AVOID Heron Automotives
I wish there was an option where you don’t even have to use a star to rate this unprofessional dealership.
I had my car for just under a month before the caliper carrier became dangerously loose and the brakes could have failed. This was verified by two separate garages KwikFit and Charlton Autos in South East London.
When I contacted Heron Automotives via WhatsApp, email and Instagram messenger they read my messages but chose to ignore me. Eventually they emailed me back and refused to accept any responsibility and that my complaint was a huge “over reaction”.
They were sarcastic and unhelpful and blamed the fault on my driving and that “I had driven over a pothole”.
I was so upset because I trusted them and have a very expensive finance agreement for the car and I shouldn’t be dealing with brake issues less than one month of owning the vehicle. I was met with asinine responses so I had no option but to file a complaint against Heron Automotives with Zuto (brokers) with Close Brothers (car finance) to deal with them directly.
To top it off there is a reminder for a service due which keeps on flashing up on the screen. Again I do not expect to have to pay for a service after a few weeks of owning my car.
Absolutely beyond awful customer service - please AVOID dealing with this “family” run dealership. How they still have a business with their poor customer services is unbelievable!
