Super patient, taught me to pass my test and how drive safely. Easy to remember tips.

I have recently passed my test with Mas and I would strongly recommend anyone who is learning to get in touch with Hero Driving school.

Mas was able to explain all aspects of driving in a simple and straight forward manner and made it easy to understand. Not only does this improve your knowledge but it also helps with nerves.

One particular element of the lessons that stood out to me was the concept of ‘commentating’. Mas encouraged me to commentate on all thought process and decisions when in the car which helps if you find yourself in a difficult situation on the road.

Learning with Mas was a pleasant, stress-free experience. He doesn’t just teach you how to pass the test but how to drive with confidence after you pass.

Great experience as a driver with experience abroad. I choose Hero after getting a call from Jay right after leaving a query on their website. He was very thorough identifying my strengths and areas to work since the first session, and enhanced my training with links and photos to see on my own time. 1st attempt pass with Jay

Great team, quick response and Kabir was available a couple of weeks after my contact with the school. I was changing from an international license and all I needed was 4 lessons and Kabir's wise words to pass on my test.

Passed my driving first time with Mas. Not only did I pass I had the best time learning to drive with Mas. He’s way of driving it’s so ethic and enjoyable. I would 100% 100x over recommend this driving school and Mas. Before my driving test he kept me so calm and ready, I couldn’t appreciate him anymore.

With hero driving school I was able to pass my driving test on the first attempt, although it wouldn’t have been possible without my instructor Jay. From my first lesson onwards, Jay was always there to explain away anything that troubled me. With each session I became more and more confident on the road, and I owe it all to his patience and encouragement. His entertaining character also made the learning enjoyable, so it was easy to progress. I especially appreciated his flexibility with lesson times and pick up locations, which made getting to and from the lesson as seamless as possible.

To anyone who needs and automatic driving instructor, I would recommend him any day!

Very professional and easy to understand. Im a very nervous person but Jay made me feel comfortable and at ease. I really recommend him and im happy I had my lessons with him as i went on to pass first time.

I had automatic lessons with Jay for about a year before recently passing my test. Jay is a wonderful instructor with a great deal of patience. I was a nervous driver to begin with but he was always very calm, kind and reassuring. He went above and beyond for me, especially in the run-up to my test and I wouldn’t have passed without him. I can’t recommend Jay enough, thank you for everything!

I had Mas as my instructor, was the best person I could’ve asked for! Very calm with me and helpful throughout the whole intensive course. Passed 1st time because of him. Would recommend anyone who wants to pass to go with Hero and have Mas if you can!

I passed my driving test today with a massive thanks to Jay, I came all the way from Southend to do my test in Colchester. From start to finish my entire experience was smooth Jay was very accommodating and really went above and beyond to ensure that I got what I wanted out of each driving lesson. You can tell he has a genuine interest in wanting you to pass, he was knowledgable, patient and super easy to get on with, couldn’t have done it without him and would recommend him to anyone wanting to pass their driving test!

Had a great experience doing an intensive course with Mas. Would definitely recommend. Ended up passing with just one minor!

After waiting two years for a test due to Covid, I was finally able to secure a date but by then my instructor had moved out of the area and wasn't able to continue my lessons. Despite Mas being at full capacity, he was willing to take over and get me test ready in a week of intensive lessons. As I hadn't driven for over a year, I was worried I wouldn't get to where I needed to be in time but Mas has a great way of teaching and he introduced me to some techniques I haven't used before like commentating. These worked really well and I'm pleased to say that this morning I passed my test on my first try! I owe it all to Mas and I'm so grateful! Thank you for everything Mas!

Jay was an amazing driving instructor. I waited to start driving until I was a little older as I was very nervous in cars. I spoke to Jay about this and he was super supportive throughout all of my lessons. Jay was a great teacher and without him, I would not have passed so quickly (first time), or feel as confident as I do now behind the wheel. I am forever grateful to him!

Can recommend Hero driving and Mas enough. Was very patient and taught me how commenting while driving helps to calm and simplify what your doing and makes driving miles easier. Thank you very much

Where do I start 🤔 michelle is such a great teacher the BEST I passed 1st time , Michelle is passionate in what she does it clear to see. She made me over come my fear of not stop and boy was I hard on the brake in the begining!!!!!. I will really missing our lessons and our chats and our adventures we was like two peas in a pod and now would class you as a friend. The red bin being taken away must of been a sign lol Michelle will know what I mean 😜.
