery preferences because their website assumes everyone has a garage, shed, letter box, reception etc.....erm what if I live on the moon? how will I tell your stupid driver where to keep my parcel if I'm not home. Some drivers are sensible they take their own initiative and will leave it with someone else at the property but I am very disappointed and angry with Hermes' rubbish customer service, rubbish website and rubbish response to complaints as a whole. DONT. USE. THEM.

Nothing but THIEVES!! Wouldn't even give one star but didn't have a choice, my parcel was stolen from there depo along with another lady's, looks to me like after they have been through the scanner the workers take there pick of our parcels. DISCUSTING I really hope people stop using you because there have been so many stolen items reported from your company it's unbelievable unfortunately I didnt know the sender of my parcel chose your UNTRUSTWORTHY company to send it by or I would of said to send via DPD or even royle bloody mail!

What an absolute nightmare of a company, awaiting a parcel that was meant to be delivered in the morning, 6hrs later still not here and nobody to contact! How on earth do they get the business? Absolute nonsense!!!

Another day, another non delivery.
The tracking said it would be delivered on Thursday, then that it had been delayed and would be delivered on Friday, then that it had been delivered at 21:46 - it wasn't - then that it would be delivered on Saturday. It still hasn't been delivered but can you get to a human at Hermes? Certainly not - and with 93% bad reviews I'm not surprised they don't want to talk to people. I do feel sorry for their drivers - I understand they are expected to do far too many deliveries each day and have to enter something in their system for every delivery to close the day off, whether delivered or not. All this for a pittance.
It reflects badly on the companies which choose to use them. In future, I'm going to try to shop online only with retailers NOT using Hermes.
Maybe one day I'll get the package I'm waiting for even though I don't seem to climb the delivery slot time scales - you know you won't get the parcel when the time slot is after 7pm. I'll be on the phone to the retailer on Monday.

Delivery due today it's 1:30pm... Still not left their warehouse. Tried to contact them to see when it will be delivered, was told I bought from a high Street retailer (I didn't, I purchased the Nintendo online store) and now have been told to contact them. To which their response was to contact Hermes... Useless customer service, not holding out for my delivery to arrive today.

They're useless and have rediculously bad customer service

I've always had issues getting parcels from Hermes but today takes the cake. Apparently I received my parcel yesterday at 4.56pm. I was in, no one came to my door.

Oh, and apparently I run a school for the gifted because my print name and signature are x

How does the driver think that's acceptable??

Honestly they are terrible, I get an email saying my parcel has been delivered. I am home no one has knocked and they have just decided to leave it on my driveway!

Parcel 1 - received text with delivery slot. No parcel received, tracking information not updated and parcel never seen or heard of again.
I’ll
Parcel 2 day one. Text received with time slot. Text received during time slot saying parcel delivered. No sign of parcel so looked on tracking information which showed a photo of someone else’s parcel in someone else’s letterbox, clearly showing their name and address.
Days 2 and 3 - no contact.
Day 4 - no text but tracking information says parcel will be delivered today between 7-9pm. No parcel arrived so checked tracking information which said they had tried to deliver at 8-50pm. We were sat right by the front door and no card was left so clearly they had not tried to deliver at all.
Day 5 - no text but tracking information says parcel will be delivered today. Returned home to find parcel by front door where anyone could have taken it. Tracking information still says parcel with courier.
Shocking service all round!

If I could have given a negative star I would have what an absolute disgrace of a courier service. A 24 hour delay has turned into 6 days with no update no reason and definitely no access to customer service. If you want a unreliable automated courier service this is your company. Truly a toddler on a tricycle would be more reliable than this travisty.

Why are Hermes deliveries absolutely useless?
It’s Saturday and I have waited in for a delivery, it says in the track your parcel they tried to deliver an hour ago!?
I have been in my flat and not one person has come to my door!?
Companies really should NOT use Hermes as it has to be the worse delivery company out there in London
So annoying I will cancel the order as it’s a waste of my time trying to get these Hermes deliveries

This people just can't do their job at all... I was waiting for a TV delivery that was supposed to be on Thursday, but they've lost it and it took them the whole week to find out where my tv is... then, the online status of my tv finally changed to "in delivery" and the delivery guy was supposed to deliver it that day, but he just never showed up, and when I called them they just said that the delivery guy reported that I refused to take the package so they sent it back to the shop. I have never seen worse service than Hermes... they're just a bunch of clowns

As per most of the other reviews, I have just had a bad experience of Hermes deliveries, or non-deliveries. Their tracking service states that my parcel was delivered and signed for (report shows a squiggle), but never appeared at my address. There appears to be no way of contacting them about deliveries, they just say that you have to contact the retailer who was the sender.
As a company whose business is logistics, they don't seem to care whether they are successful or not. I'm surprised retailers or anyone else continues to use them.

I work from home and utilise a lot of courier companies, Hermes are easily the worst. They give you times for the delivery, they NEVER deliver according to the times given, they never even deliver on the right day. Having failed to deliver, some hours after the stated delivery time they send a message to say they will deliver on the following and they give you times on the following day and they never stick to these times either. Hermes is a garbage company and the sooner it goes bust the better for everyone. Hermes never ever stick to their delivery times and you can wait in all day for them pointlessly. But if you miss a delivery they don't redeliver, you have to go and pick it up from some shop miles away. Hermes really are garbage and I will avoid suppliers who use them. I waited in all yesterday for a delivery for a delivery that never came, I've waited in all day today for a delivery that never came, this is absolutely typical, Hermes truly is garbage.

I use Hermes via Ebay & recently at the end of October 2019 , my parcels are taking longer to arrive & their tracking is a complete joke & when I tried to claim for a lost parcel , because I went via Ebay , Hermes wanted nothing to do with me!!!!!
It's funny how they are quick enough to charge you when your parcels the wrong size or weight though

Twice we had packages left outside our block’s main door, and TWICE the packages were marked as delivered through our letter box. One of these packages was a shoe box!! The delivery driver/freelancer/chancer business model is a disgrace and Hermes are a joke. Police reports, loss claim reports and refund requests have all been filed thanks to the shoddy work of this abhorrent company. I would NEVER choose to use them, I will ALWAYS recommend any alternative to Hermes. Disgraceful.

Utterly shocking, totally appalling service, will never use again!!!

Worst delivery company out there. Email notification has said “with your courier” for the past day. Still waiting for the parcel despite paying for next day delivery. Absolutely trash service

I am waiting for a delivery from Hermes that they received in their dept three days ago. Nothing. There seems to be no easy way to contact them. Our society is going to the dogs when it is run by faceless and unaccountable organisations like this.

Worst delivery service ever tell you there turning up at a time then never turn up.then you got to try and find out what’s going on. AND THATS A NIGHTMARE

I had an empty box arrived today - it had been opened and the contents stolen. There is no system to complain on their website.No contact details. So no chance to any compensation. This is surely the most unreliable postage system I have ever encountered.
