I purchased my Honor 70 Lite from AO.com last Oct. A great mobile with superb features for the price. Fast forward a month ago, I received requests to download a new software update, Despite rejecting many times, without my consent, a new Magic OS and Android 14 were installed overnight. All was well until the last few days. As mentioned by someone below, the phone functionality - even for the most basic operations - created countless glitches, Screen/Apps/side buttons often froze and became non-responsive. Numerous error codes popped up "System UI / Operation System/ Apps not responsive" etc etc. Frustratingly, too often, I struggled to view my screensaver - black screen. Frequently, the phone suffered a keyboard input lag (if it bothered to display!!). This prevented phone unlocking. Countless hard restarts were required. Should the phone restart, you'd be praying the start-up Magic OS would not be stuck in an endless cycle. Despite several factory resets, removing apps one by one to identify a potential non-compatible app, running in safe mode, the issue remained.
I escalated with AO who struggled to get hold of Huawei tech support. I attempted for 2 -3 hrs but the line failed to connect. I even struggled to submit an online email via their website. Despite requesting countless times, a required verification code was not received. Once the phone line became operational, every min you're asked to press 1 if you wish to remain in the queue - how bloody annoying!! Should you forget or be unable to view your keypad to type 1, the call will disconnect. Eventually, when I got through to someone - a tier 1 tech support based in China - I experienced additional stress. It took the agent 10 mins to spell my name correctly!! Throughout the 30-minute call, he provided absolutely no tech support. I was asked to post the phone for repair. I challenged & demanded to escalate to tier 2. Shortly after, I received an email stating Huawei and Honor have been two separate entities since 2020 and I was redirected to them. When the hell was this communicated??? Tried to contact Honor and yes you've guessed it, the same issues experienced above with the phone line!! After 2 hrs unable to connect - most likely the same team in China - I gave up.
I escalated with AO.com. They were fantastic. We arranged a satisfactory settlement. Never again will I purchase a Huawei or Honor mobile. The worst ever customer service I have experienced !!
Honor updates
I have had my 70 lite for a while now however, Honour sent out an update and my phone automatically downloads these over night, since then my phone is practically unusable. The phone locks up, forgets my digital pass, crashes, freezes, you name it this phone now does it except work as it should. First when I emailed them they said to use the link and send it away for repair, then I received an email with a whole load of things not too and too do to get it working even though they knew and I knew it was the update they had sent out. After emailing them again which took me 45 minutes to write including having to restart my phone half way through typing up the email they have emailed again today to admit it's the update that has made mine and many others phone a pointless bit of equipment and they are sending out another update to fix it (they seem to think not many have been affected.. I think not) but only in batches, why not send it to everyone at the same time so we can all have a workable handset.

I hate hate hate this company. 5 days ago they forced an updated software out and the phone has been unuseable ever since. It is non-responsive, lags, crashes, messages take ages to come through if at all and then you can't open them. I have been in email contact them but have said nothing helpful and my phone is still not working. I have had the phone 6 months and now I need a new one because they are unable to tell me if/when they will be able to resolve these software issues. The worst phone I have ever had. I will never ever buy another Honor and I urge anyone who actually wants their phone to work, or help when it doesn't to never touch this company with a barge pole. AWFUL. HORRIBLE. USELESS
Honor 200 appears to have issues
Honor 200 appears to have issues. The one that i find most annoying is. When the phone is switched on and on charge, It keeps coming up with a message that you have not set up a screen saver. It tells you how to do it.
But if you follow the instructions from the phone screen there is no option to set one up.
I have tried to get some help from there useless customer services and there does not seem to be a fix.
DO NOT BUY A HONOR PHONE.

There website was not working properly. I receive a cancellation for my order so I made another one.
I ended up receiving 2 phones instead of 1. I have been trying to request a return label for days but no one would answer my call, email or message to customer service online.

Cancelled my order! HORRIFIC customer Service
Ordered within the hour of Launch. Yet to hear when my phone will be delivered. Cannot get hold of any customer service (on the phone or chat). Very concerned about communications if i have any issues in the future.
After another day of zero communications. I have decided to cancel the order. Turns out cancelling is pretty straight forward, click you order, scroll down and cancel. Fingers crossed they action my refund! Will update shortly.
Zero communication
Ordered a Magic V3 on launch day (2:05pm, 5 Sep) and sure I can forgive some teething issues as demand has been high, but it is now 4 days later and the lack of communication has been awful, no sign of the phone when next day delivery was promised. Cannot get through to anyone by chat nor by phone. Makes me super concerned about any level of support (official or not) if anything went wrong.
Took payment and cancelled order
Ordered and paid for the Honor Magic V3. Payment taken, no issues. 24 hours later receive an email to say my order has been cancelled and I'll be refunded without any damn explanation. Ridiculous!

I bought the honor tablet, keyboard and pen for my son's birthday present. And at the beginning, my son loved it, but the pen stop connecting to tablet after 2 weeks.
Since I bought it online as guest account, so have to contact to the customer service via email, phone and online chat, just can't get response. listen to music for half an hour in the phone, on response from online chat for hours with 12 person in front of my queue, no email response from the Honor

Great product abysmal customer service
Grest product but absolutely abysmal customer service.
My very expensive device got damaged but I had 6 months free screen cover - the damage repair was requested and confirmed while the device was still covered. I then had to wait 6 days collectively for the postal service and the repair company SBE to inspect the device. In that time the cover expires and SBE said that it was not covered, and dug their heels in when I argued for my case and told me if I wanted to contest the decision I would have to contact honor. It has now been a week since my case was "raised" for supervisor review and have been told 3 times to wait "a few more days". This a very simple 2 minute yes or no decision for somene to make and all I get is fobbed off. Absolutely terrible, and absolutely no customer care whatsoever.
Yes I'm ranting, we're all reliant on our phones and the internet for so many things in our lives whether it's communication, work, online banking or whatever. I can't confirm an online transaction for example as I don't have a spare phone, and due to both SBE and honor's incompetence in customer care have been without a phone for 2 weeks so far... It's now another Friday so won't hear anything over the weekend. If I could rate negative stars I would, 1 star is too generous.
Genuinely good laptop!
I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. I can't speak for their customer service or phones, so ignore me there, but I adore the laptop I bought from them in 2022.
I have an Honor Magicbook 16 and for the price I paid, it has amazing specs. I couldn't find anything on the market with a better CPU (and 16GB RAM) for a comparable price. It was delivered to me safely and has worked flawlessly ever since.
Again, I can't speak for customer service. But if you're looking for a decent laptop, consider their stuff. Their products are genuine. For the same price as any other brand, you get FAR more power. I'd buy from them again.

My Honor phone screen went green
My Honor phone screen went green. I took it to into the shop who said it was a technical fault. After several attempts to register phone for repair I received an envelope to return to honor repair. The phone had 1 year warranty remaining. The only thing that needed replacing was the screen, undamaged but not working.
Honor has said my warranty is void as the phone casing has very small marks on it. I can barely see the damage in the photos they sent me. However minor, my warranty is void and they want £139 to repair screen and the minor marks on the case.
So, if your phone is not immaculate when requesting a repair under warranty, your warranty is invalid. My phone is a year old so would expect some sign of usage. To return phone with no repairs they will charge for that.
For the appalling customer service concerning the warranty on their phones I give them 1 star.
