I completed an intensive course with Mas and passed first time! Mas was so supportive through all of our lessons and taught me to commentate when diving to help build confidence! I couldn’t recommend Hero driving school and Mas enough!

Mas was my intensive driving instructor and he is amazing. He taught me to commentate when I drive and I believe this is definitely 100 percent the key to passing and driving safely on the roads. Thanks Mas for all the fun lessons we had together and thanks for helping me prepare to pass :)

I had a fantastic experience with Mas, he was an amazing instructor. He made me commentate while I drove and it made me think everything thorough, which massively improved my driving.

By far hero Driving School is the best driving school. I had mas he was very professional. I was very nervous he showed me how to calm my nerves he went through every thing with me all mernovers and mirror checks how to use the road safely with clear instructions mas was very easy to learn with. Mas tought me to Make sure i commontate as it really helps with the nerves. For sure 1 off the best instructors in colchester I will advise all friends and family to have lessons with mas. Passed my test today (15th July 2023) and I must say that I had the best experience learning to drive with Mas!
He taught me everything I needed to know for the test and more in an efficient and enjoyable way. We got along super well, having crazy chats while driving around learning everything.
I could not recommend learning with him more, it was the best choice I could of made and would encourage anyone looking at this to do their driving with him.

Jay was an amazing driving instructor. He made me feel at ease and was patient throughout all the lessons. After doing a one week intensive course with him I passed my test and I feel confident driving in my own car. His teaching style is kind and patient but also thorough. He explains everything in an easy to understand way and teaches you in a way that you will feel comfortable in any car you might drive in the future.

Hero Driving school is a 10/10 driving school . Mas the driving instructor who taught my son is awesome !
My son who has Autism was a very anxious learner . Mas had a really nice approach to teaching my son , he was very patient and very good at explaining things and making everything a lot easier for him .
He had such a calming influence on my son , Mas is so chilled and will put any anxious learner at ease , Thank you so much Mas !

Booked with Jay for the intensive auto lessons and he was flexible with letting me see how I feel after 20 hours and we just added the 10 extra I needed to try and guarantee a pass.

Very clear instructions, very patient and makes sure you have the confidence to get through the exam once you're ready.

I'm so proud to say that today I passed first time and couldn't be happier. Really appreciate the teaching and would recommend them to anyone looking to learn.

Passed second time with Hero’s, my instructor was Mas, very patient and helpful. Commentating really helped I’m a very nervous driver and that helped me not mess up and think about I’m doing! Highly recommend Hero’s, especially if you’re a nervous driver.

I passed my driving test on 17th Feb 2023 in first attempt at Colchester DVSA Test Centre. I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the amazing job my driving instructor Kabir has done. Kabir has been patient, kind, and incredibly skilled in his approach to teaching me how to drive. His ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way has been a game-changer for me, and I truly appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my success. Thanks to his guidance, I feel confident and safe behind the wheel, and I couldn't have done it without him. I would highly recommend Kabir to anyone looking for an excellent teacher who truly cares about their students' success.

During the lessons Kabir will prompt you if you are not driving to the standards and will make sure you come up to the level where you are driving safe and not hesitating anymore. Please don't give a practical driving test if you are not ready. Always ask your driving instructor if you are ready for the test. Practice and more practice is the key to pass. Kabir made sure I was familiar with all the routes and I was making progress while driving. Stick to one driving instructor and you shall pass!

Efficient and helpful outside his work hours.

The instructor Koffi is very experienced, excellent and knows his job. I passed my test once.

Recently I passed my test with Mas and I can honestly say I enjoyed every lesson.

I came from Southend to Colchester for all of my lessons due to all of the glowing reviews and I am glad I made the choice to do so.

Mas was very patient with me and encouraged me when I wasn’t feeling as confident in some lessons. Each lesson I was progressing and learnt something new and focused on the areas I wasn’t so confident at yet.

I had several hours of driving lessons in the past and had failed a previous test before I started lessons with Jay. He is very patient, friendly and professional and was able to help me overcome my confidence issues with driving.

Jay has a great approach to teaching and doesn’t show frustration or annoyance when you make mistakes but instead calmly supports you to master the skills to a high standard.

Recently I passed the test and I feel I’m a much safer and capable driver thanks to Jay and hero driving school.

Passed my driving test with just one minor! Massive thanks to Jay, he was an amazing instructor. He was very patient and precise, he ensured we practised more on areas where I needed improvement. He ensured I was ready for the test and I am truly grateful. I had an amazing experience and no complaints. So I will definitely recommend Hero Driving School to anyone looking.
