Hertz - Windsor Locks - Bradley International Airport (BDL) Reviews 

There were only four cars to choose from when I arrived in Hartford. One smelled bad (Toyota Camry) two were Nissan Altima's that would not connect with my Apple Carplay even with a cord and the last a Kia that did connect with Carplay but was difficult to get in and out of. I cannot stand the sedans you offer. You need to transition to SUV type cars that people don't hit their heads on the ceiling of the car. We wound up with the Kia sedan and that was very generic.

Hertz has no hidden charges that why is why I prefer them what you pay is always your final bill no additions I love it

Everything was done efficiently with no unnecessary actions. Very smooth.

Easy rental and beautiful car. Clean and easy to access. All employees were great. Will rent again in CT with Hertz

Picking up and dropping off processes were very quick and efficient. Car was perfect for what I needed. Staff was pleasant.

Just walked out onto lot and selected a car. Only 4 cars out there but we found one that suited us well.
This airport rental garage also had the full scan to drive through so that was convenient.

Experience was good, prices are getting out of control

Rental vehicle smelled badly of cigar/cigarette smoke. I purchased a spray air freshener and the smell was so strong, it took most of the week to get it back into decent smell.

Pickup and drop-off were seamless
The vehicle had some warning messages that need to be addressed

Their pricing was good and the car was very clean with low mileage.Our one complaint was there wasn’t enough people for the check in to get our vehicle but once we did the check out at the exit booth and check in was quick and simple.

Hertz makes it so easy to get from the airport to the car without having to stand in line waiting. I was able to walk right to the car of my choice and head to my destination without any issues. Thanks Hertz

I liked that they had the car I requested. I disliked that it was not ready at the appointed time and I had to wait. Fortunately, it was very short. I liked the easy check-in. I disliked that I had to check in and redo everything that I had already done online. I really disliked the long walk to and from your rental desk and return point. Schlepping luggage all that way was not enjoyable. I disliked that it was difficult to determine where to drop the car. Fortunately, one of your return agents saw me and bailed me out.

I was never told there was a 200 deposit

Easy, fast check in and out. Clean, new car.

There were no cars when I got to Bradley International Airport,. I had to wait in the gentleman told me to go out and grab a car when it came up. The car I did end up getting was a crappy Nissan Sentra with 35,000 miles on it. We are 70 years old and we basically had to sit on the ground riding in this car, but there were no other cars.. pathetic

The online reserevation process is easy to use..
Check-in ahead of the travel date was smooth
The correct car was available at arrival and we walked directly out to the parking area.
Signage in the airport parking garage is easy to follow.
Return was also easy and very fast.
Staff in the garage at drop-off were friendly and helpful
