I had Mas as my driving instructor and I can't complain at all. He was patient and got me ready for my test in good time. I passed first time and would definitely recommend Hero driving school to anyone learning to drive :)

Passed first time, with one minor, after a 20 hour intensive driving course, with Mas. Mas is an excellent driving instructor. He is calm, reassuring and professional. I cannot recommend him enough for his due diligence and instructional technique.

Passed my test in first Attempt. Big thank you to my instructor Jay. He is very patient and relaxed. Lessons felt very comfortable. I was the person who was scared as soon as I see any car coming in front of me, Jay helped me in getting my confidence back. He explains thing nicely and patiently. He understands your strengths and weakness and help you progress smoothly.

I had done driving lessons before I met my amazing driving instructor Michelle. Previously, with my old instructor, I was 44hrs into the lessons and felt that I had gotten nowhere with my confidence in driving, which would affect the way I drove and understood the car, as well as being a safe driver on the road. I was set up for failure for my first test in another town and it lowered my confidence even more, to the point that I was avoiding doing driving lessons as a whole. I felt that no matter how much I would do driving lessons, I would always fail. However, after some conversations and encouragement, I wanted to begin my lessons again, but under a different school and driver.

I contacted Michelle and told her about how I had terrible confidence with the car as well as terrible anxiety. I am grateful to have been paired up with Michelle, who has been a massive help in making me the driver that I am today. I knew from the first lesson that I had with Michelle, that she is the best driving instructor to be with so that I could not only pass my test but be a great driver, dealing with stressful situations. Michelle is super understanding, and caring, could tell she has the experience to help teach learner drivers who have anxiety, and a lot of patience which helped me to understand that it was okay to make a mistake, but also learn from those mistakes. She also had great communication skills, Michelle explained and demonstrated in ways that I found super useful and that made sense to me, therefore enabling me to progress and improve my driving. And lastly, one of the most important things that I find in a great teacher/instructor, is being able to be comfortable with them. Unfortunately, I was not able to be comfortable with my old instructor from another town/school, so I would be hesitant to ask for help or advice on my driving and what needed improving. Although, with Michelle, I was encouraged to ask her for help or advice, even as well as practising the same manoeuvres, junctions, and roundabouts, to a point where I felt confident in myself to do it independently.

If you are someone like me that has struggled with anxiety when it comes to driving, or anxiety in general, then Michelle IS THE ONE FOR YOU! I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Michelle, who has made me into a driver that is safe to be on the road and enjoys driving now. Absolutely recommend her to anyone that needs a driving instructor and I will also recommend her to people that I know that need a driving instructor!

I passed my automatic test first time- with 4 minors- thanks to my instructor, Jay. Jay is great! He's very patient, good at explaining the rules of the road, and he was always happy to answer my (many) questions about driving and the test. I really enjoyed my lessons with Jay and always had a good laugh. If you're looking to learn how to drive in an automatic then I can't recommend Jay more!

Hero’s driving school is definitely the best I have been with. My driving instructor Mas was so patient with me and was very clear with instructions. He has made me understand driving is all about safety and the test is not all about pass or fail. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for instructors locally to go with hero’s driving school.

I passed my driving test first attempt thanks to the help of Michelle. I couldnt have asked for better instructor. I came to Michelle after having bad experience with my previous instructor. That was the best decision. Michelle is an amazing instructor. She was very friendly, reliable, encouraging. She was very patient with me and explained everything thoroughly and made all the manoeuvres easy to learn. I enjoyed every single lesson with her. I would recommend Michelle to everyone. Best Drive School
After the pandemic was almost impossible to find someone to teach me to drive and finally pass the exam. I called several instructors and no one was able to help me out, except Jay who was very kind from the beginning. He made my journey possible in a short time, ending with me passing the exam having(first attempt). He was able to find and secure a good time slot despite the fact that almost every slot was already taken. He is devoted, kind, friendly and knows how to teach you properly during the lessons while having a good laugh. He even surprised me with a gift after passing my exam, which was totally unexpected and made my day! Finally, he literally helped me a lot while keeping my expectations up. If you need someone who is professional, who is not afraid of a challenge, while also having a good, relaxing time, Jay is your man!

I started to learn to drive after a 10 year hiatus and had Mas as my instructor. He’s patient and always makes sure your relaxed and not nervous while driving. He went above and beyond to make sure he puts his students first. I will always will have a found memory of when the ‘green hornet’ decided that it didn’t want to have any electric (which was fixed within hours) and puts a smile on my face every time I think about it.

I would highly recommend this driving school, particularly my instructor Michelle. She helped me to pass my test on the 1st attempt with just 1 minor, which i never would have dreamed of achieving when i began learning. I cannot be more thankful for her endless support, expertise, and encouragement. Her ability to empathise with me as a learner really put me at ease and her approach to my learning felt so personal, she always went the extra mile to help me. I'm so grateful for such a positive learning experience and i will be recommending Michelle to everyone i know.

Absolutely fantastic company with Kabir being an exceptional instructor

I'm glad and happy to get my UK full driving license today.I am very thankful to my instructor Mr.Kabir who helped me in alot to clear my driving practical test. Mr.Kabir is an experienced and a very professional man who train the newbies with his fullest effort and rectify our mistakes which we couldn't have noticed. We all know how to drive, but this man teaches exactly how to rectify and drive according to the UK regulations and most importantly how to drive safely and professionally. Once again thank you Mr.Kabir for the an excellent mentor and guide throughout my lessons.

Intensive manual driving course with Mas.
Passed first time !!!
My instructor (Mas) has a patience of a saint, he will stick with you, again and again until you are confident in what you are doing. Having learned with someone else before ( let’s call it classic driving lessons ), Mas teaching was a breath of fresh air, in a way how he explains, and uses more modern way of teaching, all the little hacks and workarounds, which just allow you to free your mind and concentrate on driving. He is also flexible in shifting times around, so adaptive.
He is also very persistent, and understanding that different people learn at different pace !
Also good sense of humor !

Had done my lessons with Vinoth, highly experienced teacher besides very patient. Enjoyed every single lesson taken and had my exam today which I had passed with one minor. Highly advise calling up for Vinoth. Plenty of availabilities besides mock exams etc before test. Definitely deserves a thumbs up.

I’ve just passed with Jay, I cannot thank him enough for his patience and reliability. Jay made me comfortable from the outset, he was honest, and you can tell he genuinely cared about my progress in his company. If you’re thinking about learning to drive, do not look any further than Jay!!
